Level 4 only has one old bed; the other one hasn't worked for over a year. In Level 3, there are 10 bulbs that won't turn on. In Level 5, the fan is broken too. You don't get a tan at all. All in all, it doesn't even deserve a one-star rating. Why isn't this being checked? The owner does absolutely nothing.

They will rip you off!

I went with the Airbrush Tan, but they also offer a booth spray tan (I just don't trust myself yet). They send you home with a pamphlet and lots of useful information if you're a newbie like me. They also offer teeth whitening. Pricing is very reasonable. I got 3 Airbrush tanning sessions for only $99, which is much cheaper than I expected. They offer lots of add-ons and great discounts if you refer other guests to Mandalay. You can also book your appointments online which makes it super easy!

Gina sprayed me both times I came in and was very meticulous, checking to make sure my tan was perfect. I loved the color and it even stayed on over a week , which I was not expecting. You can also add on hydration which I did and they spray you with a PH balancing spray. Rapid tan is another add on which significantly reduces the time before you shower. The fade of the color was slow and not obvious which was a huge plus. I look forward to going to Mandalay Mist for another perfect tan.

The website provided on the deal looked thorough and professional, so I gave it a shot. From the jump, my interaction with this place of business was extremely unprofessional. When I called to book my appointment, the call was forwarded to an employee's personal cell phone. She chose to answer an unknown number - and knowing business calls would be forwarded to her cell - screaming 'HELLO??' with very loud music blaring in the background. I figured I must have dialed the wrong number - because really, what reputable business would answer a call in such a manner? - but was informed by the employee of her forwarding number. She then booked an appointment for me in the next two weeks. I was skeptical at this method of booking of appointments, but since I had already purchased the deal I tried to remain optimistic. It was at this point I was informed the spa had changed names and moved locations. Red flags at every point of interaction with this company! The day of my appointment continued to diminish my impression of this place of business. I arrived the standard 15 minutes early and had enough time to view the spa. It quickly became apparent that their focus is tanning. It was unkempt and I could see cleaning supplies spilling out of their storage area. I was moved into a room by the employee who was to perform my body wrap. She declined to introduce herself, ask me any questions, or explain the body wrap procedure that was about to be performed. I was extremely uncomfortable. She told me to "get naked" (again, a completely unprofessional way to inform spa goers of removing their clothes) before she burst back in without knocking. She brought in a bucket that looks very similar to the one my dad uses to wash the car with gauze bandages soaking in some mystery liquid. She then imposed herself on me and began wrapping me tight as a sausage. I was then placed between two space blankets on a bed and left for the next hour to marinate like a cold anchovy. I was checked on only once, after I squiggled around enough in the space blankets to make enough noise for her to come back in and check on me. After the procedure was over, I couldn't have gotten dressed quickly enough and ran out of there any faster. Even after everything, I didn't see any results from this body wrap! I definitely would not recommend anyone seeking spa treatments to visit Next Level Tan & Spa.

They were very snobby and not friendly, immediately treating me like I am out of place and don't belong.. They offered little to no education or instruction, and even had to move me to a different machine b/c even they could not get it to work. When leaving, I even told the girl I didn't know if I did it right and she said "well let's hope you did"...as if it isn't her JOB to make sure I did it right. My spray tan turned out horrible, I called back the next day to speak with a manager, and they said manager Haley would not be in until Tuesday. and wow was she a delight.... (not). Kept interrupting me, would not even LISTEN to my concerns, said its hard to believe that I am calling 3 days later...when they told me to call back when a manager was in, on TUESDAY. I have worked in customer service for 15+ years, I have NEVER EVER been spoken to the way Haley spoke to me or treated me, she went as far to HANG UP on me after I asked for her managers information--HUGE RED FLAG. I called back and she said "there is no reason to escalate it" -- whose decision is that? Because last time I checked its MINE. Haley is rude, unprofessional ,unpleasant, and clearly uneducated. This was the worst customer service experience I have EVER had in my LIFE. I will never EVER get a spray tan again and NEVER go back to south Tampa location. What should have been a customer complaint where an apology could go a long way, turned into a customer DISSERVICE nightmare. I truly cannot accept the treatment I was given or the way I was spoken to. The Fact Haley is the manager of these girls , her behavior makes a lot of sense. Completely unprofessional and going to drive this business into the ground. You greet people at the door and make sure they are educated on your products, how hard could it be? 10/10 do not recommend this location as long as Haley is working there, she is going to drive this business to the ground if she hasn't already.
