So sad to be making this review but I think it's worth it to warn others. I came in on last Wednesday afternoon (it's now Sunday AM) for a gel pedi and mani. I've been here a small handful of times for regular pedicures and have had zero issues other than maybe a small nic when the tech was cutting away dead skin. Anyways, to cut a very long boring story short, my manicure lasted about 2 whole days before lifting on all nails. One of which completely lifted and I had to peel away. My pedicure was also probably the worst I've had, as I showed the tech a picture of a French tip with a very thin line; he asked numerous times if it looked okay and politely kept repeating myself as the line was extremely thick. I ultimately gave up because I repeated myself 6+ times to go thinner. I spent almost $100 on pretty straight forward services and left feeling very disappointed. I unfortunately will not be returning. read more

I had a last minute opportunity of being kid free for a couple hours and I haven't had a pedicure in a year. I remember coming to Crystal Nails once maybe 2 years ago and it was pleasant so I figured I'd see if they could squeeze in a last minute walk-in pedi. I arrived at 6:10 and they close at 7. Tiffany (great name right?) was happy to help me, and she was heaven sent. She had her work cut out for her, as I'm LONG overdue but she took her time, was very professional and polite and really treated my feet well! I have tried this business on 2 different occasions over the span of a year and I can say I will never return. The workers are so judgmental, not friendly, they make it a point to make you feel uncomfortable and to know they are talking badly about you amongst one another in their own native language (more than a typical nail salon). This facility is not very clean, I feel as they might need a health inspection. The man who works at the front desk is not friendly and ignores people depending on their race. I once had a set appointment with 'Kim' and when I arrived they told me she was already helping someone and refused to help me. During one of my visits I was there I saw 2 very young females around the age of 14-16yo and it seemed as they were working against their own will as they were sold to the owners or something, I don't know if thats too far of an assumption or what but their behavior made me feel VERY uncomfortable! I've been going here for a year now and things usually went fine.. but this was pure negligence. Not to mention they cracked a day later. I go back to get the crack in my nail fixed and try to mention the fact that she didn't even get off all of my brown acrylic from the last set to the manager working the front and he puts his hand up in my face and says "she'll help you" before I could even finish. (I was being very polite). He was very disrespectful and they didn't offer to fix the full set. It shouldn't have happened. She knew what she was doing and I would've said something at the moment but I was "trusting the process" until it was done. And it took WAY too long for me to ask her to redo it that day. I'm giving 3 stars because there are a few people there that are good at what they do. However whenever I've requested one when scheduling my appointment I don't get that person. Today was the last time. My toes are not the color I asked for and my fingers.... She tried to do what I requested but couldn't get it. She even put polish on the sides of my nails. I about fell over watching. My nails are different lengths and she put so much alcohol on my fingers I had to come home and put oil on them. Personally I do not correct them because that just takes longer and if they can't get it right the first time I'm not willing to sit there for them to keep trying. read more

Went in on Tuesday 2/15 not expecting it to be crazy busy, but it was. The lady doing my nails apologized a million times because they were short staffed, I told her a million times it wasn't a problem! Let me start by saying I hate going to the nail salon, I usually do my nails myself since COVID... but I had run out of polish and was in desperate need for a mani/pedi! Anyway, the selection for dip powder is basically nonexistent, so I went with boring white... whatever. By the time the woman was shaping my nails I was too distracted by the woman scrubbing my feet that I didn't realize she was going full 90's square on me... me being non confrontational... I figured once I get home I can round them bad boys out, no big deal. $100 later my toes looked cute and my nails were "meh". Last night Wednesday- a mere 30 hours after my manicure- 2 nails POPPED off in the middle of my shift! I'm super annoyed and am again reminded why I do my own nails. Saves me time at the salon and if a nail pops off at work I can't be mad because I didn't spend a ton of money at the salon getting them done. Needless to say I will be sticking to doing my own nails from here on out. read more
