Their order tracker showed it being made, the driver going to pick it up, and then at 6pm (fifteen minutes after it was to be delivered) it was abruptly cancelled via text with zero explanation. The restaurant was unreachable by phone. I was left with a dozen people I had invited over for New Year's Day at my house, and no food. Sent an email asking what happened; received two canned emails thanking me for my business in response. $170 has yet to be refunded, will be contacting my credit card to reverse charges. When we walked in, the restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were average. We sat down and looked over the menu, which we had previously looked over on Yelp. When I went up to the counter to order, the prices that rang up were more than the prices we had seen, and more than the prices on their digital menu above the register. Our bread came relatively fast as an appetizer normally does, but we waited over 45 minutes for our pizza. The 2 ladies in front of us who ordered right before me, had gotten their pizza, eaten, and left. So we got up and asked how much longer it would be. The girl at the front went into the kitchen and brought out our pizza. It was warm and steaming, but compared to the temperature of the bread when we had received it, you could tell it had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. While we were eating, a lady also noticed the prices and complained to the girl at the front. The girl then stated "You have no idea how many times I've already heard that." Also, while we were eating, a customer came back in and returned his two pizzas and asked for a refund. The pizza was as expected and we did enjoy it, but it was not worth $30 ($28+tax) for a two person deep dish along with the 45 minute wait. (The receipt shows how we were charged $13 for the bread, and if you see other pictures on their Yelp page, it's only listed as $7. From a gluten free perspective deep dish meat lover pizza was good. Crust was crunchy and flavorful. Sauce was not my favorite. It was sweet which personally is not my preference. Otherwise this was a classic, tasty deep dish. Restaurant was dated, empty, quiet but server was checking in often. They seemed busy on the carry out end. I enjoyed it! read more

We went after the Tulio festival and parade so that may account for what happened. The wait time for the thin crust pizza ended up being about an hour plus. We ordered an app but didn't get it until all the food came. It was super busy. But my pizza was a little overdone. It tasted good but I would go back when it wasn't so hectic. read more

For thin crust, this Crust 54 location beats the downtown location for the thinnest and crispiest pizza ever, this where it's at !. Baked perfectly in the middle even with a healthy pile of topings. (No goop) Lots and Lots of perreroni, the old fashioned kind, is crispy and tasty. For the price, side salads, the size of a salad for two, are a deal. I love their Greek Salad. I visit this Crust 54 more than the one downtown since it's closer to me, but I think the one downtown is better. Not sure exactly what it is, but this location hasn't been as consistent across my many visits. That said, it's still pretty good pizza for west Michigan. Their thin crust is preferred, but if you're feeling a Chicago deep dish, they'll do that too, though I've only ventured into that territory a couple times. West Michigan's Best salad is the easy go-to, and unlike a lot of other places where I prefer creating my own pizza, their set specialties are usually on point like Pesto Lovers and their White Pizza. read more

I'd love to give this place a higher rating but there was enough that went wrong that I can't recommend this place nor would I ever return. While it's highly rated and they have both Deep Dish options and thin crust options, their time for take out is pretty ridiculous. We were staying for a long weekend visit in neighboring Fennville and placed an online order for several pizzas (one gluten-free crust, one deep dish, and two thin crust), salad and breadsticks. They said it'd take about 45-60 minutes, which was expected and fine. We drove out there for our order (about a 15-20 min) drive and upon walking in, I was pretty disgusted and shocked at what I saw. For one thing, the place was kinda packed. I had thought maybe they'd require people to space out, socially distance or wait outside since they're only doing carry-out or delivery, but nope. No one was regulating anything. All the people working behind the counter looked like high schoolers and they clearly didn't care. You can see back into the kitchen and it was disgusting to see EVERY SINGLE LINE COOK wearing their masks down by their chin and none of them were wearing gloves either. Neat. Also gross. So on top of not adhering to the pandemic regulations, our order was also not ready in the time they said it'd be ready (they told us they were running behind on all orders). We ended up walking out and waiting in our car. When we went back in to get our order we noticed some patrons not wearing a mask at all, and none of the people working seemed to care or tell them they had to leave or wait outside. Oh. Love the pizza at this place. Both styles are fantastic and this is probably the least greasy pizza I have ever had. The salads served are always fresh, almost insanely so, and they are worth every penny (seriously, I want to know where they get their vegetables). There is not much special about the inside, just a small pizza parlor with a few booths and tables. I wouldn't say it's the most beautiful place, but it seems pretty clean and isn't disgusting by any means. One of the few pizza places I can go, as I don't eat pizza much, without feeling absolutely gutted by the grease. Must try in Holland if you are ever in the area. read more

This is the best pizza in town, hands down. The sauce is especially good, not too sweet or too seasoned. Veggie toppings are fresh and not over cooked. Sausage is some of the best I've had on a pizza. I highly recommend taking home a pie or two to anyone that wants a far more than average pizza night. Being from NY and living in Chicago, I know what good pizza tastes like and Crust 54 didn't disappoint. I had quite a bit to do back in the hotel so I ordered a thin crust with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and chopped garlic to go. The crust wasn't especially thin but was perfectly cooked. The extras tasted fresh and they put the perfect amount of garlic on it. I have no issues recommending it. There are 2 locations and I ordered from the downtown Holland location. Upon arriving, I wished I had more time because the town is very cute and the restaurant has a nice feel to it with both in and outdoor seating. I'll have to bring my wife here because it reminds me in many ways SLO where were got married. Overall, a great choice and I thanked the hotel desk person for recommending it. read more

We went to this Washington St location and thought every bite was better than the last. There is a olive oil and vinegar company that is local and must be mentioned, Fustini's. Shout out to this local maker of fine products. Go online and get some, it is the bees knees. This and many other restaurants use it and it makes everything better. Very nice girls were working that night and made us feel at home despite our Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State shirts that normally get a scowl in this sort of town. But not here. Everyone in Holland, MI seems to be too nice!!! Anywho, so I am face deep in the best deep dish, if not the the best all round pizza I have had in my illustrious career, when I realize, OMG I can only eat one slice. Crust flaky, yet light, sauce, abundant yet no mess, cheese layered perfectly down below. Wow, wow, wow. Traveling back from Michigan to texas, I got a hankering for deep dish pizza. This place had great reviews it was off our route but I thought why not give it a try. Glad I did. Let's start with service. Wow, Brian was up front and explained the menu and expected wait times for regular and Chicago style. Shortly after ordering he brought us some pin wheels on the house. We were checked on several times while waiting. Every customer that came thru the door was given the same service. Once we got the pizza it was pretty freaking good. Fresh ingredients and hot. They even serve you the first slice. I would recommend getting a small size. Pizza was huge. Restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Looks like they have beer on tap. They even boxed up the massive leftovers for us Which was super heavy and may affect the gas mileage home. Lol Thanks! read more

Me and my hubby were really craving some tasty pizza one night and found Crust 54! The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet so when we had to pass gas all of the workers could hear. At one point Ray thought he tore a hole in the leather booth but sure enough the sturdy new booth held its ground!
