I was surprised how easily I scored an appt for what I imagine to be a busy time on a Saturday, Noon-12:30 pm. Try getting a nail appt at that time, not gonna happen, at least not last minute. But maybe here, because they do manicures [and pedicures, I suppose] too. The place sits at a corner near an odd intersection, there is no parking lot but if you are lucky you can maybe get one of the two spots they have on the side walk or go around the block, it's residential parking. When I arrived there was one person getting a foot massge/reflexology, idk, but the place was empty. The lady finished up the massage and when she got up, she went and sat behind the manicure table. So I was actually the only customer. They set me up and my journey to detoxing began. The ladies are sisters and they were absolutely friendly and down to earth. The best part of this experience was waiting to find out what color the water was going to change to. It was a rusty red brown; toxins what could be cigarettes (I dont smoke lol), air pollution, cholesterol etc...who knows. I don't think I'd do it again, only because there is no proven fact that the color change is from metals coming out of my body. It could be the electricity and the salts in the water that create that color. Anyhow, it was fun and I enjoyed a good chat.

The receptionist gave me a cute basket to hold all of my clothes and things to put on the floor. (this was a nice touch because in most other massage places, they always tell me to just leave me clothes on the floor) I'm surprised at the strength the little Asian lady had ! She knew just the right pressure and knew exactly where it hurt. She stretched my arms, my legs and hit major pressure points. Fifteen minutes before my massage was even finished, the reflexology therapist barged in, interrupting my masseuse, and started rubbing my feet with one hand while playing games and texting with the other. My masseuse didn't say a word. After the massage therapist left, this woman -- who had a terrible attitude -- continued her so-called "reflexology" the same way: one-handed, distracted, and clearly uninterested. I'm not a confrontational person, but she honestly intimidated me. In hindsight, I should have spoken up. I will never go back. I can only hope she's no longer there, because I doubt I'm the first person to complain.
