1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice and Beans which
    Terri R.

First time having Peruvian food in Las Vegas and it's been many years since having it in general. We had a wonderful dinner at Peru Chicken. The place isn't that big; very casual and service is good. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I had the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice and Beans which is simply delicious. It's tender and has such great flavor. I loved the sauces it came with, there was a green and yellow sauce on the side which were both great with the chicken. The beans are also very tasty. My BF got the Milanesa de Pollo which is a breaded chicken cutlet. It comes over fries and there is also rice and a simple salad. This dish is also really good. My BIL also got the 1/2 Chicken and we agreed that it's such an amazing dish. He tried the Chicha Miranda, the purple corn juice and he liked it. We all shared a Pork Tamale and the Fried Plantains which we enjoyed. Portion size of the food are big so we ended up taking food home. I definitely want to return and try some of the other dishes. It's located in a strip mall with lots of easy parking. Great meal!

This is the best Peruvian restaurant I have ever been to!! We were a big group of 10+ walk-in on a Sunday & they accommodated us so well on such a short notice. The waitress was very friendly, giving us extra sauces on the side & taking our orders in a timely manner. Staff was great, friendly, & very professional. I loved the mom & pop vibes. It is a small, intimate restaurant that serves authentic Peruvian dishes. We got yuca frita, ceviche, & anticuchos for apps for the table. Yuca frita was hot & so crispy, fresh out of the kitchen. Ceviche was sour, tangy, so full of flavor. I wish i had a spoon to slurp the juices from it. I got lomo saltado for my meal. The beef was tender, juicy, & so delicious. Portions were generous, we had to ask for to go boxes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone local to the vegas area for the real deal Peruvian dishes. I will come back!!

The food was delicious. We ordered the 1/4 chicken with fries, and rice and beans. The chicken was very tasty. The staff is friendly and gives you excellent service. The ambiance is inviting. Humble but comfortable. I will definitely will be coming back.

Came back to this spot again while I was in the area, and it still holds up as one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly and always on top of things, making sure you're taken care of throughout the meal. The food is just as great as I remembered--fresh, flavorful, and packed with that perfect balance of flavors. Seriously, the sauces here are next level. Every dish just gets better with a little dip of whatever sauce they've got going. And the prices? Totally fair for the portion sizes and the quality you're getting. If you're craving good Peruvian food, definitely check this place out. It's a winner

My husband and I decided to split a whole chicken with a side of cheese and corn. The chicken itself was good -flavorful, well-cooked, and enjoyable -but it wasn't the best thing we've ever eaten. It was solid, but not something we'd rave about. The cheese and corn side, however, was a miss for us. It wasn't what we expected at all. Instead of melted or cooked cheese, it was just pieces of cold cheese, and the "corn" turned out to be hominy. If you're expecting the usual crisp, juicy, and sweet corn, you'll be surprised -- hominy has a large, chewy texture and isn't sweet. It felt odd alongside the chicken, and we'll definitely be skipping that side next time.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was happy I did. I am not new to the Peruvian food game and this place proved to be good. The space is unassuming. Adequately clean with ample seating. Definitely see myself being more of a take out patron and that's not a bad thing at all! Gravitated to their Lomo Saltado variety and liked it. A little heavy on the saucy juices but otherwise a pleasant choice. Loved their yellow & green sauces. I can admittedly drink those by the gallon. Don't forget those two with your meal!! You'll regret it. Definitely want to come back to try more dishes from here. I can't help but eyeball the dessert. Recommended for sure!

I liked the food before... I grabbed a chicken with fries ... God, the fries were hard and cold, they were old, they only put them in the oil so the fries would heat up, horrible... the service was not at all friendly, very rude, especially the girl at the register... I won't be back.

Lomo Saltado was delicious. We also ordered the steak, ceviche. calamari, a delicious rice, ect...this restaurant was clean and the service was good.

Small in size but packed with flavor. The Himachi? We could've eaten ten of them. Deeeelicious. The taste of the beef was absolutely amazing and loved the accrucements that accompanied it as well. We ended our meal with an almost missed Tres Leches. There are still plenty of celebrity chefs and name-brand restaurants, but a lot of them have lost a little of their shine. Or maybe I've just changed. Either way, I've officially started looking off the Strip. This spot came highly recommended by my fellow Yelpers and it didn't disappoint. When we walked in around noon, it was empty, which made me hesitate for a second. But the server was friendly, the place was clean, and the vibe reminded me of old-school Latino restaurants in NYC. Comfortable, no frills, and welcoming. We started with yuca fries because obviously. We weren't in the mood for anything heavy, so we ordered seafood, mariscos saltado and a quarter chicken. Everything was really good. The sauces were a standout, especially the aji verde, house sauce, and huancaína. The yuca fries were perfectly addictive. A little pricey at $15 for a handful, but tasty. The mariscos saltado was $26 and a HUGE portion. As many of you know, Peruvian food has strong Chinese influences and saltado is that classic stir-fried, savory combo. The fish was soft and the seafood wasn't fancy but it was tender and well cooked. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The vibe here is casual and neighborly. The kind of place you'd come back to again and again. If I lived in Vegas, I'd definitely be here often.

Food: Their chicken is really moist and flavorful. If I was only rating their food, they would do quite well. The plantains were also excellent. If all I cared about was food, you'd be looking at 5 stars easily. The fact that they carry Inca Cola is a plus as well. Some of the best soda available. My wife and I split a 1/2 chicken plate with frijoles. The beans are nicely prepared and flavorful. The rice is plain but goes well with the beans and chicken. The score killer: When you order a combination takeout plate that includes rice and beans, it's generally safe to assume the customer isn't planning on eating it with their FINGERS. We get back to hotel to find these Einsteins didn't bother to include utensils. Too busy chatting with their other customers to take care of our order correctly apparently. I normally take some plastic utensils in my luggage but we brought a larger suitcase this trip so we could combine our belongings into one. Needless to say, we had an interesting time finishing our lunch. Incompetence like this is extremely difficult to overlook. Would I return? Maybe. The food is quite good but this really pissed me off. Even if I return and complain, I doubt they'd actually give a hoot. I would just make sure to check my bag next time if I decide to return or just make sure to pack utensils to avoid another occurrence like this one. What a pain!
