I've been seeing Kelly for almost a year now, and I truly can't say enough good things. Not only is…read moreshe warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, but she also brings a level of knowledge and professionalism that sets her apart. From the very first appointment, she took the time to understand my skin and its needs, recommending treatments and products that have genuinely made a HUGE difference in my skin. She has an amazing eye for what your skin needs based on your goals. She also has a long-term approach to skincare, which I LOVE, and I've never once felt pushed toward unnecessary treatments--which is one of my biggest pet peeves! I feel confident and cared for every time I walk out of her treatment room, and truly enjoy our conversations during our sessions. If you're looking for someone who is not only kind but also deeply knowledgeable and results-driven, I cannot recommend Kelly enough!

I had been receiving Botox from this location in Cary for about 1.6 years. I was a steady customer. I spent a great deal of money. I became hospitalized for 4 months as a client over 65. During the last year, I had to cancel several days before on just 3 occasions, and on one occasion, the day before, rushed by ambulance to WakeMed. EVERY time I called as a professional courtesy, the most recent, one of the untrained young girls literally said to me, "hold and I'll see if we can cancel you!" I replied "excuse me? What does that even MEAN? I'm in the ER! Should I contact my attorney?" I was punctual as always to my last appointment. As I went to make my next appointment, happily saying "I thought I was over the critical time where I could die".. INSTEAD of CONCERN, empathy or acknowledgment, either the first untrained employee or another untrained employee NOT ONLY demanded $50 upfront "in case I cancelled my next appointment"!, but NONE of the staff employees offered ZERO concern or acknowledgment!!! I was flabbergasted! As a Duke University Chemistry professor and neurologist on sabbatical, I asked "are you familiar with the American with Disabilities laws? Are you familiar with the empirical fact that I've NEVER been a 'no show"?.. that even in the ER I was professional enough to call?" I stated "I won't be back." In addition, my pattern as an established client is once a month with a $140 budget. On EVERY OCCASION Stacie would make me EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and would purposely attempt to elicit more money by stating- with a very over concerned coercion, "You know.. because you get such low amounts that this won't hold unless you purchase X amount of units!" As I have been receiving Botox for a staggering 35 YEARS, I was aware of this fact and had to repeat again, and again and again, "I'm so sorry to disappoint you-as I'm disabled until I heal, this is the most I can do every month!" This is the ONE thing I do for myself. It should be a day/event of peace and joy. Instead, I left each session sad, embarrassed and purposefully insulted and demeaned. In addition, Stacie informed me "she couldn't inject me anymore as she was now only going to work on 'top-tier' customers!!" I wouldn't send my enemy to this place! It's hilarious to see uneducated, unattractive front reception employees try to pose as authoritarian figures to an MD, who was temporarily quite disabled in recovery.

The one thing that I know is that it does not matter what the setting, a great esthetician is one in a million and without a doubt, Jenny is one of the best in the business. Some of the best waxers are the ones who tell you what they are doing and advise you on how to watch out for an esthetician that is knowledgeable and experienced. The reason for this is because many, many waxers double dip and use the wrong type of wax on your skin. Jenny, in the knowledgeable and experienced category, never double dips and chats you through the process. Also, in a most respectable way, she does not sh** talk other salons that I know, for a fact in Raleigh, is way below grade, especially for what they charge (see: SkinSense). She uses a combination of waxes, tells you to breathe in and out, and doesn't leave a loose hair in tact. Her process is methodical and natural. I highly recommend her and am genuinely sad that I will not be in Raleigh more to use her services. However, from now on, I definitely know where to go if I am in town.

Like the others, I love Jenny!…read more I did my research before my first waxing and it seemed that she was in the best in town... and I agree now that I have gone! She made me feel comfortable and treated me like an important person and her friend. I look forward to going back in the future. Like the person below me, I am curious about tip. I think technically you're not supposed to tip the owner, however I did anyways on my first service since I got 20% off. UPDATE: I asked Jenny about the tip when I was there last. She said she does not expect tip and the Credit Card company automatically puts a tip line on there. Her main concern is that her customers are happy and can afford her service and will want to come back. Don't feel obligated! :)
