Another great pedicure from Amber! This is my go-to nail salon. Not only is it close to home, but it's clean, staff is friendly and I always leave feeling relaxed and happy with my freshly painted toes. This salon is located in a small strip mall near the 63rd street Safeway store. It's next door to a UPS Store. They're open 6 days a week, closed Sundays. They open at 10am and close at 6pm. The manager, Jenny, is nice and accommodating. She does an awesome eyebrow wax! I go in for a basic pedicure ($30) about every 4 weeks or so. I always call a day or two ahead and make an appointment. Since COVID, they only seem to have two people working, so I recommend planning ahead if possible. They offer many services, including manicures (shellac polish, dip powder & acrylic nails), pedicures (variety of options at different prices), and waxing. Overall a great nail salon. Went here yesterday, it was lovely. Albeit it was quiet, it proved to be that was their strongest attribute. I'm used to 10+ staff in my normal fast paced salon, but this location has one of the best attention to detail that I've encountered. A mani+pedi took around 2 hours, but the details matter 1000%. I did not have to fix up my mani+pedi of over painting, I did not feel rushed, I did not have to give my input because they took care of it all. The extra time they had was used to its fullest extent. I would definitely recommend this location because it was a rough around the edges experience at the start that turned out to be the best that I've encountered. Everytime you call to schedule they don't have availability. Only two workers and you can't ever get an appt with them..last time I was in, I had an appt & almost walked out after waiting 30 mins. Had a pretty good experience with this salon. However my sister cannot say the same. The guy who did my nails took extra time and care to make sure they were exactly how I wanted which was a nice feeling because most people I've gone to don't go the extra mile to make sure the nails are fully satisfying. He even added some glitter as a free gift!! As for my sister, the lady who did her nails started after mine started and finished half way through my nails. Not only that but when the lady was filing her nails she went a little too rough and made my sister bleed. Valentines Day Pedi A painful pedicure? Yeah. Cutting the cuticles around your toenails so that it burns and bleeds is not my idea of a good time. The fact that it was empty on a Saturday in March when the weather is finally warm enough to break out your sandals should have been a red flag. Went in for a pedicure and was immediately serviced by an older lady. Since it had been probably six months since my last one I went for the $35 deluxe. No callous removal, half a$$ cuticle removal, and the polish job was horrible. There was no shine whatsoever and the polish looked like she put it on over sand. Location was convenient but I'd gladly make a drive for a more professional job. read more

This is my absolute favorite nail salon! Everytime, I get my nails done here they last forever. I always do a french gel manicure and they can last up to 3 weeks sometimes without peeling or chipping. I've never had a bad time at this nail salon. I choose this nail salon over all other ones around my house. They always do a great job and are priced fairly. I usually get the gel polish on my toes and nails and it lasts almost a month!! It's so wonderful. The only downside I would say is one of the older ladies can only do pedicure not anything else. Okay, never ever wanted to give an awful review. But, I want to save the others who look into coming here. One, the lady who was doing my nails coughed towards me a few times without covering her mouth and felt the spit on my leg. Totally respect people who has OCD, but she spent the last damn hour cutting my nails especially the sides of it which she wasn't supposed to. And three, my nails were dirty because I'm always running outside in my backyard with my dog. So, she was being judgmental and literally fucking put it on my foot instead of the towel to make a point. Four, she went to get a different color as she thought it'd look better on me. I even had to ask her to massage my legs, since she skipped that. Pushed my foot and such without being gentle. Charged me too much for a BASIC PEDICURE I asked for. Here is my experience and decide for yourself if you want to go to this place. I walked in and was told there would be a 20 minute wait. Thirty minutes later I'm showed to my seat. The tub was dirty and there was a wet dirty towel. I told the attendant it was dirty and asked her to wipe it down. I asked politely and did not draw attention of anyone else. After waiting for 10 minutes and seeing that others were being helped before me I got up and left. I didn't make a fuss. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

