My building recently switched over to CSC machines and at first I thought "Oh how convenient, I no longer need to worry about getting quarters", little did I know. I now have to pay 3 times as much as I previously did because the dryers do not work. Not only are the machines more expensive for 15 less minutes, but nothing ever comes out dry (even if the load of laundry is on the small side) so I have to run the machines two to three times to actually have dry clothes. CSC supposedly sent someone out to look at the machines but the problem persists. If you are a building manager considering CSC for your building, pick someone else. Update: CSC this review is not me trying to contact you,I've previously reached out for service and it changed nothing. This review is for everyone else so they know to steer clear of your business and it's broken machines. If you request your money back via their machines, you often get a message stating they're unaware of any issues with the machine and ask you to call customer service. My building used this company for less than one month. The first time I used it everything was OK. The second time 1 out of 3 washing machines were supposedly in use...not so. They were empty. The dryers were not available on the app, but also not in use. I reported this to the company. No word. I also put $20 on the app and again, nothing worked. I applied for a refund and needless to say, never heard back. My building tried to get in touch with them and they did not reply nor send a repair person or reset the app. This company ripped me off for $20. I highly suggest not using this company. I live in a apartment building in Painesville, Ohio and the washing machine has been down for 10 days. People are wanting to wash their clothes including me. The coins need to be emptied out of the machine for it to work and so far no one has come. A man came here more than a week ago and just jiggled the coins around a little bit saying the machine would work about 5 to 6 more times but it did not. He was suppose to send someone to empty the coins but they haven't come. He said that he couldn't empty the coins because it wasn't his job. OH, brother! CSC "upgraded" our laundry room for our co-op several months ago by adding an app which allows us to check whether our machine has finished from the comfort of our apartment. That's nice, but the app frequently does not work when it comes to running the machines. Yesterday I put 2 loads of laundry in 2 washing machines. The app worked for those, but when I put the loads in the driers the app no longer worked. This was 40 minutes later, and the driers were 10 feet away from the washers. So I ended up bringing 3 weeks worth of wet laundry to my apartment to hang up. Since the "upgrade" I have had only one out of 4 laundry experiences in which everything worked for washers and driers. Apparently our co-op manager has been trying to work on this with CSC but has succeeded. I would NOT recommend CSC to other buildings looking for laundry service. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. My condo complex has 2 laundry rooms, and 1 has been down for a couple months for building repairs. So everyone has to use the other laundry room, and over the course of the last 3 months, we've gone from 6 out of 8 washers working to only 1 out of 8 working. All 100+ units in my complex are now using 1 washing machine. Why? Because CSC won't come to repair them. There is a note on the 1 broken dryer (in addition to the 7 broken washers) that says, "Out of order. I called on 6/30/21." Personally, I called on 7/28/21, because that sign was still there and now washers were broken, too. Then, starting mid-August, I've been calling regularly every week when I do laundry. Today marked either the 4th or 5th week of calling in a row, and I've about had it. Every time, they seem to have mysteriously lost all record of most of my previous calls, so they refuse to escalate the problem. Several times, I've been told that the technician didn't have access. FALSE. The lock doesn't work and the door stands wide open. Literally anyone could walk in off the street. Last time, I gave my phone number, in case maybe somehow despite my saying this MANY TIMES, perhaps the technician did not realize there are 2 laundry rooms. I got no call, and as usual, the technician did NOT come out to service ANYTHING in the 1-3 business days promised. It is now 9/29/21, so all this has been going on 3 months almost to the day. This is getting really ridiculous. I'm disabled and can't go off the property to use a laundromat very easily. I chose this complex to live in partially because it had a sizeable laundry room. If I'd have known how terrible CSC is at servicing their machines, I might have chosen to live elsewhere. It doesn't help that this is during a pandemic, either. Because there's a back-up at the 1 working machine, people have to crowd in at the end of the day, into one small room together. I have the option to do my laundry earlier in the day and I usually do, but a lot of people don't have that choice. This is not a mere annoyance; it is dangerous on a public health level. If they are referencing poor maintenance, being hung up on after getting a rep to say, "hello..."(only ever had 1 person actually talk to me successfully), overloaded coin boxes that take 2 weeks to service, machines that are down for 2 months, and trying to appear that they are top dog????? Just completed a 28 minute conversation with person answering 877-264-6622 (was transferred three times) and am no further now than prior to the call. Simple question: In our contract do we receive an annual PM (woman on other end of call asked what a PM was) on our 10 pieces of equipment? Response: CSC said they were OUT three times in the year, but she could not give me dates. Then, she changed it to CSC was CALLED three times. I am the Property Manager and did not call. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I also mentioned our zip code was wrong and she wanted me to fill out a form to change it. It is to CSC benefit to have the right address for the bill. Part of why I rented here at the Hammocks was because of the convenience of a laundry room, which is right NEXT to the office, so you are to believe it's part of the Hammocks responsibility. They had washing machines at our appartment complex.. i had bought a card and had put in 40 dollars... they lost their account with the complex.. has nothing to do with me . They did not issue a refund even though it was not my fault. They kept my money.. i think this is a scam and basically stealing peoples money. read more

