I'll make this quick. My clutch cable broke, my insurance would only tow to a shop, and not home, and they fixed the clutch beautifully, and they seemed like nice guys. They also did work not cleared by me, so it's a mixed bag. Pros: they were responsive via email, got the proper oem replacement part, and fixed my clutch cable issue perfectly. Cons: they didn't tighten the lock nut on my rear alignment bolt, it was about to fall off by the time I got home. They replaced my rear brake pads and bled both front and rear brakes without asking. I'll allow that most people would probably be OK with that if they don't work on their bikes, my only issue is they didn't ask me (and I have the pads, rotor, and brake fluid sitting at home). I'm not sure why they bled the front brakes- I bled them 3 months ago and they didn't even work on the the front pads. That said, I think that they did a fine job, and I won't give any small business a bad rating because it's hard to make it as a small business owner, but they did a good job, and at the same time, they really should have asked me whether to replace pads and fluids. I won't be back, but I know Benji reads this, and I hope they just let future customers know of optional services before just doing them. I had a fuel system problem on my 2000 Road King with the somewhat obsolete Magnetti Morelli EFI system. One mechanic suggested I ditch that system and carb my big hog but I rang up Ben at HiPro and he came out to my house and in about an hour he diagnosed the problem to an electric fuel pump relay switch that sits near the battery. Thought there may be other faulty wiring issues as well so I had him throw the bike on his truck and take it to his Tarzana shop for treatment. Two days later he had the bike polished up and ready to go with a new relay switch and a refined wiring connection that he discovered did not need replacement! It was quick and affordable, and Ben only replaced the parts that were faulty, nothing extra. Its so awesome to have a trustworthy and honest motor man that knows his way around a v-twin or just about any other internal combustion engine cuz he's a factory trained guy. But it was Ben's mobile service that sold me. He came to my house and diagnosed the problem right in my driveway. Told me what I needed to do to fix it and was ready to leave it at that. But because he obviously knew his stuff, I trusted Ben to make the repair for me because I knew he would do it right! Glad I did! Ben Miller is the man. Honest, skilled and detail oriented. BEWARE THEY ARE THE WORST MOTORCYCLE MECHANICS I HAVE EVER USED! Took my Harley in for a simple issue. They said they were experts. After weeks of nothing they said I needed a carb rebuild, electrical wiring, and other things. I went there and the bike wouldnt run! He blamed it on a bad battery and coil. The carb was missing parts and they used the wrong rebuild kit. Finally I wanted to get it out of there and they wouldnt release it unless I paid $1200.00 Since then I have found more problems they caused. Wrong hardware, stripped bolts. Exposed wires. I had to have the carb (S&S) rebuilt again. I have owned many bikes for over 40 years. They are the most incompentent I have ever seen!!!!!! read more

I arrived a few minutes after they had closed. Instead of telling me I had to return during regular hours they immediately began to work on my motorcycle. great shop. they did some quality work on my CB500 after i dumped it over on ACH last year. They were willing to work with me if i decided to go with insurance or do some smaller fixes if i wanted to go out of pocket to keep cost down, which was nice. Ended up going through insurance and the bike came back looking like new. Owner was very communicative and easy to reach over the phone any time i had questions. Location can be a little difficult to find since there is no signage and another yelp page shows they are on victory, which they are not. Topham is the correct location. Now that it's been a few months I need another tune up and I'll definitely be taking it to Hi Pro again. read more

I got my passenger foot pegs installed here on my Harley. Everyone working here is super cool and straight to the point. Benji was upfront and said that he might have to take the exhaust off to fit the pegs and it will cost extra. Luckily, he was able to install the pegs with specialty tools and without removal off the exhaust which saved me time and money. I was in and out of there less than 45 minutes. Benji does decent work but they're follow up after the work is done needs a lot of improvement. It's like after Benji takes your money he doesn't want anything to do with you. The guy initially seems and sounds pretty cool but if you pick at his brain a little his attitude gets a bit pissy. a good mechanic is like a good dentist. There arent many so if you're lucky enough to find one, you stick with em. I spent years going to all of the shops in Burbank and Hollywood. Everyone overcharges, and some of them dont even complete the job. Benji is a great combination of price and efficiency.
