My dad really likes peppinos pizza. Personally I don't care for it. So when my dad wanted to order from there I decided to try a sub. I ordered a turkey club, no mozzarella. The menu online says the sandwich is supposed to have turkey, bacon, ham, mozzarella, mayo. We ordered and were told it would be there in 30 mins. An hour later I got a thin, soggy sandwich with wilted lettuce and tomato. There was no bacon or ham on it. I could have called and complained but I really didn't feel like waiting another hour. So I took a bite of the sandwich. It was absolutely awful. In fact it was the consistency of applesauce. I ended up taking the turkey and lettuce off and putting it on bread I had at home. The saddest part of this? I'm the kind of person who likes to give others the benefit of the doubt. This is the second time this has happened. In summary- I don't like their pizza, but other people do, feel free to try it. As for their subs, those are an inedible disaster. read more

This pizza was just not good.. barely any taste to the sauce and soooo greasy!!! There's a really strange spice they put on the breadsticks that I wasn't into at all. My husband and I were in the bathroom all night after eating this. I think I could get past the bad pizza if not for the delivery guy that got an attitude about his tip. He was totally friendly until my husband handed him 3 dollars. Instant attitude (the bill was only 22) Idk if he was expecting more because of the neighborhood he delivered to? Very courteous staff, young man was very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived, we were immediately informed that the pizza had just gone in the oven and it would be about 5 minutes. Their pizza was decent especially since it's the only place close to where we were. They did forget our salad at the first delivery, so I called to see about them getting the salad to us and asked if they could make some cheesy bread also but was told that they could make it but it would be pick up only. I clearly wasn't thinking because why couldn't they bring the cheese bread when they brought the salad that they failed to bring the first time? Not only is the pizza delicious but the customer service is top notch! We are new to the area and wanted a great pizza place for that occasional night when we don't feel like cooking. This is it! We have enjoyed everything we have ordered from this place (the lasagna is HUGE!) and you get a great value for your dollar. The sauce is flavorful and the toppings are fresh and delicious! We had a mix up on our order today and a pizza was forgotten. It wasn't added to our order somehow. Upon delivery the driver immediately called it it and brought it to us for NO charge. Always fantastic pizza! Try the Detroit Style Pizza! It's got crunchy buttery crusts and a buttery base. With nice crisp pepperonis, the cheese had a nice golden hue to it. I grabbed the kids the lunch combo. $5 for 2 large slices (included slices with lots of toppings, if that's your thing), a drink, and a cookie. We're long time Peppino's pizza eaters. The pizzas have a great flavor that is different than any mainstream big-chain joints. It's sauce is a little bit spicy, but not so much that our kids don't like it, or think it's too hot. 98% of the time we get our pizzas on time with no problems. Last night was the first time ever that things went amiss. We phoned our order in and had to repeat the order at least three times for a simple two pizza order - one with one topping, the other with three. We were told 20 minutes and arrived about 22-23 minutes after the order was placed. We were then told it was going to be an additional 15 minutes. We waited, and finally got our order. One of the pizzas was the wrong size. Seems like they had different staff on duty - and didn't expect a Wednesday night to be as busy as it was. There were lots of people waiting for their take-out too. We will go back. This was a one time thing for us after going there for many years, but I felt the need to mention it. We've order take-out twice here recently. Their pizza is great but it's a shame the place is so unorganized and unprofessional. Both times we used coupons and their staff never knows what to do with them. I was placed on hold twice today for him to ask about the coupon; he couldn't give me an accurate total over the phone just that they would "fix it" when we got there. There's just always people running all over the place, stuff smells like it's burning, ect. And then after getting the pizza home today we realized they gave us the wrong one. I called to let them know and see if they would offer a refund and they only asked if we'd like them to make us another one. I've enjoyed Peppino's pizza on several occasions. I've used both delivery and pick up service. Delivery has been promised within 45 minutes and pick up within 15. Pizza has always been delivered and ready promptly. Pizza has been hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!! Peppino's uses fresh ingredients, a sweet, but not too sweet sauce and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. I recommend you give them a shot! While I have not tried the subs, I noticed on the menu they range in price from 4.49 to 5.99 for a loaded sub! You can't make a homemade sandwich for that! :) read more

Terrible customer service. Employee at counter was a girl who was probably older than most of the kids working in the back. She was rude and lacked manners. Ordered and came back for my pizza. Walked in, girl looks at me, goes to the back looks at the only XL pizza there and then walks in the way back. So I sit and wait. Several people walk in to pick up or order and I'm still sitting waiting for her to let me know my pizza is ready. Pizza is put together sloppy as hell, usually by children who just let out from high school. You wouldn't think it'd matter considering it's the same ingredients as lasagna, but the sloppier it's put together the nastier it tastes.nothing is presentable let alone edible in that state. Cheese is slid all over the place never covering a consistent space across the pie. It's almost always burnt or underdone, and service is slow. The recipe however is good, just needs better management and staff, and has needed for over ten years. read more
