I've been coming to Crust Pizza on Rayford for quite a number of years. Rarely am I even remotely disappointed in any aspect of their service or their food. My last visit I had the cauliflower crust with the Blanca and it was perfection! I also like how attentive employees are. I was waiting for someone to join me and in that time I was asked four times by four different people if I could be helped. I wasn't even there that long. This is my second time at this location. I was impressed the first time but I was there without my bride. we tried an Asian place to see if we could do dine-in across 99 from here and they were doing carry out only. So I remembered original crust pizza and said "let's go!" I was very impressed with the way they handled social distancing. All the staff were wearing masks and gloves and everything was done very well. They had dine-indoor, outdoor seating, carryout, curbside and apparently do delivery as well. They've had a pretty good business going for these tough times which I was glad to see. You order at the counter and they will bring the pizza to your table. We loved our pepperoni and sausage pizza. We ordered enough to take a bunch of it home. It was fantastic. but even more impressive was how great the staff was and the service reflected great management. Every server would never fail to ask us if we needed anything as we they passed our table. I made it a point to talk to the two managers on duty to let them know that how impressed we were with their excellent service and great pizza. My stomach was grumbling something serious while at my eye appointment. Luckily, Crust was right next door and after checking Yelp and seeing all the positive reviews, I decided to check it out. I got a small pepperoni supreme and the brownie with a scoop of vanilla. Both were fantastic! The service was also great. After ordering, it's self service for drinks, silverware, etc. and someone brings your food to the table. There was a bit of a wait for my food, but that's because everything is made to order. Saw over 60 solid Yelp reviews averaging 4 stars so went out of our way to pick up a large Margarita pizza plus red peppers etc (thank goodness on the latter). What a big disappointment I must say :(. At first I thought maybe 3 stars and a "meh" - but not even that Truly the most flavorless pizza I have ever tasted. Thank goodness for the abundant crushed red peppers (until I almost choked) or it would have been like eating greasy cardboard with some bland cheese on top. Maybe other pizzas are better but this Yelper ain't going back to find out :( Oh - and by the way they slice it weird here too! I have had crust pizza and salad a handful of times before we have ever actually been to this location. My work gets the one in Cypress catered every so often, also. Anyway, the service was good. We were going to H‑E‑B but stopped here first for a quick bite. We only ordered a salad and kids macaroni. My daughter and I split them both and around the middle of the night, we both became violently ILL. Fever, sweats, vomit... you name it. We were up all night and suffered all day today, with food poisoning... And suffered all day. Needless to say, we will not be back. My husband and son- who were at practice during the time we ate there, are totally fine. read more

We've been to our local Crust twice and came away both times impressed with staff, ambiance and the food. Crust features thin crust pizza, not a personal favorite, salads and pastas. Everything we've had -- cheese bread, goat cheese salad and pizza has been very good. The decor is warm and inviting with those ubiquitous vintage light bulbs providing the light. There is a semiprivate table at the back near a wine cellar wall that's good for groups. Service is top notch. Outdoor patio is a plus. read more

It's pretty okay for a chain. Reminds me of Home Slice in Austin but only vaguely. The toppings are okay. The crust is okay. The decor is cool. Service is pretty good too. They do have a great set-up outside with games, and the patio is amazing! But I mean.... over all? Pretty okay. read more

This is one of my favorite pizza locations! The food is so good, my favorites are the Madelyn's Alfredo, and honestly any of the salads. I know, you don't go to pizza place for a salad but trust me these are fantastic! My kids love their personal (kid-size) pizzas! The staff this location is friendly and efficient, and the pizza is almost always ready earlier than they say.
