Great little shop. I've waited an hour and a half at other shops just to get my rear tire replaced. Came in right when he opened and Chris replaced both my front and rear tires in under 30 mins. Some shops will use an impact gun on all the nuts and bolts and over torque them. But chris uses all hand tools. I'm very matriculate and picky about who touches my bike because my safety is my number one priority, that's why I dont go to alot of shops and just work on my own bike. But I needed tires really bad. I was satisfied to see what he did to my bike. He cleaned the axles and lube them, he also uses torque wrenches to torque down ALL the bolts and nuts down. I never seen any other shop that does that. The OTD price for the Dunlop Q3+ was fair everything included. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Great and fast service! read more

The cost of tires and mounting has gotten so ridiculously high in Santa Clarita, I decided to look into the San Fernando Valley for tires. The phone quote I received from the owner, Chris, was far lower than anything I could get in the SCV. I took my wheels into Chris and he swapped out the tires on my FLHX as I waited. He is also a Drag Specialties distributor and will beat most prices on anything they sell. He specializes in BMW, but will work on any bike. The rear tire on my 2007 VFR 800 went flat on me over the weekend, after an hour or so if research I settled on a set of Michelin Road 5. Called CT, they had them in stock and would take about 30 minutes to install. Took the tires off the bike and brought them down and got them mounted and was done in less than 30 minutes. Got a good price on mounting and tires. Chris is super friendly and will hook you up with great rubber. A little out of my way drove down from Santa Clarita, but worth the drive. Wow! Just, wow! Love the way this guy takes care of business. When I called to check their hours for a Friday, just before I hang up he says to me, "just ride safe and get here safe." I don't recall any business out there saying something like that to their customers. That alone would've gotten five stars from me. Then the cost for a new tire and rear brake pads were less expensive than anywhere else I priced. On top of all that, when we get my rear tire off, the ball bearings came dropping out because they were shredded. Since I had a plane out of town in the morning he lets me leave my Harley there over the weekend and gets everything all sewn up for me. If there were six stars he'd get that from me. I'm looking at all these great reviews on yelp for this shop and I gotta say, that is not the experience I had AT ALL! In fact, I couldn't have picked a worse place to take my bike, if I had tried! I ended up there on a simple google search, and I regret it 100%, especially when I am two blocks away from Hanks Tire, which I know is awesome, just wasn't sure they could do my Harley. I purchased my own tire online and brought it into CT's shop, thinking a simple rear tire exchange and possible brake pad should be about $100 and would take a half hour or less, so I did it on my lunch break. Huge mistake. About two hours into it, the shop owner said "I just don't know what else to do, I cannot get this tire on your rim. (I purchased the exact same brand, size and tread pattern, as the one I currently had on the bike, so it made no sense why he couldn't get it on the bike, but two hours in, with my boss blowing my cell phone up, I said "screw it, I'll go ahead and buy one of your tires, so you can get something on this bike and I can get out of here. So that put me back another $250. As he was installing the tire he sold me, he mentioned that if I also purchased a front tire from him at the same time, that I would receive a $60 rebate and that my front tire was wasted anyway. Well, my front tire is fine, but $60 sounded decent, so I said, "sure, go ahead and order it, but I can't get back in here until the weekend, I can't have this happen again" He assured me the tire would be there the next day (Wed) but that Sat. would be fine for install, told me to check my email and fill out rebate form when I got home, and handed me my final receipt from this horrendous stop, which was a little over $630.00 counting the front and back tires I ended up getting from him, the rear brakes, labor, etc. I got home, hopped on the computer and started filling out the rebate form, only to find that only one of the tires was eligible for the rebate, and it amounted to $20, not $60, which was the only reason I even entertained the front purchase. I wasn't surprised though. Based on the entire experience, I called ahead on Sat. morning, even though he said the tire would be in the next day. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about, and then finally said, "no it never came in, etc etc etc" I just went back into the shop, got refunded for the front tire and future labor I was charged for, and got out of there.
