I was talking with a friend about her Mother who recently passed away and how she received a wonderful and reassuring reading from a psychic at Crystal Fantasy named Patrick. I am not one to get psychic readings, but this friend's experience got me interested so I booked an appointment. I was told to bring photos of the 2 people I hoped to contact, so I loaded photos of my Dad and his friend from when they were young and older onto my phone. When I sat down with Patrick, I found him to be very warm and charming, and I honestly had zero expectations for my reading. He spent more than an hour with me, mostly providing general observations that I believe that could be deduced from looking at me and the way I am dressed. I was mainly holding out my opinion (and a little hope) that he would be able to provide me some insight on my Dad's last days, and when I showed him my Dad's photo of when he was 21, Patrick asked to see a more recent photo. I had wanted to avoid that because my Dad had a big beer belly, puffy face and bloodshot eyes, which is a dead giveaway for being an alcoholic. So after showing him the picture of my Dad in older years he was able to say he died from complications of alcoholism. True, but easy to guess. He also said that what he actually died from was an overdose of morphine during hospice, which did not go over well with me because he was never in hospice or was given morphine. And in fact, this is the exact same thing he told my friend about how her mother died, which she believed as her Mom died while in hospice and this brought her peace. I felt that this was a go-to scenario and was disappointed that my reading didn't feel authentic. Still, I enjoyed my time with Patrick and my donation was $220. The store itself has their merchandise beautifully displayed, and it's in a great location on Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of the shopping district there in Palm Springs. read more

Firstly the store is just absolutely impressive in both size and selection, I seriously couldn't get enough of how much they had to offer as well as how fairly priced they were. Crystal Fantasy might be my favorite spot in Palm Springs. I don't actually go in for crystals or readings--my interests lie elsewhere--but their extravagant presence certainly add to the great energy of the place. I come for the books. It's not the biggest selection, but it's always interesting and provocative. Lots of cool stuff. I was impressed by their Wiccan books, but still ended up with a Tibetan Buddhist book and a Gita. We overstayed our visit in PS so much that my body drew itself in attraction to Crystal Fantasy for one last attraction. We bought so much moldavite, we were walking repellents. Love how they certify their moldavite from the Czech Republic because it can only come from one place after all. I have read that there are synthetic replicas being manufactured in China, so you definitely don't want those paperweights. Patrick has been a great spiritual advisor. He is kind and has a way of being honest and upfront without being offensive. I've met others in the past that feel that because they have a gift they should deliver and not worry about other's feelings and that can be difficult because often the receiver is already in a vulnerable state. Last summer I stopped by to see Patrick at Crystal Fantasy and he mentioned something was going on with my stomach, but it would be okay. Later that year I visited with him and again he mentioned it. I had been having discomfort and I finally decided to take his advice and see a doctor. What I thought was probably some form of gastritis turned out to be the beginnings of neuroendocrine carcinoma. The doctors managed to remove the tumor as it was still very small. As of now I am free of the tumor and will need to keep a close eye on my health. But if it wasn't for Patrick's repeated message this could have become really bad. I will always be grateful for the Divine's intervention thru Patrick's hands. read more

This is very nice store they have all kinds of crystals , quarts and candles spiritual books and evil eyes protection items. If you need a card reading they charge you 20 they say is volunteer donation but they will not read the card or healing cleans if you choose that instead of the card reading until you out the money under a stone. This review is long overdue. I was a bit of a hassle last time I came in. I was a little tipsy and accidentally purchased two of the same item. Top it off, it was Pride so they were busy. The staff (Sarah and Josh) returned and refunded the item with no hassle and lot of friendliness despite the fact I caused a bit of a backup in the line. I hope good karma came their way for being so patient. I am not really a spiritual person because I am an atheist. But I still have a good time here. There are a lot of fun items and gifts. I was primarily buying items for a Buddhist friend of mine. They also have $3 gemstone rings in a variety of sizes (I am a size ten - so they have rings for men too). Lately all they have in stock is solid hematite bands (no gold, silver - just solid hematite). But I have obtained aventurine (I assume its that), dalmatian stone / jasper, red goldstone, and sodalite. Sadly I broke my sodalite ring and I always drop by to see if they have more in stock when in town. I hope I can get another. There is a decent selection of incense as well. I bumped into the owner when I left and told her she has a great staff. She is great too. Very friendly. Rather than taking responsibility for the staff's missteps and lack of organization, Joy is continuing to gaslight. I walked in several times to check on the cue. I also periodically went into the shop to check. The cameras would have verified this. None of your employees actually bothered to say "oh you've been here a while, let's check." Or "we're sorry we didn't see you and you missed your appoint, let's reschedule." The fact that the owner is doubling down on her and her staff's mistakes is quintessential demonstration of how racism works. This is an example of anti-Asian racism. We did not previously know about the kidney issue. Patrick also told me it would be successful and my husband would live 15 more years. Six days later we went to Mayo Clinic for a basic evaluation to see if he was a candidate for a transplant. He was immediately admitted and due to a kidney issue he was fast tracked through the process and we were told "you will get a liver much sooner than you think." 12 days after talking with Patrick my husband went through a transplant with multiple complications. It was touch and go but I was completely calm during the whole process because of Patrick. It was the best $100 I've ever spent. read more

Enjoyed this new age shop better than the one down the street. I liked the openness and organization of the store which allowed for better social distancing and browsing without feeling rushed. They had a good selection of gem stones with varying price ranges. I noticed their gems/candles were more affordable yet less of a selection compared to Earth Elements . Crystal Fantasy Is one of those New Age shops that offers the various books, crystals, religious items, jewelry, and other New Age type items that these type of shops sell. The shop also has its own in-house psychics and card readers. So, if you're into that kind of stuff, you can go here and get your fortune told. In terms of overall size and design, the shop is fairly large and well laid out. The one thing I have a bit of a problem with, however, is that their psychics are stuck right in the middle of the store sitting at tables right next to one another. Thus, if you're having a reading there is really no privacy. So, anybody walking around the store, as well as the other people having their readings done, get to hear all of your intimate details. This is not so much a criticism as it is just an alert, as this is what will happen if you go to this store for a reading. Other than that, the people who work at the store all very nice.
