Lalo did my yin and yang revamp to perfection and salvage it. It's almost done with healing and looking amazing I need to go back in for minor retouching asap the moon is very pale now and the sun needs a tiny bit of sharpening as does a bit of the edge of where the sun is in my opinion but I can't wait to get brighter and he told me the moon would become more pale as it healed but I can't wait to go back to get it back to brighter in time for my bros wedding in September read more

My first initial visit there was fine. I just walked in to ask about pricing, but just ended up getting the tattoo. A very small one, nothing crazy. I was charged the shop minimum by the owner which is 80 bucks. I thought he was nice and liked the service the first time I just gave him an extra 20 bucks on top. So a 100 bucks for a simple tattoo. Fast forward to two to three weeks later, I've tried multiple times to get ahold of him and got no response. All I needed was a touch up. The ink in some places didn't stick well I guess you would say. I've called a girl took a message for me. She said he would call me back. I went an email, and even an insta message. I was not trying to bug, but wanted to at least put the effort before I assumed I was not worth their time. I also wanted to add something to my tattoo and even want to go over a bigger tat on my calf. I'm guessing they thought I was a waist of time. From my perspective you should treat all customers the same no matter how much they spend. read more

Ariel is an amazing artist. I went to him on recommendation of my brother who is fully sleeved with some amazing work from Ariel. I was very nervous because I had went to three shops before Ariel and all were horrible experiences. The artists belittled me and my ideas and it hurt me deeply because my back piece was meant for my oldest brother who passed away. I finally had settled on a place in San Jose who equally treated me horribly because I figured that was just how tatoo artists we're and I ended up passing out at that shop and not only did they make fun of me but I was out of $500 and had to walk around with a line (literally a line) for a year before I found Ariel. ARIEL IS AMAZING. My experience was nothing like what I had experienced before. He was open to my ideas, gave me an amazing back piece, kept checking on me to see if I was ok and the little details he added made my piece look like a painting. I absolutely love it and if it wasn't for him I would still be walking around with a stupid line on my back and a heart full of pain, as well as hatred for tattoo artists. Ariel is a fantastic artist and tattooer! I went in a few months ago to talk to him and we set a couple appts to work on the sketch. He listened a lot and we got a perfect sketch. We did the tattoo a couple weeks ago and it's INCREDIBLE. Ariel is professional and a perfectionist, he spent a while getting the stencil lined up perfectly, he even told me, "I'm not happy with that," and kept shifting the stencil until we were both happy, and ended up drawing in a lot in order to make it line up perfectly with my wrist. He's quick and very detailed, and the executed piece looks EXACTLY like the sketch, down to the fine details. I've even had a couple people think it was temporary or painted on because it's so vibrant and detailed. Keep in mind that he is exceptional at what he does so he's in demand and booked out a couple months but the wait is beyond worth it. The shop itself is also very friendly, the other guys working there always had a smile and said hey, all around great shop, thanks for a great experience guys! read more

I've had some ink done by Tim and he was very disrespectful and made it seem like he is interested in getting to know his clients just as any tattoo artist would and then he'll block you and make sure that you're never able to reach him again. My friend had gotten a really nice tattoo from Ariel so I wanted to also get my tattoo done here. Went to set up an appointment and Ariel was really nice. One of the things I like was that I was given a price quote of 300. So I schedule the appointment. I put 95 on a down payment the day I made my appointment. I had text Ariel about seeing my sketch and he would never reply. I had to actually stop by the shop to see my sketch because he would never text back. I felt bad stopping by because I didn't want to interfere with someone else session. When I did stop by I looked at the drawing really quick and went on my way. Two days later when I finally came to my appointment I had him add in a flower because I notice there was only 2 flowers and the original had 3. When he drew it in I did not like the placement so asked if he could move it to a certain spot. I kind of felt that if this was taken care of a month in advance I wouldnt have to be taking time away from my appointment. He told me to sit down and he will fix it. When he finally finish the drawing he put it on my leg and I didn't get the different placement of the flower. We had slightly increased the size and I wasn't able to see the flower placement because it was on towards the back of my tigh. After he finished tattooing I had notice that the third flower didn't even move spots. I was kind of upset. After he was done with the outline he told me to give 200 dollars. I then asked him this whole thing is only going to be 300 right and he had said it was going to e ABOUT 600. I was so upset. & it was said because we increased the size of the tattoo. I just wish he could have informed me that making the tattoo a tad bigger would increase the price. I had an another appointment to finish my tattoo schedule on Oct 29 and I rushed to get home from San Jose and found at my appointment was at 5 not 6. So he had told he he could only work on my tattoo for 30 minutes because he called for someone else to come in. I was not given a call the day before to remind me about my appointment. He informed me that they don't do that. Also I wasn't even given a call or text that day of to see if I was still coming. I'm just very upset about customer service. Ariel really does good work, but if I'm going to be paying a lot of money I should be getting at least good customer service. As of right now I only have the outline and like the tattoo so far beside the third flower placement. Just not to happy about how this is all playing out. read more

I see that my review was commented on and contradicted. What happened to me is all true. I have no reason to post a terrible review. Had I been told that if I had medical issues I would need a doctors release when I called the Tuesday before or even when called back on Friday by the artist himself, I would certainly have gotten one. But to make someone wait over an hour after appointment time, not have receptionist ask for release, explain release requirement nor give me docs to fill out...is Inexcuseable!. That is what my complaint is about. Why not explain requirement to first time visitors before they come? Waiting an hour after appointment time to tell me this vital detail is unprofessional and bad customer service. Plain and simple. You can be the best tattoo artist around, with the best conditions, but if you treat customers rudely, or with a lack of care or information.....then none of it makes a difference.
