Saw this new food hall open up and wanted to give it a try. I can definitely say that the atmosphere is amazing. I went during the FIFA World Cup, and there was an area to view the game live. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, and it is also connected to the State Farm Arena, so it's really great for before or after concerts or basketball games. I do recommend ubering. I will say that the restaurants and bars are a bit pricey, but that's nothing new for Atlanta and Midtown restaurants. For the food, we decided on Fuzzy's which was really good. The bartenders are really nice, and if you don't like a drink, they take feedback really well and can make any adjustments you ask for. I went on a Monday night, so it was very quiet and the service was fast. I would love to see how it is on a busier night.

They've done such a wonderful job with CTR a/k/a old CNN building. I love they kept some touches - like the globe - in this renovated establishment. There's a nice bar in the middle of it all and tons of different food options. I was looking for something sweet, so I ended up getting ice cream from Morelli's. This place brought back old memories eating here before heading to Hawks games!

The reason for 3 stars is that the food was mid (I would love to give 3.5 stars if I could). Some dishes stood out - the peanut noodles, the lobster with the same noodles, salmon crudo, and wings were pretty good too. Everything else was either not great or very mid - the platter, calamari, salmon was not crispy skin and was overcooked, fries, sardine bruschetta. We spent $400 with tip and I only liked or remembered about 20% of what we ordered. Drinks are beautiful and creative. It would be great for a drink and sexy vibes, but I would go somewhere else to eat. I forgot to take pictures (OOPS)

The amount of prep, technique, and patience required for clarified cocktails definitely isn't lost on me, so I naturally gravitated toward those options. MidCity clearly puts serious effort into the details and the server was well-equipped to discuss and help guide me to the right decisions. I tried the Peanut+Butter, Mangorita, and Pear Matcha Fizz. The Mangorita was the standout for me. The rum brought a deep, complex backbone while the mango rounded everything out with just the right sweetness. Super balanced, layered, and honestly just delicious. The Peanut+Butter reminded me a bit of a Boulevardier variation, with the Cynar adding that earthy, slightly bitter edge that kept it from leaning too sweet. Really interesting drink with a lot going on. The Pear Matcha Fizz was refreshing and easy to drink -- definitely tasty -- but felt a little less complex and developed compared to the other two cocktails I had. Overall, very impressed. Creative menu, thoughtful execution, and a clear respect for craft cocktails. Already planning to go back tonight to work through more of the menu. This is a gem on the cocktail scene in Atlanta and deserves the glowing reviews that it has here on Yelp.

Take the pool elevator to the 6th floor from the lobby and you're in the party. The setup was a mix of sofas, long high top tables and seats at the bar. There could be reserved seating but mostly looked like first come, first served. We eventually got seats from gentlemen who were willing to get up. But it's a dance party so you won't be seated long. The rooftop bar was extremely busy so we got drinks in the lobby. The service on the rooftop and lobby bar was over extended. They needed more staff to support the crowd. Eventually we ordered food as it seemed more staff came in to help. We shared chicken wings and the flat bread pizza. The wings were a good size and come with potatoes. More like breakfast potatoes, not fries. They were rather salty and not very good. The flat bread pizza was tasty. Their menu included other starters, sandwiches, salads and desserts. We had cocktails - old fashioned, vodka and cranberry, and a Moscow mule. Good size and tasty. Overall, the band - The DJ Wright Band and DJ Eclazz were why we came! Definitely check this spot out.
