My husband is obsessed with nutella crepes, so it was his mission to eat a crepe before bed every night in Paris. This was our first stop, on our first night and it was AMAZING. Crêperies seem to be everywhere in Paris, but if you're nearby, this one is worth visiting. The atmosphere is cozy, but if you find it a bit snug, come on a nice evening when they're serving outside. They have a nice assortment of galettes and crêpes with delicious fillings. The galettes are bigger than others I've seen, so come with your appetite. If you don't care about special ingredients than this is your deal. Unfortunately crepes are not made to satisfy you if your hungry, but they are delicious. This place is usually packed and it's the typical Parisien kind of restaurant - tiny tiny. So don't go there when you carry tons of bags. read more

This restaurant was close to where I was staying. So, I decided to check it out for dinner. There were lots of locals eating at this place which is indication that the food might be good. I didn't have to wait to sit down or to order my food. The waiter was very attentive. I ordered coffee and the Popeye Crepe which comes with spinach, bacon, egg, and creme. Afterwards, I ordered sweet cider. It was nice and cold! I really enjoyed everything and the crepe was a good portion for one person to eat. It can definitely be split by two people (if you're​ not a big eater). I would like to go back and order a sweet crepe. There were people who actually ate a salty crepe and then a sweet one. A friend of mine lived in Paris a few year's ago and said she went to Creperie des Canettes every day for lunch for a week straight. That was enough of an endorsement for me! My Popeye crepe was really tasty but the clear winner at the table was the dessert crepe that we shared - warm caramel, sliced almonds and fresh chantillymy mouth is watering just thinking about it! Delicious crepes! I look forward to a visit here each time I come to Paris. The vibe is bustling and casual with a nautical theme. Prices are quite reasonable, so it's a great alternative to the fancier places if you're walking around St. Germain des Prés. I think it would also be a cool spot for a casual date. Last time I ate here was a stormy night, and it had the same cozy feel of being safe and warm in a sturdy boat on wind-tossed seas. Everything I've had here is great. For dessert, I recommend trying one of the crepes en flambée. I had the one with Grand Marnier (an orange liqueur), and they light it on fire right in front of you. The vapors smell heavenly! I had the most amazing crepe here! I ordered the tuna salad crepe which is a delicious tuna salad, similar to a Nicoise on top of a perfectly made buckwheat crepe. We also ordered cider, which I highly recommend ordering as it really complements the crepes! This place is also really cute- it's not too large so it feels very warm and cozy. My wife and I ate here tonight for dinner and it was excellent. The feel of the place was also welcoming. It was a little cramped space wise but everything is so no deductions on that part. We each ordered a crepe as a meal and we shared a dessert crepe. We had the brehat crepe which had vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, salted butter, and toasted almonds. It was delicious!! Price seemed fair as well as it is not necessarily on the beaten path if you will. If you don't speak French it will be fine as the menu is also in English. I usually get the carmel and salted butter. Trust me this would be to messy to get on the street. It is the perfect balance between sweet and salty. The blueberry crepe is yummy as well. This creperie restaurant was a wonderful find, as it was located next to our hotel. We usually do not eat at restaurants more than once during vacation, but this place was so good we came back again. Staff was friendly and helpful, even with our minimal French. They even remembered us during our second trip. This seemed more locals than tourists, which attests to how good it was. Found this place by mistake getting lost in Paris. Had Sicilian crepe (tomatos, basil, ham, mushroom) & a sweet chocolate rum banana crepe. The rum crepe was on flames when it was placed on our table. Our service was great. Must try when you are in Paris! read more

I loved this place!! It was my 3rd attempt at finding the best crepe in Paris and this topped the list!! The place is very small and the service is similar to what you'd find at an old school diner. While some may be put off by these things, I find both of them charming. The most important thing is that the crepe itself was wonderful!!! I got the egg and cheese crepe, and the yolk was still runny when served. While that may bother some people, it was a real selling point for me. Unbelievable! If I could have licked the plate clean, I would have. Noticed that all finished plates were as clean as mine, so it's a safe bet others enjoyed theirs as much as I did. Been there twice and while on both times food was good service on the last time could be better. It felt as if they just wanted me to be done as soon as possible and the smiles they advertise on their menu were not present on the staff's faces to say the least.
