The administration is always available to answer any questions and is so involved with all of the kiddos, which is impressive on top of all the other work they do. His teachers are incredible and provide frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which we absolutely love. We also love all of the activities they do and how they take the time to teach the little ones a variety of subjects. It's comforting to see how happy our little one is throughout the day and how much he's learning. Our guy also loves the food and eats so well there! We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Primrose East Mesa to any family looking for a caring, safe, and supportive school.

We experienced multiple serious safety incidents involving our toddler at Primrose School of East Mesa. Despite months of trying to work with leadership, the issues were never resolved, communication was inconsistent, most incidents were communicated to us parents-to-parent and when we asked leadership about what happened their response was "who told you" over prioritizing resolution. We were ultimately forced to unenroll for our child's safety. We were also given conflicting explanations and very limited follow-up from administration. I'm sharing this so other parents can be aware and ask the important questions before enrolling. Our kids deserve transparency, accountability, and safe care every single day and in our experience, that's not a Primrose priority.

Our daughter has come home learning everything…read morefrom colors, manners, numbers, Spanish, songs, and her social emotional skills have SKY ROCKETED. I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. But if you are a nervous mom, or want an honest take, please ask penny for my number and I'd be happy to walk you through how they made this experience incredible.

From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell the team really loves what they do. Our main teacher is always so happy around the children, you can feel her joy, and it really stood out compared to other places we toured. All the teachers are kind and smiling, and they take the time to connect with both the children and the parents. It's such a warm, supportive environment. Literally everyone is so nice! Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. They've also been incredibly flexible, willing to work with us to make sure our child feels comfortable, whether that means bringing a favorite stuffy from home or making food & drink accommodations. They even have an easy, healthy lunch ordering system, which has been such a plus for our busy mornings. There are always fun activities and themes planned, plus special events like Splash Days and the petting zoo! We get daily updates (naps, meal times) and photos, which we look forward to every day. Our child is always excited to go, and it's clear the other children are happy too. This location has such a cozy, close-knit feel, and the whole team is just wonderful. We're so thankful we found this place, it truly feels like a second home. Special thank you to Ms. Sydni, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Maressa, Ms. Diane, Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Jazmine, Ms. Mahjoba, and Ms. Penny, you've all made such a difference for our family

I…read morewitnessed the most disrespectful and abusive behavior towards not only staff but the children as well. I have been face to face and verbally told negative things about several parents and children coming from management and teachers. They put on a fake face for every parent that walks through the door, no matter how good their relationship to the daycare was. The children and myself were treated terrible by several teachers there and when I notified management nothing was done. My 2 year old niece, who used to attended, was being kissed on the lips by the 2 year old lead teacher, in balloon room. It was reported several times to each and every management member. The teacher was allegedly told not to do it, but it continued. My niece kept coming home with bruises in the same place, her rib cage. When her mom asked the 2s room lead teacher she couldn't even get her story straight. She claimed it was big legos, each time, but her bruises were small (a thumb sized circle bruise) and always in the same place. This happened about 3 times. Her mom or I were not notified of all her bites, bruises, or scratches. Management was notified about every incident, and their response was "we have never had a problem with this teacher", which was the same thing I, and several other staff and parents were told. The 2 rooms teacher has pulled children by their hair, clothing, and aggressively by their arms/wrists. The now 1s room teacher has called children, and their parents, abusive language names. She has also thrown big bean bags on a baby to drown out their crying. There is a floater there who is extremely condescending, and aggressive. There was an investigation with AJPD on this center, and disturbingly no charges were pressed. Management there is not true management. They disregard every incident, and do not enforce any true behavior rules on the teachers. They do not send children home sick right away, I had to tell them multiple times that a child was over the 101.1 limit, and they thought it was due to me "not cleaning my room" (WHICH I ALWAYS DID) but in reality it was due to them not sending home contagious children who were sick. The entire school has several violations to state regulations. The infant playground was unusable, and the toddler playground had multiple sharp pieces and unsafe playground equipment. They are extremely insensitive and uncaring. When asked to pick up my niece for her and I's grandfather's funeral I was sent a very long and disgusting message saying no, because I dropped her off 1 morning after leaving the center. How immature for an older lady. I am on her sign out card and emergency contact card, there was absolutely no temp/perm. injunction. So I was legally allowed, but refused to go because I knew they would start a huge ordeal. Everything written in this review is TRUE, and I do hope that you really take this and other 1 star reviews into consideration before enrolling or applying for a job at this center.
