Told me $100 for the first two visits. I go back for second visit they tell me nvm $40 this time. I walked out and will not be returning.

There process was so smooth and people were nice but they over paid me earlier in my new donor cycle than when it was time for my actual pay still as a new donor they were like hey your fine don't expect the money you should be getting. I went from my 125 to 50 dollars as some who budgets this really hurt me. I tried to explain this wasted a hour of my time on hold and was not given consideration. They don't actually care about their donors trust me I learned the hard way employee John told me order directly from manager Alexis. I been coming for for about a year and the people that are working here are amazing. They treat everyone with nothing but respect and kindness. I only had one incident here where one of the machines acting up and spilled and since they couldn't measure anything I couldn't donate for two months so that sucked but other than that great place to donate read more

3 stars, because I do like the techs and the employees do a good job. I started July 6 as a new donor, with the promise of $1000 spread across my first 4 weeks of donations. I went today (final week of said bonus period), and was shorted $50 on my deposit. When I called to ask about it, it was then that they informed me that because it's now a "new month" (August) I'm now considered a return donor and only qualify for $50 instead of my promised $100. Few problems - 1) why wasn't that communicated before taking my plasma? And 2) where is that shown in any disclaimer for new donors? Seems very sketchy to me, no communication until I called to ask? This is a management issue, and I didn't lay into the girl on the phone, because obviously it's not her fault. I'm curious to know how many people this has happened to. I will be collecting my final $100 (2nd donation of the month gets an extra $50, supposedly) and never returning again. Not a legit way to handle your business. To any manager reading this review -- you should be transparent and clearly post these "new policies" for your new donors to know exactly what to expect, instead of stealing from our pockets. read more

Everytime I come back to try to donate they tell me my vines are not showing and to drink water so I waited a few weeks before I went back and they are tellling me the same thing even though they can see my vines I know my vines are good because I donate blood with no problem this is the worse plasma center I definitely don't recommend read more

This center is very careless with new donors. Making people wait hours and do not take donors in by arrival order. I was waiting for a nurse since 2:10pm when three guys that arrived after me started an argument at the waiting lobby at 4pm. Instead of continuing trough the regular line, the nurse took the guy who started trouble in for a physical skipping trough everyone else. As if this was not enough, then the front desk messed the orders of the files and they started taking people in for physicals in a random order claiming there was no way to know who was first and that people were there since the morning, how is someone that arrived at 10am supposed to donate at 5pm? This shouldn't even be allowed. Total wait time was over 5hrs, and then they ask on the form what was the last time you had food intake. Completely pointless since they will make you wait hours to start donating and don't let you leave the building to eat. It was absolutely disrespectful. That is why this place has to compensate donors with a lot of money, because they cannot keep people coming back due to a bad service. How is someone who was treated like this go back for a second donation? Asked for a managers name and the front desk said she did not know.. how do you not know your center manager name? Go to Biolife instead. A smoother process, with good customer service, and actual care for donors. read more

This place is very nice, and most important clean! They wipe down the seats in between each donor. The customer service here is excellent! The overall vibe here is just all around pleasant! The people who work here seem to actually enjoy their jobs. They have seating, so you don't have to stand around to wait. I highly recommend coming here to donate plasma over other centers in the area. This one also pays better too! read more

2nd time donating and they forgot to compensate me...I say forgot because the first time was an hour and I went today to pay my phone bill and realized there's no money on my card a whole day later...plus they never updated my payment to my grifols profile either....I mean I'm grateful there's plasma place....but many robots taking over the world isn't a bad thing because at least I know they'll be punctual. NOW I have to wait for 8am to get my payment....even tho they have my plasma chilling waiting to be cashed in. Come on you guys read more

This is the most professional plasma center that i have ever been to. It looks more like an upscale doctors office. Its a clean and calm environment with excellent customer service. If you have the privilege to meet eddie from the oakridge location he has a velvet touch and a soothing demeanor that calm even the most nervous donor. Im really glad i found this place. read more

I have donated plasma for years then I moved here. The staff are slow (a process that took 1 hour elsewhere takes roughly 2.5-3 hours here.) I am not coming here again, if they aren't trying to be efficient and are just going to waste my time I don't see a purpose to come here. read more

They get a lot of traffic, so make sure you allot yourself time for waiting in line. That's not really their fault, though. They're just busy. Staff was mostly quick and efficient. First donation went smoothly, and the staff was excellent during my entire visit -- patient and exceptionally friendly. The second time I donated I think there were lots of new staff and things ran a little slowly and the person who drew my plasma didn't check on me at all or warn me when the needle was about to go in. The pay is very fair. The establishment was clean, except for the bathroom in the area where the plasma is collected. They have WiFi which is great and a place to charge your phone. The procedure itself was explained to me thoroughly and I knew exactly what I was in for. read more

It's unfortunate that this biomat refuses to encourage you to donate at this location. They treated myself and my friends with a game of maybes. "Maybe you can donate, we're not sure. You can't fill out info while you wait to see if you can." Nothing! This sort of treatment is unexcepable and a Plasma donation center. We are here to make some extra money for our day to day lives, but also to be a part of the process of making life saving medicine. read more

I definitely will not recommend this place. My appointment was set for 11:40 am to get tested for Covid-19 because I had the symptoms plus a few members of my family tested positive and i was exposed. I checked in online to speed up the process. When I arrived I was told I have to fill out paperwork again then go outside and wait to be called. I was told to give them an hour even though I made an appointment. I asked the clinic staff to run my insurance and was told that they would do that after I was called. I waited in my car for an hour, go back inside and asked Jasmine do I have to pay? She respond if your insurance does not cover the cost you need to pay $179 out of your pocket. I replied then you are supposed to run my insurance because if they don't cover I don't have $179 to pay. She replied you need to call yourself and verify. My understanding is that you need to know what your share of cost is, kept waiting outside for hours. After waiting few more hours I went back inside and they told me 5 people ahead of me so I go back outside. Around 3:45 I went back in, asked again they replied there is 1 person in front of me. Around 5pm they called 6 people including two friends of my family that were also waiting... by the way their appointment was at 12:45pm, an hour and 5 minutes after mine. I went inside and asked Irish "how come you guys didn't call me, that is 6 people that at least 2 of them had their appointment an hour after mine and that was after I was told there was 1 person ahead of me. It doesn't make sense. She started giving excuses and then she told me that I didn't need to tell her how to run her office and kicked me out of her lobby. I responded that obviously I needed to show her how to run her office because she was not following Covid-19 testing appointments in order and her office was very disorganized. read more

I want to respond to the negative review posted 3-20-2018. I have been a on again/off again donor here for a year and a half. The staff here are efficient, friendly, thorough, and respectful of donor's time. The few times here that things took longer then expected they have added a couple extra bucks to the payment. A 'first-time' donor here, as with other donor centers I've been to in Centl Fl, must understand that his or her first donation will take approx 2 1/2 hours or so b/c of additional screening, education, and phys exam. Subsequent donations take 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, which is typical anywhere. I have donated at four Centl Fl centers including this one over the past 2 1/2 years and this is the one I keep coming back to. read more
