Do not deal with this shop. For a place that claims to have great communication, it's surprisingly difficult for them to clearly state a simple requirement: they won't work on your bike if the wheels are still on it you have to remove them yourself. This should have been communicated upfront, not discovered later after wasting time. Meanwhile, Cycle Gear explained everything clearly from the start with no confusion at all. I've been going to CT Motorcycles for a couple of years, but today was the last time. I own three motorcycles and have spent a good amount of money there over the years. Unfortunately, the experience has been very inconsistent. Pricing seems to vary a lot, and the quality of the work has not been reliable. The last time they mounted tires on my bike, they installed one of them in the wrong direction. I brought it back and had them fix it. Today, the exact same thing happened again. When I noticed the tire was mounted with the wrong rotation and pointed it out, he initially insisted it was correct. The tire I use can be mounted on the front or rear, so it has two directional arrows on the sidewall--one for front rotation and one for rear rotation. My tire was clearly installed using the rear direction even though it was mounted on the front wheel. After going back and forth, he finally remounted it the correct way. Unfortunately, during the process my newly powder-coated rims were scratched. To his credit, he did say he would pay for the powder coating, but with attitude. I won't be coming back. He could have at least gave me the money for mounting the tires back. I'm also missing the valve cover. Now I need to pay for powder coating, new bearings etc. I'm more than mad. But More to the fact that he didn't want to solve it right there. When it comes to motorcycles and especially tires, I want to go to a shop I can trust to get the basics right. After multiple mistakes like this, I just don't have that confidence anymore. To make things even stranger, at the end I was told they no longer want to service my bikes because my tires are "too small." That's a pretty surprising thing to hear from a motorcycle tire shop. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the experience and won't be coming back. I cannot recommend this place at all. read more

He doesn't take the tires off motorcycles unless you take it off yourself I was told to remove my front tire so he was able to replace the tire. I have a 2022 Harley Davison rogue glide they are able to change the tire but only if you take it off your motorcycle. read more

CT was so fast at putting my tire on. I didn't even have time to go get breakfast. Small little shop tucked in the corner of a plaza with a bunch of other mechanics. He has a large selection of tire tires all along the walls. He checked the bike out just to make sure everything was OK and I got a great Michelin tire at a great price and he didn't charge that much for mounting and balancing at all. It was amazing really helpful tips afterwards to weave the bike back-and-forth and get the wax off of the rubber. I will come back here for more tires in the future. read more

Be careful if you go to this shop because for 1 he sells way outdated tires and even installed a front tire on the rear of my Harley! Also the same day he put new (or what should have been) on my bike not around 6 miles from the shop did my front one loose all air and didn't do a damn thing to help me handle the situation or the towing cost for me to even get it home and when I brought the wheel to him the next morning he said "Oh they usually take 1 pop when initially filling with air to seat them but yours took 2! I've brought 4 different bikes here over the last 8 years, I think 5 or 6 sets of tires all together. I like Chris & have wanted to refer business to him as well as continue being a Return customer. However I have to say the last 2 times I came to this shop, I was somewhat disappointed/discouraged & the last experience frustrated me to the point where I probably won't come back again. Look, I don't expect this guy to remember me even though I've been here 6 times before. But I've come to the conclusion that they just want to sell whatever they have In Stock & don't really want to help with any type of special orders or anything they don't have right there off the shelf... Two trips ago, I came in for some specific Continental TKC80's, Chris didn't have them in stock & did just about everything possible to try and talk me out of ordering the tire I wanted & to go with a Dunlop he had in stock. I had to damn near get into an argument with him & say, "look man, I WANT WHAT I WANT"... in order for him to finally agree to ordering the tires I asked for. Recently I came back, for probably my 6th time, looking for some tires for my Sidecar rig. Of course Chris doesn't remember me at all even after coming back 6 times (again, whatever no big deal)... but honestly was very Unhelpful in regards to finding any type of tire with a more vintage/square profile like I am looking for... obviously I have the internet & see that sidecar tires like this exist... but once again, I was only shown what was In Stock, "that's your only option" & told "you're never going to find what you're looking for"... I then asked, well what if I can find the tires online? Can I bring them here with my wheels? Response was "No, I don't mount other people's tires, you'll have to go somewhere else"... So one final time I say, "so you're pretty much telling me you can't help me at all, can't order anything, can't install anything I find?" He agreed and I left. Stay away from the Bead Balancing! Be careful! Very slippery business practices here. Called specifically about there balancing techniques. I was told that my tires would be balanced on track day setting. When I arrived to have my new tires mounted (purchased here) and balanced. Again asked about the balancing. Chris took my tires in the back, removed the weights. Mounted the new tires and put in some balancing beads handed the tire back to me "All done" What! I said? I thought you were going to balance them? how do we know if I have a bad tire or the balance even works ? Very skeptical, I said if this technique is so good, why doesn't the manufacturer use it and save money. "IDK" he said. I ended up trying the bead balance technique was talked into, and it was terrible! My bike handled terrible. High speed wobble and all. Ended up, taking it to a competent motorcycle balancer, who removed beads and balanced it correctly with weights. No more wobble no more problems. Do not recommend going to this place.!!! Nice guy until you question him, then all changes. He specifically told me he was going to mount and balance them on the machine and lied. In fairness after he calmed down and realized I wasn't stupid he said would rebalance them with weights, but no thank you. Went to MC Tireworks. He removed the beads, rebalanced with weights. Perfect 5 stars and my new go to tire shop. Note: update, to business owner response. If you're being honest, then you explain the two balancing techniques to the customer BEFORE not AFTER you do the balance and let the customer decide which one they want. You don't tell the customer you're gonna do spin balancing and then do the bead balancing even if you think it's better. What you did was not honest and you know it. read more

Best prices in town! Chris goes above and beyond the Call of Duty when it comes to service. Been coming to him since 2009 or so. He uses beads in your tires instead of the lead weights. Better for the environment, more reliable balancing. First come first serve. But usually no more than 1 or 2 people ahead of you. He also does Brake Pads and brake fluid! read more
