Pumpkin Pie Milk Tea with Pearls
Carina H.

The Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Tea was good, and I think it would have been even better if I had ordered it with boba. I think there was pudding inside this drink, which was creamy and reminded me of cheesecake. The drink was sweet yet savory at the same time. I just wish there was more strawberry pulp to balance out the cheesecake flavor with the strawberry flavor. On a Thursday evening, there was just one other group at the shop. I got my order shortly after I placed my order.

Thai Tea Latte

I got the Thai latte with boba. TERRIBLE DECISION. It is the most mid boba I've ever had in my life. I am so upset that I'm writing this review with drink in hand. I work minimum wage plus am a college student, this is a rare treat, HOW COULD YOU FUMBLE SO BAD?! Just tastes like milk with a bit of flavoring, did not look pretty like the picture, and the boba is FLAVORLESS!!!!! CANNED BOBA TEA TASTES BETTER!!!! I lowkey wanted to go in and ask for a refund but I'm too exhausted to, so in the reviews you go.

Dirty brown sugar milk tea with pearls

Every time I go to this location they screw up my order. I try my best to give them the benefit of the doubt since the employees are kind of young, but at this 0.5 visits and my order is still isn't right? I don't think so. I'm ordered a regular drink off the menu with 30% sugar, and pearls. Im thinking, what's so difficult about that? Sometimes, its the wrong drink, another time they forgot the tea. But yesterday's order was the most. As usual i ordered my drink 30% sugar and it was most definitely full sugar. The pearls themselves had no taste whatsoever. It seems like whoever made them forgot to add the Brown sugar while it was cooking, and just threw a bunch of syrup in the cup. I tried it after i got halfway home. I was livid. Don't do that to customers, think about the way you would like your drink to taste. I give up.

Clean establishment and fast service. We ordered a large Lychee Oolong with 50% sweetness with pearls. It was $5.75 but with tax it came out to $6.26. I love the customization and their pearls had a nice "qq" chew. Gong Cha is in great location when you need a pick-me up.

Earl Grey Tea with 3 Js

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located in Rego Park, they have their own store in the middle. It will satisfy your bubble tea craving! Service: I just ordered and go, no interaction. Food: I almost taste all the flavors but my favorites are: TARO: as always this is good! Taro with bubbles is great! THAI ICED TEA: this one is good too! Thai experience! EARL GREY with 3 J's: this is one of my fave because it has 3 jellies on it! DIRTY BROWN SUGAR: one of the newest flavors! It is good because not your usual sugar! STRAWBERRY TARO: good too, make sure only 30% sugar because it might be sweet. Price rating: 4 out of 10. It is so cheap! Well all recommended! But personally love the taro and earl grey with 3Js.

Passion fruit with boba/ Brown Sugar with pearls

Came here on a thirsty afternoon, stall is located inside the Rego Center mall, with seats outside the shop. Ordered a Brown Sugar Milk tea with white pearls, and it tasted really good. This is my first with white pearls rather than the usual Boba, and I don't think I'm going back to Boba anymore. My friend got the passion fruit tea and she liked it too. *Yelp check-in gets you a free topping of your choice. Overall, good place for an afternoon Boba drink

black milk tea with milk foam, no boba - medium

This Gong Cha location is conveniently located on the ground level of the Rego Center. The workers do a great job of making the drinks. Unfortunately this location runs out of items on the menu very often--the first time I came here, they were out of boba (along with about a dozen other things including taro and thai tea)! I've had better luck since then, but only because I'll go in the morning soon after they open. In the afternoon and evenings, I just go to the location in Queens Center mall instead.

Well done. I really enjoyed my drink. Taro is my go to flavor and it was really good here. I asked for pearls and coconut jelly. I will definitely try other flavors. Mera's Tip: choose a topping

Since I live across the street from this, it's super easy and convenient for me to get bubble tea from here. The shop itself is very small. There are only a few seats since this place is more of a order to go place. The staff works very quickly to get your drinks made. Customers used to be able to earn points by giving their number to the cashier. They are currently working on a new system so they have reverted back to the card and stamps. The cards are laminated so the stamps rub off pretty easily. I have had to tape over it to make sure that it doesn't come off. I always get a regular milk tea with tapioca and every time I have ordered it, it taste the same. No complaints about their tea. This is always a great place to go to get bubble tea since it's in a convenient location. I think it's one of the only bubble tea spots in this neighborhood since there aren't too many Asian cafes around.

Taro milk tea with boba 30% sweet
Sriya B.

This is a tiny gongcha in the middle of rego park shopping center. They are very compliant and aware of covid rules. In addition they are super quick and efficient. They always make sure to ask again what sweetness level you want since many people are unaware that it's something that can be requested. For reference 30% sweetness is actually pretty sweet. 50 is perfect for sweet lovers. Anything above May honestly be to sweet but to each their own :)

Small kiosk in the middle of the Rego Center Mall. Gong Cha is a worldwide chain that I have had before and it is a solid bubble tea place. The drinks here are well made with good flavor. The only downside is that their cups are a little smaller than other places at similar sizes - we're talking a couple ounces but it's noticeable. Also, they are not too cheap with most drinks in the $5 to $6 range. I recommend the brown sugar flavor.

So I'll just say it's because of that. I got the mango milk which I probably won't get again, it was okay. The egg tart was okay but I've had better. The service was good and the this one was more packed than the Fresh Meadows location.

This location shares the space with the hot pot next door. It's separated by a sliding door that is partially closed. The employees brings supplies via the sliding door. Why do I bring this up? At least during the time I went, it was quiet though everything the door opened it became noisy. When you are waiting for a while for your order, it's very noticeable. Have some patience or order online and pick up, my mango drinks took a little while since there were 4 customers ahead of me plus online orders. Golden mango milk was ok. If you are in the neighborhood, go check them out.

HeyTea is my new obsession. Obviously obviously. Quality tea drinks that actually taste like tea,…read moreand unlike the other locations the wait tends to be pretty bearable, even on the weekend. Although a pro tip is to firstly order from the app (for the discounts and rewards) and then if there IS a wait, just walk a block over and kill sometime in the LIC food hall (maybe grab a snack to go with your tea drink). You could also hit up naisnow and get egg tarts (my personal fave egg tarts in the city right now) and have a little food crawl of sorts. HeyTea is delicious and always pumping out drinks no matter the time of day at this location. It's a small space and there's a relatively big team handling all the orders that keep coming in but they have always been patient and despite being busy never been too frazzled to help me out.

We showed up and ended up waiting a bit, only to realize (too late) that we could've ordered online ahead of time. Pro tip: save yourself the wait and order in advance! That said, they do have a kiosk inside, which helps move things along once you're there. The bubble tea itself was pretty good -- fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The boba had a good chew, and the sweetness level was on point. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely solid and worth coming back for. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood. Just plan ahead if you don't love waiting in tight spaces!
