Dr. Kevin Harsha and the staff were wonderful! Our tiny little Cavapoo was treated like royalty. She loved all the attention. For her first vet visit she was not frightened by any of the sounds or getting her nails clipped. I went in yesterday to get my cats food. I was able to talk to them about my cat scratching a lot. He's never been outside so I did not suspect fleas. I thought ear mites or allergies. I just moved and they told me how fleas can stay dormant for a long time and suggested flea treatment. So I got the treatment and it worked. I am so happy about that. Had a pretty bad experience when I came here for the first time I took my orange cat in for grooming in to check out his digestive track because he was throwing up. When I got there, the doctor told me that they didn't want to do the grooming because the shorthaired cats keep themselves clean enough. They then ran three different test on my cat briefly mentioning the price and once I was at the checkout desk, my total was $450. I only expected to spend around 200$ it all happened so quickly I didn't even know what was going on. read more

Laverne H.'s review reminded me to update mine. I now have one dog, but when my sick dog was extremely ill, I bought her to Chrysler Animal Hospital. I knew she needed IV'd, but didn't realize they'd keep her over night for24 hour observance. Here's where the update comes in....I drove by there around 9:00 that night, and there were no cars. That dog never spent any time without me, and it scared her. The IV did buy her some life time,and I'm glad of that, but they didn't do anything I can't observe here at home, including IV care. I have asked other vets, and they have no qualms about letting the animal stay with me in that condition. I still question the "24 hour observance..." It's not "24 hour observance." Don't call it that. I don't remember how much the bill was...I have my second dog, and due to the location, I use them, but I''m more cautious with what I allow them to do. I know the vets are good here, and they leave no stone unturned, but now I'm more selective. I do use their groomer who I am very happy with. read more

I'll start off by saying I have a difficult, reactive dog and because of this I've had a lot of negative experiences with vets and other pet professionals. While I liked our previous vet, they started to get too busy for us to be able to get timely appointments and the prices for their services kept increasing. I went to Crysler after my friend recommended them to me and I'm so glad I did. My dogs have never received better care. They get scheduled in quickly and I even have money left over to spoil them with after our appointments. Couldn't have asked for a better vet! read more

Have been bringing my dogs to Crysler Animal Hospital for 25 years and never had any issues. Tried to make an appointment for grooming and was told that they were booked through the end of the year. One of our current dogs has to be sedated for grooming and was told that they do not do that any more. It would be nice for them to let customers know changes to the way that procedures are preformed as I was in with our other dog last month and brought up getting the difficult dog in for grooming and mentioned that he needed to be sedated and was not told anything about them not doing that any more. Time to find a new vet. Crysler Animal Hospital contacted me and was able to accommodate our dogs needs. Thank you to the staff for working through the issue. read more

My puppy had her first Vet appointment today at Crysler. As a new puppy mom, I am extremely paranoid about my puppies mental and physical health, and was super nervous about her having her first visit. I could not be more thankful and happy with our visit! Our Vet, Dr. Crowe, was awesome. So kind and made sure our puppy had a wonderful and pain free visit. Our vet tech, Melissa, was incredible. She took time to answer any and all of my questions and concerns (there was a lot) and helped to make sure my puppy was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Everything and everyone from the second we walked in was amazing , informative and welcoming. Could not recommend enough! I brought my dog here to be groomed and I absolutely loved it. The cut was perfect and everyone there was really nice. My dog was only there for about 2 hrs too. I've already recommended this establishment to relatives and friends. Just went back yesterday the 26th and even though I like the groomer, the Veterinarian was rude, while I was waiting patiently at the front desk for some kind of help she walked up to the desk looked at me but didn't say a word. She turned around and went back to her office. Even worse when my dog was done with her shots and checkup the Vet couldn't even speak to me about the results. She instead had one of the employees hand me the results and try to explain what they meant. Ridiculous!!! I'm never going back. Sorry groomer. read more

