I am disgusted by the choices of this business. The prices are all extremely hiked in a time when no one can afford anything. This is also about their wall of shame. They have someone on the wall who had "stolen a dinner", and made fun of that person. If someone had to go through the hardship to steal a meal, they probably needed it. Just okay kind of supermarket. In a pinch they work & if there is something on sale that I want/need then I'll go there. Fruit & veggies are always to be inspected. I would not buy meat there. read more

I am sorry to leave this bad review but I will never shop here again. They had bagged salad on sale with stickers covering the sell by or expiration date. Went on October 7th and peeled a sticker off to see it should be sold by October 5th. Also yogurts on the shelf way past the expiration date. The C Town on Metropolitan Ave is just as bad. I will stick to Met Food and Village Barn in Middle Village. VERY disappointing read more

This is your average everyday supermarket. Been here a couple of times - the vegetables (scallions, bell pepper etc) are just ok; edible but not the freshest. I feel like prices are slightly higher than normal supermarkets, but they do have a wide variety selection of products. Social distancing and mask wearing are enforced, staff wears gloves, the supermarket itself is decently clean. Highlight of Ctown: they sell chocolate flavored Oatly! This supermarket is hit or miss. They don't have a large product selection, but the produce looks fresh most of the time. However, prices are expensive for the area. I usually only buy discounted groceries here, when they have weekly specials. The store is well organized and it's easy to find what you're looking for. They accept credit card but charge an extra fee if your purchase is $10 or less. read more

They're more or less back to normal. I don't see any empty shelves. Fairly crowded. There are tons of slow-moving old people here. There's a good chance you'll get stuck behind someone who's counting out pennies. Their products are somewhat old-fashioned. Their meat prices are somewhat lower than other places. Produce is the same as it was in the past: average prices, but somewhat more expensive than the fresh produce store nearby; cleaner; not quite as fresh. read more

This is one of the various supermarkets found on 63rd Drive. Pricing can vary here from items being overly expensive to around the same price as neighboring markets The fruits and vegetables section is smaller in comparison to the other markets. Items which I have purchased and have been pleased with - selection of bread rolls - selection of pies & bakery items, including a sugar free apple pie - maple syrup - some veggies What not to buy?? DON'T BUY PURDUE CHICKEN!! As an example, on Sept 6, 2020 I bought a package of Perdue chicken thighs and drumsticks. The best before date was listed as Sept. 10, 2020. Once I got home, I placed the package in the fridge. Guess what, later that evening, the package was smelling so rotten, the stank was noticeable as soon as I opened the fridge. Thinking the chicken was salvageable, the next day (Sept 7) I started cleaning the chicken to use in soup. Mistake! As soon as I opened the packaging the smell was putrid. Even removing the skin was not enough. The smell was embedded into the chicken bones. Disgusting! $5 dollars down the trash. It's not the first time this has happened either. It's happened once before. Hit or miss. Save yourselves money and go buy your chicken elsewhere! read more

Card readers don't support Apple Pay. Had to leave $50 in groceries at the check out lane because of this. If they don't want to get with the times and accept contactless payments, it's not my problem. Smartphone payments have been around for a long time. Besides this, I'm really not a fan of this store or it's selection. The aisles are cramped and it just doesn't have a good atmosphere. Solid produce. I was able to find shallots, garlic, onions, lemons, limes, spinach, cilantro, and avocados. Everything was fresh and not over priced. This is what my sisters and I call "The Pervert Store." Why? Every time we pass by the store or enter it, there are always at least one or two male staff members who shamelessly check us out and talk about us loudly in Spanish. *Shudder* It doesn't take a genius to know what they are talking about. One of the female workers wasn't that kind or bright as well. One day, I helped my aunt deposit over $10 worth of bottles at this location. We took the receipts (the machine randomly printed out a receipt after a few bottles were deposited) to the cashier, who then preceded to cram the receipts into the register without counting them or ringing them up, and gave us $5. My aunt told her that we deposited more than $5 worth of bottles. The cashier's reply: took out all of the receipts from the register and told us to find and take out all of our receipts. Let's just say that we took pictures of the receipts after that and rarely shop there... read more

This is the only C-Town that doesn't help you bag your groceries. They help you bag your groceries only when they feel like it.

I really like this supermarket. Its clean, has everything youre looking for and the staff are real friendly. They have some international goods as well. Conviently located at 63rd drive train station and also has a recycling station. The manager is always around to help customers as well. Truth is, I'm just use to this market. I kniw the aisles up and down and its easy for me to navigate here. All the cashier girls are sweet and always polite too. Good selection of vegetables and meats. Would totally recommend! read more

This supermarket has great prices, a good boars head deli, not a very large produce section but everything is fresh and variety is nice. Dairy selection. A nice blend of international foods. The staff is helpful and polite. With so much fruit and vegetable competition on 63rd drive I understand why they focus on ccarrying a general stock and everyday items instead of having those giant produce aisles. So far I get whatever I need here all the time w out trouble. read more
