My wife and I arrived at the store around 7:15 PM to pick up a few items, including some things from the nursery. We had recently purchased an EGO mower for $899 and were considering adding a blower. While in-store, we noticed a promotion on blowers that included a free battery, so we decided to move forward with the purchase. Because both the blower and battery were locked up--and we had just come from Costco with frozen items--I asked my wife to have an associate assist while I grabbed something I needed on the far end of the store. She was eventually helped and given both the blower and a battery. We proceeded to check out in the garden center and waited a few minutes in line. At checkout, I mentioned the battery should be free, but the associate said the promotion wasn't working in the system. After briefly trying to resolve it, he found the promotion online but realized the battery we were given was the wrong one. Trying to be helpful and mindful of the growing line, I offered to go grab the correct battery myself. Since everything was locked, the associate gave me a paper with a number and said a manager would meet me promptly. I went to the aisle and waited about 10 minutes with no assistance before going to the service desk for help. Eventually, I was connected with a manager, Keith, who did help get the correct battery and walked back with me to checkout. At that point, I assumed my original transaction had been paused or my items set aside given the circumstances. Instead, I was told to get back in line--which had grown significantly. After already spending close to 30 minutes resolving an issue that was not my fault, being sent to the back of the line felt dismissive and frustrating. I understand that issues happen, and I appreciate the individuals who tried to help along the way. However, the overall handling--particularly the lack of urgency and resolution at the end--was disappointing. As a small business owner who regularly spends money at big box stores, I typically choose based on convenience. Experiences like this will influence those decisions moving forward.

    I had issues with my GE washing machine not draining properly. Reached out to another highly-rated…read morelocal repair service and they referred me to GoPro for faster service and availability. I received a phone call and visit to assess the issue later on the same day. Cornelius was professional, efficient, and provided helpful info. Short story: I had washed a load of older throw rugs, backing came off and totally compacted the intake and pump itself similar to a sand pile. Cornelius returned next day with the replacement pump part. The repair took less than 30 minutes and I was back in business catching up the laundry. (Verdict: Don't wash rugs in washer and risk having the backing coming off.) Also, side story: I had Cornelius look at my 2018 model GE stove and double oven combo while he was here, which went partially kaput after I had done a self-cleaning cycle. I figured the high heat had fried the appliance circuit board, but I'm no expert. He gave me an estimate for a repair which entailed replacement part, informed regarding the limited availability and high cost (no longer made) due to age of appliance, and also current comparable stoves to enable me to make the wisest decision for repair or replace. Much appreciated! (Verdict: Don't use the oven's self-cleaning option.) It's been over 2 weeks and all seems well with washer, so I've referred 3 more people for appliance repairs. I have no hesitation in utilizing this service again or recommending to my family and friends.

I admit I was in a bit of a panic and texted William, and even though it was Saturday evening, he answered me, assured me the issue didn't seem dire after unplugging the stove and scheduled a visit for the following Wednesday. He met my husband at our duplex when he said he would, and come to find out, rodents had made a nest in the stove (I don't think it had been used in a bit). I'll spare you the disgusting details, but suffice it to say, William identified the issue, made sure everything was safe as much as possible, gave us info on what we could do next and did not try to upsell us. He gave it to us straight. This is why we'll continue to use his services.

They provided me with a 4-hour window of when they would arrive, and called ahead of arrival. I have a 12 year old front load washer that had error codes which I provided to them on the initial appointment set-up call. The drum was spinning and the machine was draining, but not truly washing the clothes and spinning all of the water out of them. William arrived within the scheduled window of time, immediately began testing the washer, and within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem with my machine, the motor needed replacing. I could actually hear the motor and it sounded very poorly when it was running. Also, the interface needed replacing as well. William provided me with the cost of the motor replacement, and alone it would be over $500.00. He advised me that it was not worth repairing and I would be better off purchasing a new washing machine. William explained many different options to me, and was very helpful. He even provided me with detailed advice regarding new washing machines to purchase and where! He also looked at an old dryer I had not used in over a year and diagnosed what I thought was the heating element gone bad. Quoted me a price on repairing it as well. For the cost of a service call I was provided with kind, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance! Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRECISION APPLIANCE!!

I have NEVER had a shouting match with a service representative on the phone, but sadly this situation devolved into such. It was/is upsetting. Talking to this service rep was like talking to a wall. LISTENING is elemental to customer service. He did not fix the problem and did not follow up as he said he would when he left my home. Worse, he did not tell Samsung he could not fix the TV so Samsung voided my repair ticket leaving me with a one-month-old, $1,400 broken TV still under warranty. When I asked him to call Samsung with the results so that I could get the TV repaired, he kept telling ME to call Samsung over and over -- as if I wasn't simultaneously telling him that Samsung told me that HE had to rectify the issue. The representative had no idea what was wrong with the TV, so kept factory resetting it over and over expecting different results. Standing next to me, it was like I was not even in the room when I tried to explain the problem and requested that he try something else. I reported FA Display to Samsung and they referred me to another company where I had the exact opposite experience. The other company was attentive, helpful, courteous, and respectful, and solved the problem. A quick scan confirms that my experience mirrors that of the other customers writing reviews on this site. Apparently, this is the standard operating procedure for FA DIsplay.
