He gave me a quote for the project based on the information and photos I provided, which was spot on to the final cost. These guys are absolute pros and will be our HVAC vendor for life. When my wife and I bought our house, we needed to replace the entire HVAC system (the previous system was too big for the house...who'd have thought?). I can't write enough superlatives about how great Jimmy and Tom are. They are incredibly responsive to calls, very knowledgeable about HVAC and the products, quick, efficient, respectful of our home, and they made an otherwise daunting and overwhelming project painless and simple. We closed on the house in January, and they were on-site installing the new furnace within a week. I asked about the AC, and he said that it was too cold for installation at that time, so he would mark his calendar to get back in touch to install the AC and all components in the spring. True to his word, I never had to follow up. He got back in touch in April and asked when he could come out to finish the job. Even during the prolonged cold snap in December 2017, our furnace started acting up, and he was responding to my emails almost instantaneously. Just this morning, he offered to come to my house to adjust the air pressure in the fan to see if we could get more air flow to certain parts of the house. Super fast. Super honest. I called them originally to clean my furnace. Jimmy explained, in detail, why I needed a new one. He actually went around the whole house to get a sense of what rooms were too hot and too cold. I panicked at the cost (furnaces and a/c units aren't cheap) and got three other estimates. Jimmy seemed trustworthy, so I asked him to explain the differences between what he was suggesting and they were. In layman's terms, and then in technical terms, he explained that why what they were offering wouldn't work, and that they'd just end up charging me more down the road. He got a new furnace here in a day, and I'm 1000x warmer and the air flow is so much better throughout the house. My furnace went out on a cold winter evening, approximately 8:30pm. I used the request quote feature on Yelp describing my issue, and Jimmy from iTemp Heating and Air Conditioning responded within minutes with a price quote and next available appointment time for the following morning, which I confirmed with him. Shortly afterwards, I received another message from Jimmy informing me that he had a cancellation and could be at my home in about 45 minutes if that worked for me. I asked if that would change the price, since it would be considered an after hours emergency call by most HVAC companies. Jimmy informed me that they never charge extra for after hours emergency type calls. I confirmed the new appointment with Jimmy, and he arrived at my home like he stated at agreed to at approximately 9:45 pm. Jimmy was extremely nice and professional. He put on boot covers as soon as he entered my home without me even asking so as to not track snow and mud in. He assessed the furnace, and had the problem fixed in about 15 minutes. He took the time to explain to me what the issue was and showed me how I could possibly resolve it myself in the future (a high limit error that did not require new parts), as he further explained that the issue had a somewhat high probability of reoccurring (basically, I have an old furnace and until I get a new one, the problem may come back). I could not be more satisfied with Jimmy and iTemp Heating and Air Conditioning. I cannot recommend Jimmy and iTemp heating and air conditioning enough. Anyone that has boiler heating will tell you that it isn't easy finding a reputable and knowledgeable company that will work on them without messing anything up. When I needed a boiler service (it of course happened on a Saturday...at 5 PM ‍) Jimmy answered the phone even though he was out of state. As if that wasn't enough he patiently talked to me and then FaceTime'd me so that we could figure out what was wrong with the boiler together and whether or not it could wait until his return on Monday. The issue could not wait so I ended up having to call a different company but words cannot express how thankful I am that Jimmy took the time to really educate me on what the problem could be.