This was by far the worst experience ever. I brought my 10 year old daughter in to get her nails filled, just something fun for her and I to do, but this wad a terrible experience to say the very least. I am not one to post but feel this is warranted. It started by my calling ahead to make the appointment. Was told there was only one person that could help but fine to bring her in. When we got there, the nail technician did not say much other than "sit" so I sat her down and showed the lady my nails to represent the length and showed her the color. I sat back down to wait and then got up to check and by that time she had removed the remaining nail tips my daughter had. I asked her why and she said that young girls nails are too oily to keep with the product. I then asked for her best recommendation and she said only gel polish with no tips. We opted for tips but just shorter like mine. Once again I sat down to wait. I got up again to check and her nails were clipped almost to the point there was no tip at all. I asked my daughter if it was okay and she just nodded yes. The nail technician had still not even acknowledged me. I let her continue and in the end her nails were super thick and looked terrible. I also saw polish on her finger. I presented this to the nail technician and she got irritated telling me that there was nithung she could do, the polish would just need to wear off eventually. I know that isn't true as I have been getting my own nails done for years. She was so snotty about it that I let her know that I was also not happy with how thick her nails were and she said "well they are so short and with the gel that is just how it is". Too bad because I was going to let my other daughter get hers done too but instead just told her that I would pay what I owed her and we would go. She was happy to get rid of us and charged me full price for terrible service. I even told her I felt at the very least she should not charge us full price, but she refused. read more

I would never leave a bad review but this just pissed me off... Iv been doing my nails for over 2 years and this is by far a first and the worst nail salon. First of all they charge to fix a broken nail first time ( All the salons I been to never in my life I leave a big tip anyway ) second I come in to get two nails fixed he proceeds to tell Me that he can't do my pinky because it looks infected ... okay it's not infected it was clearly spray paint (because I was painting things all day ) and that he won't do that one I need to wait .. ok why would I walk around with one pinky missing and the second one the thumb the lady fixed prier day to this and didn't even take the cracked nail off just covered it with more acrylic super lazy because I paid for it and guess what it broke same spot next day. The first time I came in to get it done week from now he kept telling me how thin my nails are.. I don't pay you for advice. I just felt like the guy is rude and you shouldn't treat you're clients the way you do. Absolutely AWFUL-If I could give less stars, I would. When I arrived, I was told the wait would be 15 minutes. This turned into 20 before I was sat in a pedicure chair to wait for another 40 minutes for my service to start. Had my feet not been submerged in water, I would have left. I actually witnessed the woman who seemed to be the owner, or manager, turn away 3 people telling them "No time for you, come back later". No offer to wait (although they'd probably be glad they didn't!), no offer to book an appointment. With all of the waiting I had done, I was late to my dinner reservations. Came in this sunny day and there was one customer. That should have told me something right then and there! Horrible nail trim, lazy leg massage, she was more interested in speaking to her coworkers and laughing and chunky, gloppy paint job. I asked her to fix it and she filed over the wet paint and made it worse. She proceeded to tell me it was good! A 5 year old could have done a better job. Don't go here. I got a gift certificate from my boss, it was 65 dollars, I got the same manicure and pedicure as my daughter, I was expecting to pay some of hers, however my manicure and pedicure cost 65 dollars. Was it because I had a 65 dollar gift certificate? I don't know but I was uneasy. Also my daughter is mixed nationality, however she spoke English there, she also spoke Vietnamese and my poor daughter did not enjoy her very first manicure and pedicure because in Vietnamese the spoke about how ugly her feet and nails were. The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet. She didn't talk much, which is my preference. I prefer to sit and read while getting my toes done. I opted for the deluxe pedi which included a hot stone massage. It was pretty obvious she didn't know how to do a hot stone massage as she sort of exfoliated my foot with the rock (the rock was smooth so it was anticlimactic). Worst massage I've had in a while. Pedi was decent. When they moved me over to another chair to dry, she grabbed my purse and got purple polish on it. Just a little...but still. No on is the salon spoke to each other. It was not the happy and fun places where anyone goes to relax. Despite the craptastic massage, I gave a $10 tip on a $35 pedi because I felt bad for the lady who did it. She nearly cried. She was super sweet...but untrained. The manager needs to spend some time with her. But overall, everyone just looks like they want to leave (staff included). This place was DIRTAAY.. I went in to have acrylics removed, and a pedi. I had the pedi first, and the "nail tech" cut my cuticle too close and nicked live tissue. Ouch. He ignored me when I vocalized that it hurt. I should have packed up and left but I let him keep going. Lackluster and inconsistent leg massage. Lots of side talk and laughter with the other tech in Vietnamese while I tried to disassociate myself, as I don't speak Vietnamese. I really started looking around when I moved over to have my acrylics removed. Nail dust on everything, including the bases of the chairs. Dirty files and drill bits covered in nail dust. Nail trimmings and whole acrylic nails (not mine) all over the floor and one whole piece of someone's fingernail on the tech table. Disgusting. He ran the payment before he was through, or I wouldn't have tipped, and I regret paying for or staying for the "service" at all. Frankly, I'm embarrassed to have stayed. As soon as I got out of there, I ran across the street to Walgreen's to buy a king-sized can of TInactin, and double-washed my hands, feet and nails when I got home. YUK. Never again. read more
