Great quality food and menu. We were looking for a new American tavern with just this type of food. We ordered the crudo (a must try!), baby gem salad, fried mushrooms and the juiciest burger! The staff was so kind, service was great, and ambiance was perfect for a little date night. Looks like they had a great selection of drinks with a full bar. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! The mussels, pork chop and steak frites looked good too.

First time visit. This is in the location of the old Field Club we really liked and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is nice - the photos on the wall are old golf pics. I asked a waiter & a part are actually from the Crystal Springs gold course. We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night but the Tavern wasn't crowded & we were seated right away. Within the hour however, the place was packed, including a 10+guest party. It was quite loud - not sure if it was due to the larger group of guests or the acoustics of the place. We got water (I appreciate it being filtered) right away, ordered our drinks & food. It was delicious. Particularly the pork chop stood out: it being combined with little Manila clams was amazing and the veg (we were quite sure we got leeks instead of fennel?) was delicious . Great. The burger didn't leave anything to wish for either: we loved the thinly sliced pickles, they tasted house-made (can't believe I'm gushing about pickles on a burger but yeah). Would like to return soon to try more of the menu.

My first time to dine here for my pre birthday and a friend's post birthday. I had the Kanpachi Kinilaw as starter was pretty awesome and Grilled Berkshire Pork-chop as my entree cooked with Manila clams and fennel. I don't know what sauce it's mixed but my plate is empty as proof, that's how good it was. Thumbs up to the chef

Our first time dining to this place. Crystal Springs Tavern is definitely the place to check out! Its good taste, service, & the excellent vibe was pleasing. Our group of "30" occupied half of the place and everyone's plate was full in the beginning with good food but all emptied at the end. Every bite was delish! The mussels are a must try and of course their famous Fish & Chips! Kudos to the Chef/Owner

Found this place on Yelp. The location sounds familiar but the pics look different. This used to be a different restaurant before. It wasn't too good when I came here then. Since new owners, I figured I give it a try. Seems they opened only recently. Not bad at all. Reasonably priced for now and decent portions. More importantly, food was tasty. Wish it was a little more upscale inside. The service was only okay. The young waiter was definitely brand new. Maybe even first waiter job. You can tell he was very nervous. I definitely come back again on a hot day and sit outside the outdoor area is still there.

Lively, service was great! We had been wanting to try for a while, our friends suggested for a double date night! The food was quite tasty too, we tried the burgers and fish & chips! I had a great Vesper Martini.

We ordered the ceviche ($21), papas bravas ($11), kale salad ($17), salmon ($35), and seafood pasta ($34). The ceviche was fresh and I really liked the citrusy notes (it was quite tropical and I thought it was possibly passionfruit?). The papas bravas was a decent sized serving and came with an addictive sauce. The kale salad came with a piece of fried feta and the only fault I found with it... was that I wanted more fried feta bits! Salmon was cooked well, and I liked the accompanying veggies - seemed like a very healthy Mediterranean dish. The seafood pasta was also very good. Husband said the fish in his dish was cooked even better than mine. Lastly, they offered us a whole complimentary dessert. We were already beyond stuffed at that point, but who are we to turn down a coconut creme brulee? Another review said they couldn't taste the coconut, but it's definitely there. It's not overpowering, but it's a good balance.

I would get it again, but if I wanted a paella, I wouldn't come here. But if I was here, I would try the paella. The rice wasn't that flavorful, and I wish there was more meat and not just seafood in the paella. The salmon was a little strange, and they had very large chunks of salmon in there. I didn't think it really fit the vibe of the paella. Also, it was really wet of a paella. The patatas bravas left more to be desired. I thought they were cut too large, so I felt like I was eating potatoes and not patatas bravas. I didn't get the Greek fries, but the waiter walked past with some, and those looked better, so I would probably recommend that instead. It was pretty empty. I came on Friday, July 3rd, holiday day, for dinner, and was able to get seating no problem. They had a few TVs where they were playing the World Cup.

There was a private party happening in the garden on the night we went. We sat indoors at a table. We opted for the chef's tasting menu. Since there were six of us the menu was served family style. That was fine with us. The presentation was beautiful. There were five courses in total. Some of them had a choose two option, so there was plenty of variety. We also didn't finish each course so we had a nice second go of the meal as leftovers. One thing that really stood out to me was with each dish, the restaurant did a terrific job embellishing the dish with added nuts or sauces. That showed extra effort but the kitchen. The first course was the mezze platter. There was no choice here. It came with warm pita, green hummus, baba ghanoush, and muhamara. I loved the green hummus and baba ganoush the best. Try not to fill up on the bread. It's really soft and warm so it's hard to stay away. The second course was a beet salad with greens. There were different varieties of beets. This was a nice and refreshing salad. The third course was a selection of two kebabs. We got the mushroom and shrimp kebabs. Both were delicious and came with great sauces on the side. For our fourth course, we got to choose two dishes for the table. We chose the half chicken and the rack of lamb. The lamb was an up charge, but so worth it. It was delicious, as was the chicken. I didn't expect much from the chicken dish, but it was so flavorful!!! It might have been the best chicken I've ever had. The lamb was delicious too. I loved the green chutney and yogurt that came with the dish. For dessert we got the baklava sundae. It was a nice twist on the traditional dessert. That one we polished off. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated the attention to detail with every dish.

The honey mint mojito came in a cute bear glass and was just the right amount of rum, a little tarty but once watered down was good. It was 40 min before they came to take our orders, I had to call them over and I had to get up and go ask for our check when we were done. It was not busy, we went for lunch on a Thursday and we had reservations, but still there were plenty of open tables so there wasn't an obvious reason for not tending to the table. The food looks fabulous, but the price and taste do not match up. The fish from the fish and chips was literally wet, like dripping. Not oily, wet like water. The chicken for the chinese chicken salad, tasted "off", I have no other way to describe it. While it wasn't the worst food, it was not worth the wait nor the price.
