However, a day after my spray, my feet started to look very and I sent a picture to the stylist and putting lotion on my feet and scrubbing it with bar soap because my feet were very discolored and didn't seem to take well to the spray tan. I can tell you that today is Wednesday and I don't even look like I've gotten a spray tan and I had my spray tan done five days ago. This isn't my first spray tan, but I'm very disappointed with the experience and especially paying what I paid I expected it to last a little bit longer and it barely lasted three days.

Gina sprayed me both times I came in and was very meticulous, checking to make sure my tan was perfect. I loved the color and it even stayed on over a week , which I was not expecting. You can also add on hydration which I did and they spray you with a PH balancing spray. Rapid tan is another add on which significantly reduces the time before you shower. The fade of the color was slow and not obvious which was a huge plus. I look forward to going to Mandalay Mist for another perfect tan.

I've been tanning since college (planet beach, local shops, etc.) and am not too prissy about conditions but I like my equipment clean and the staff to know what they are talking about. Sick of the drive to valrico, I bought a single tan on a level 4 bed from south beach to try it out. The place was clean, towels were in fine condition, and the girls who work there (only interacted with 2 of them) were friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know if they changed management since the negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the better salons I've been to. I felt a little dumb placing so much stock in the yelp reviews before trying it out myself and now I have another 10 tans to get rid of in Valrico before I can buy a membership at south beach.
