I wasn't in a rush but it just felt way longer than you should have wait for something like this. I enjoyed it just fine...but for the time it took, it didn't come off as anything special. Unfortunately, the staff turns over frequently so you occasionally end up with cooks who don't know how to cook eggs to order, or more recently waffles that just aren't cooked through enough. The area surrounding the restaurant is a bit weird, with a Wal-Mart next door and a sketchy motel right behind, all of which share a main drive in. It's hardly the type of area that gives you a sense of safety. I've never had any trouble, but it is concerning when reports come from that area like a shootout in the restaurant or sex trafficking bust at the motel.

She just stood there, fixing bottles, made eye contact with me and still chose to pay us no mind. We felt discriminated against considering the fact that she helped every other table but us. I asked for the manager and let her know how we sat there for 20 minutes before anyone greeted/acknowledged us and as an apology we got donuts. I paid attention to every single person who sat down after us and witnessed the difference of how they were being treated compared to us and it just validated how we felt, uncomfortable and awful.
