We came to Ghostwood Kitchen few weekends ago and had a relaxing time! It was fun for the little kids to walk around and play arcade games. We were a table for 10 so we got the space in the arcade room which was perfect for us! I like that we can order through their QR code website and we don't have to worry about splitting the bill. My husband and I ordered the Ghostwood Smash Burger! Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of it but the patty was super juicy and delicious! Also ordered a side of salad which was decent. Truly amazing spot. It was fairly slow. I'm a big advocate of fast service. Once they got to me after sitting at a bar with 4 other people for more than 5 minutes i was able to get my beer, cool. Video games here are geared towards 7 and up, food here is geared towards 10+. Not the best place for toddlers. My burger was SENSE-A-TION-AL. Tons of avocado, perfectly seared thin patties, everything was legit. My nephews, both in high school loved the basketball and foosball. I was a big fan of the food. All i wanted to do was drink my beer and eat my burger but they wanted me to do so much shit with them. First time , I love the game room they made after taking over the business next door! The order and pay at table with QR Code worked so smoothly , I had a house made cocktail and I was tasty my partner got a pint of the Luz , actually had 2 , we ordered the fried shrimp and the roasted Brussel sprouts. So we as a family have eaten here multiple times and tonight was the night I had a change in experience. Food was good but burger was massively oversized for the buns. Bottom bun on burger basically melted into paper, results messsssy mess. Drinks were ordered but showed up after the food finally showed up. They had forgotten to make my old fashioned, when it did show up it was made incorrectly. I promptly returned it and wasn't charged... but was a little disappointed. I went here because the burger place near my dad's is shut down temporarily due to a fire. It was a bit out of the way to go downtown RWC, but I was pleasantly rewarded! Honestly should've written this a year ago but that's my fault. This place excels at everything. The beer is great, the burgers are fantastic (even the sliders, which most places half-ass, are the same top quality), the mac and cheese with chicken bites is phenomenal, the salads (yes, SALADS) are amazing, and the sides are all wonderful (always stuck trying to pick between tater tots or cheese curds). Service here is never been great. Visited here with my 75 year old MIL, 6 year old son and husband over the holidays. We grabbed a high top because there were no regular tables available. When there was a four top available, we jumped on it, but it only had three chairs. Two other chairs were being used by the manager (who happened to be drinking a beer) and another employee eating their dinner at the bar in the handicap area by the kitchen. We asked if they could procure one more seat for our party, but they said no, none were available. It was kind of frustrating. Even the manager did not give up a seat for a patron. The food is hit or miss (burger, sliders, and wedge salad are yum; nachos are big but served cold). My biggest pet peeve is that most of the chairs don't have backs.