We took my daughters dog Lilly to Crysler Animal Hospital as she was very ill. WHAT A KIND AND CARING FACILITY WITH THE BEST STAFF I HAVE EVER MET. Lilly passed away and they took care of doing her cremation. I can't say enough about what a wonderful job they did. They even made imprints of her little paws which brought me to tears. Who ever thought of doing that was an angel.I will always be so thankful for the care and respect you showed our baby girl Lilly. The women that work here are so nice! It's a well kept facility. I have taken my cat and dog. They are organized and kind. I do find that $250 for a canine dental service is an abnormally high price point. So I would check other facilities for this service. read more

My chameleon sees Dr. Jay Schweizer, one of the exotic vets at the clinic, since 2013. Dr. Schweizer isn't there every day, I believe he is typically on site Mondays, Wednesdays, and maybe Fridays. We've been in for a temporal gland (mouth) infection and a URI, plus numerous fecal parasite counts. I've been very happy with their services. Dr. Schweizer is very gentle with my cham and very patient with my questions. Fecal checks are very reasonably priced. There aren't too many vets, even those that specialize in exotics or reptiles, that have any experience with chameleons. read more

I use this place for the foster cats we receive. Bell, the latest, has been the latest problem. Vomiting and lethargic cat was taken in. Dr. Bellinger requested we take her to another Hospital after they stabilized her. Of all the Clinics we have used, never had one refer us to another. We had a small emergency with our cat and we called them and came in. The staff was very quick and courteous. They were empathetic towards our emotions. I am very pleased with the service my mother and I received for our cat. On top of the customer service we received, they were also very courteous and gentle with our cat. We appreciate this place for putting our minds at our ease and making sure our cat is ok. The price we were charged was also reasonable for those on a budget. I would like to express my appreciation for Dr. Fry his staff and fellow vets at Crysler Animal Hospital. Recently, one of our kitties needed surgery on both of his hips followed by two weeks of recovery. Dr. Fry was very patient with us, using x-rays to explain why the procedure was needed and how post-op recovery would proceed. Everyone we encountered demonstrated a carrying and considerate attitude and they allayed our anxiety concerning the health of our kitty. Today, just over two weeks after surgery our kitty is up and about, pain free, and getting back to being his pre-surgery/pre-pain self. read more

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Schweizer with this group for 15 years. The techs are always friendly and treat my pets with love. The prices are fair, and Dr. Schweizer has always given my pets extraordinary care. I have had to have everything from yeast infections treated to major surgeries, and he has been wonderful. BEWARE!!!!! This place is a joke. Their prices are outragous and there groomer is not good. Their appointments are pointless. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this animal hospital. Their prices are WAY higher then the other places in town. I will never go back there and do any kind of business. I took my dog in to have him groomed and had a specific talk with the groomer and even brought in a book with pictures of what I wanted him to look like. My appointment time was at 10:30AM and finally at 4:00PM they called me and told me that my dog was ready for pick up. Who takes 5 1/2 hours to groom a dog? When I got there to pick him up I was in total anger and shock. The groomer completely butchered his hair. After seven months of growing his hair to get a specific cut, she completely failed at giving him the cut I wanted. Even after reassuring me when I dropped him off and looking at my book with pictures that she could achieve the hair cut I desired. SHE TOTALLY FAILED. I was quoted on other various things as well but opted not to do his veterinarian work there as I am COMPLETELY satisfied with Crain Animal Hospital to do his vet work. Again I would advise everyone NOT to take there pet there!!!!!!! They are overpriced and there groomer is not qualified to give a propper cut, unless you want her to cut your dog's hair the way she wants to regardless of what you want. we took our arthritic boxer there they were not sure what was wrong with her,,they prescribe medication that did no good at all,finally they wanted to keep her over night,,we let them keep her even though i didnt feel good about it,they said that she had a really comfotable night....really cause for 3 weeks every night it was very bad for her,,,we took her there for a second opion,,,,what a waste,,our boxer was in so much pian we gave her human hydracodone for painthe last night she was alive and it didnt touch the pain,,,,,we put our baby to sleep she was hurting to bad,,there was nothing anyone could do,now chrysler animal hospital sucked out anthother 450.00 to do nothing,,,dont use them for a second opion ,,,they blow smoke up your dress and the end result is always the same read more
