Not sure if she's doing it on purpose or what but it's very frustrating. Once you get passed vitals you have to wait for your name to be called which is about 30-50 min due to employees playing around . Once plugged in and done it may take up to 30 min just to get disconnected from machine . My last time donating it took me 3 hours . How on earth thins place still working is beside me . An hour to donate and an hour to check in and wait. -Stay away from late appointments and lunch times if you can avoid. -Eat and hydrate before. -Upload any promotions prior to donating -You can request a phlebotomist (Miryan and Summer are awesome) -Bring a blanket or wear warm clothes. -Checkin is a small prick, donating is a bigger stick but not bad. A customer complained stating that he'd driven over an hour. He said I can't control what corporate does and who they schedule. We have to go home and we have to be finished by a certain time. It's not our fault." SMH. And I JUST witnessed him nearly get into an altercation with a super friendly donor. I witnessed everything and there is something not right with this guy, Sebastian. Management should address and watch security footage. Please please PLEASE consider giving management/supervisory authority to individuals like Miryan, Summer and a lovely black lady with a beautiful Afro puff, I wish I knew her name. I appreciate they're professionalism, safe and swift service. I appreciate the new machines as they get you out quicker but you definitely feel it. I wish they would stock the center with hand soap and paper towels in the bathrooms. Also, masks would be great for clients and hand sanitizer at the questionnaire and vital station. No member of staff could say what was happening other than their systems were down. I asked for a manager who said I should stop asking questions (like did we have a time frame for any delay?) because it made her staff uncomfortable since they didn't know the answers: I said I had planned on a few hours but would like to know if I needed to reschedule. The manager shrugged. I called to complain and was rescheduled for another location. When I arrived and halfway thru the physical, I was told I was banned and all staff refused to speak further. If that's how they perform customer service imagine their medical skills!

Working remotely I now have an assignment in the Orlando area which facilitates reassuming my donations here locally. My initial interaction with a help desk gentleman at 609 N Powers dr. Was nothing short of unprofessional, unwelcoming and borderline hostile. I was told that my address verification letter which had a USPS date stamp for the previous week was unacceptable and I was additionally insulted and asked who was the letter sent by . Even if the letter was sent from Santa Claus, that was in no way reflective of company policy, donor eligibility requirements, or my personal privacy. This staff is grossly unprofessional, displays aggressive patterns, of behavior and treat potential donors as an inconvenience . As a verified donor I merely required a change of venue, not a hostile interrogation from an inarticulate staff member.
