As a full time working mom I struggle with feelings of not spending enough time with my young boys on a daily basis but one aspect that has helped me tremendously is seeing how much my son has thrived in Creme's environment. My older son has attended Creme since 13 months old (he will soon turn three) and when I compare him to when he first started and how he is now, it's hard to believe he's the same kid. I know a daycare environment typically assists children in developing social and interpersonal skills, but I believe my child has become a joyful and confident child primary because of Creme's incredible staff; my son can sense that the Creme staff truly care about him. From the receptionist to the teachers to the directors, these staff are very bright individuals, have deep experience, and they are passionate about their kids. The facility is top notch (separate rooms for each discipline) but what matters more than the state of the art equipment is that they have people who truly understand how to cater to each child's needs and have the empathy and intuition to help them grow. My son has currently transitioned up to three different classes and each time he transitions I get concerned that his next teacher won't connect with him as well, and every time I'm pleasantly surprised. Each teacher has impressed me. It's evident that the Directors at Creme hold a very high standard and are extremely picky in who they hire. I have also been very pleased that the Directors and leadership at the school are very knowledgeable and are approachable themselves, and I have turned to them many times with parenting questions. I am not an easy mother to please and did extensive research on many facilities prior to enrolling my first in Creme, but based on my experience my younger son will start attending Creme soon as well. I look forward to seeing how he thrives like his brother. It's a great feeling when you find someone who opens up the curiosity and builds the confidence of your child; it's an amazing feeling when you find a group of people who do that. read more

My twins have been at Creme since January 2013 at age 6 months. These are our first two children and we could not imagine a better place for them to learn and grow. The facilities are top class: classrooms, a gym, full kitchen, outdoor waterpark, music room, library, and so on...almost like a mini-village which is what the inside looks like. The hours are expansive--6:30 - 6:30--and easily accessible off Willow Road and the Glen Metra station. The infant room is well-staffed with helpful and caring teachers, who were great for a set of new parents. At six months we had a set of parent-teacher conferences where we learned about how the twins are spending their days, what skills they are working on, and how they are progressing. As they learned to walk, they transitioned into the toddler room. The twins have made friends whose eyes light up with shrieks of joy when they enter the room. They have mat time, reading, learned to eat at a table, and love running around the gym. Every evening at pick-up, we receive a daily report on food, excretions, skills, mood, and how they spent their day. The twins love going to school and we have built great relationships with teachers and staff. We are confident that our children are in good hands, are being challenged and learning--as opposed to just played with--and have no regrets with our selection of Creme. read more

Here are some of the MANY reasons you should NOT work at creme de la creme! 1)Ridiculously short staffed (when I started at creme they had over 40 employees and now they have less than 20!!!!) 2)The directors are fake AF (for example; they tell you your hours will be this time to this time and we will work on getting you out on time... LIES!! Doesn't matter if you have plans after work because they just assume you'll stay!) 3)Need to go to the doctor? Not gonna happen! The directors favorite words are, "There's no coverage" and "You have to find your own coverage" Last I checked it is the directors job to find you coverage!! 4)Need a bathroom break? Been holding it for hours? That's just too bad!! God forbid a director steps in to give you a bathroom break so... Bladder infections for everyone!! 5)Need a vacation or just ONE DAY OFF?? Yeah that's not happening either!! 6)But don't worry... The directors like to play favorites so Maybe just kiss some serious a** and you'll get whatever you want! 7)Creme de la creme is a lot like high school and the directors are the bullies/mean girls. If you're not "pretty" enough or "cool" enough then you pretty much don't matter 8)Here are some other words the directors like to say a lot. "Our doors are always open, you can come to us for anything" LIES!!!! That's it... For now!! read more

Creme has been a great school for our family over the past two years. My kids are always happy to walk through the door in the morning and are bubbling with excitement to tell me all of the things they did throughout their day. Education-wise, this school encourages curiosity and prepares students well for kindergarten and beyond. All of the teachers and staff are very nurturing and know my kids and me, and address us by name every day. Pros: High-quality education Multiple enrichments and specialty classes Large facility - big classrooms, and a huge indoor gymnasium (definitely a bonus in the winter) Large outdoor play space with water splash pad for the summer Kind, nurturing staff Friendly atmosphere with many special days and family activities throughout the year Close to the Metra Cons: High teacher turnover - something I hope they actively take steps to address Limited digital communication but always willing to communicate in person Overall, we've been happy. There are bumps in the road every now and again, but the management is receptive to feedback and I believe are actively trying to make the school a better place for everyone. read more

Agreed with latest reviewer on many points including menu and high teacher turnover (for most classes)- way more than other daycares in the area. This led to a lot of problems for our child's care along with untruthful behavior from management and corporate. A lot of families have left as well as teachers who were not happy. Do some fact checking of your own (versus accepting management's word) which is what we should have done. Other issues: -tv shows were considered educational and apart of "computer" time. - every issue had an excuse to it or a lie that was made up and later we found out the truth -they logged food but incorrectly- an issue if your child has an allergy -disorganized which made them overwhelmed and have a lack of communication -menu- they gave out menus monthly but they were never correct with what was actually given. Management said it was shortage from a vendor- this was happening for the last year and seems like they need a new vendor. The good: my child was learning (we assume since they didnt log activities) and when a good teacher came, my child thrived but due to the turnover, it didn't last long. read more

Creme has a wonderful loving staff who truly cares about the children they work with. They foster social skills in children and foster academic skills as well. My older son started at Creme as an infant and he is now so social with both other children and adults. He learned so much and was given many opportunities to learn at his own level so he was ready for public school. He was excited to go to Creme every day and it was often very challenging to get him to leave by the end of the day. He loved having Spanish, art, music, movement, and gym time. My other son, an infant, has just started at Creme and is already so happy. He feels so loved and the infant teachers have such a way with the infants. They are very nurturing, have high energy levels, are very creative (they do art projects!), and overall just genuinely kind and loving people. The administration is always readily available to answer questions and help when needed. The cost of tuition is quite high, which is a negative, but truly you get what you pay for. What I have seen from my older son and already from my infant it truly is worth the money. read more

My child has been at Creme de la Creme in Glenview for just over a year and it has been wonderful. The teachers are well organized, and always interacting with the children. My child has grown so much since he began at Creme, and I cannot wait to see how much more he will learn. I have an older child, who did not attend a Creme school when he was yonger, but I wish I knew about Creme back then. I enjoy that children are not cooped up in the same room all day, they get to rotate/stretch there legs a bit more. The overall inside and out of this place is amazing! When you walk into the school you are greated with a smile, and a "Good-morning/Good-evening!" very welcoming, in my option. I can't speak for other families reviews, everyone is entitled to their options, but I would say see for yourself, I did, and I am very happy. read more

We are a returning family and this time around, we are extremely pleased! We had our son enrolled 7 years ago and left because we were not receiving the quality education that we were paying for or was promised. Ms.Kesha, the director is a vibrant addition to this center. We came back in January with our youngest and cannot imagine choosing any where else! She has made our transition great and she genuinely cares for each and every person that walks through the door. Having a gem like here in the heart of a childcare center is a very rare find. She leads a team of wonderful teachers who we entrust with our child implicitly. The changes that have been made and established since my first encounter with Creme has been extremely gratifying. read more

My 3 year old, Grandson has been attending, Creme de la Creme since 03/2017. I am very pleased with the advancements he has made in his classes. He is a very social and active little boy and he loves coming to school. The staff has been great and is very much involved with making him/us feel happy and comfortable.