This company is a fraud. They have loading machines that are just as likely to take your money as they are to load your card. Then a refund is near impossible to get back. The machines are NEVER serviced. And leak water all over the laundry room floor or just let water sit in them breed bugs. The scourge of apartment living. Every other time I go to do laundry the machines are out of order. Every time they go out of order it takes days to fix. I guess I'm the fool for waiting till all my clothes are dirty and then expecting to be able to wash them whenever I need. Heed my warning, if your building uses CSC Service Works, hoard a backup stash of clean clothes for when the machines inevitably break down. I cannot stress enough how awful my experience has been. I've worked maintenance and facilities based jobs for 20+ yrs. CSC is by far the worst vendor I've ever dealt with. I've never felt so compelled to leave negative feed back until I inherited these "service providers" last year. I currently work at a University where I am bombarded with complaints by students, student's parents, as well our president regarding broken and ill maintained washers and dryers. Customer service is negligent. Management is non existent. Work orders go unaddressed for weeks and sometimes months. If and when a tech finally does show up they close out work orders and tag machines they haven't even touched. There's obvious evidence (sometimes video) of this as machines are in the same condition after techs leave. Techs avoid checking in with Public Safety. I assume to discretely get in and out to avoid any efforts to monitor their performance. read more

CSC Changed all of the machines in my building in New York City and then handed us new laundry cards and informed me I could no longer use my old card which had $25.00 balance still on it. Using a CSC card is out dated and totally ineffienct. Their customer service comes off as careless and lazy. I went to the CSC machine in my apartment complex(because their app is so slow and useless) just to reload my card so I can use the laundry. The machine could not read my card so I called customer service. The rep sounded like she really didn't care about my problem. She asked me to reinsert the card and try again. When I told her I did and it didn't work, her response was: "We will send out our team to fix it within 1 - 3 business days. Is there anything else I can help you with?" I told her I needed to get this fix ASAP so I can do my laundry. She said okay try to input a code into the machine. She gave me a code and tried to get me off the phone instead of waiting for me to put it in while we were on the phone. I put the code in twice and it didn't work. Again, she said, "you'll have to wait 1 - 3 business days, sorry. Is there anything else I can do for you?" I asked to speak to a manager because I was really pissed off at how dumb this process is and how little she seemed to care at the fact that I now can't do my laundry in my complex until they fix this machine. She also did not seem to be able to just reload my card online. She told me, "We don't have a manager onsite, they are all in a meeting." please, Ive worked in sales before, that's a lame excuse to escape responsibility. Absolutely terrible service and support. A couple months ago, CSC converted our laundry room to their pay app system, and it has never worked correctly. The dryers go out of service DAILY, and all CSC tells us to do is submit a service request and a technician will show up some time some day. Our management person has to reset the system multiple times per day just so we can try to do our laundry, but I have had machines shut down even after paying to start them. Ask for a refund? I am an owner in a condo building of 56 units. After using CoinMach for many years, the Board signed a contract for new machines with CSC. There are 4 machines and 6 dryers. The 4 washing machines were improperly installed by CSC and do not service hot or warm water. We have only cold water--it has been nearly 3 months. The company has been unresponsive and has not repaired the machines. CSC ordered a new part at least 2 months into the installation. Who knows when this will be repaired. The installers also left holes in the walls along with damaged tiles, at the time of installation. I have never witnessed such bad customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

We are a building with 60 units in NYC. CSC has never been great...there are only three small, old washers and dryers, our machines still use quarters, they take their time on repairs, always leave a mess, and never send refunds. But a year ago, a washer broke and they decided not to bother to fix it. Then, two months ago a 2nd washer and a drier broke. We now have one washer and two dryers for 60 units! The landlord claims his hands are tied by his contract, and CSC claims the landlord won't let them replace the machines (Why? The only explanation I can think of is that a plumbing upgrade is required because the old machines pull less water, and that the cost would fall on the landlord. Who's lying? Probably both.). DO NOT RENT IN A BUILDING WHERE CSC IS THE LAUNDRY VENDOR! Note to landlords: I know most of you do not care about your tenants at a personal level, but these guys will lower the value of your property if you use them! read more

Doing laundry has become very stressful since my building got CSC machines. The app often glitches. When I call to report this, they tell me it must be a problem with my phone. I use coins to avoid all the glitching, but the machines often do not register the coins properly and I end up losing money. I have to call for a refund. If they do come out to fix the coin problem, they only empty one machine and not both (wouldn't that be common sense?), so I need to go back and place another service request. This company is a real hassle. Avoid CSC. Make life easier and go to a real laundromat. read more
