I like many people, have had at least one terrible experience with a moving company in my case only one horrific experience...with (NOBEL relocation moving company) Because I was severely burned by Nobel moving company, I was VERY careful about choosing my most recent moving company. I researched many moving companies, personally spoke with at least FIVE (5) of the staff members either via telephone or many email messages. Finally, for a variety of reasons I choose SUNBIZ MOVING..in part because they gave me a competitive flat rate...and I am so glad I chose SUNBIZ. They showed up with four young, professional, friendly, accommodating men who worked diligently through out the day, taking special care to pack everything carefully and thoughtfully. Although there were a couple of hiccups with the condominium elevator, these guys took it in stride, never complaining, just doing what needed to be done to get the move finished. I believe the move took them longer than they anticipated, but they never complained and worked relentlessly. At the end they put everything in my storage unit and worked diligently to get everything in the one unit so I wouldn't have to pay extra for another. We relocated from Chicago to Louisville and was told our van would be there next day. When we called for an update they did not have one and it wasn't until 5 days later they called to tell us they were arriving that day. Furniture was damaged and dirty when arrived. When moving out the movers left large holes in our walls and damaged the door frame. We ended up paying almost 3x the original estimate for a absolutely horrible and stressful moving experience.

When they arrived to move the truck was packed. Do not pay for square cubic feet if a moving company charged this way. The drivers told me it was 500 square cubic feet and as you will see it was less than that. After showing up 3 days later, when I asks for a discount they did not give it to us. When we called the party that hired them they said it was nothing they could do about it. It took 2 days for them to move our stuff and the last day was the 30th which we had to be fully moved out. No consideration to me having to clean before moving. They initially told us that they would give us a date to drop off our stuff after we paid the remaining 50% of our items and until this date (30 days later) they have not given us a move date yet they have our money. When we had questions leading up to moving day, their administrator Brana was quick and kind with her responses. On the day of moving us out Denis stayed in touch about their arrival time. Thankfully traffic helped us out (although I know it must have been difficult for Denis and his colleague Marat). We thought we were so ready to move and found out the morning of that I had missed several kitchen drawers and cabinets during a recent illness. Denis was so kind and patient, providing us with extra boxes and wrapping paper to keep our valuables safe during transit. He and Marat took such great care of every piece of furniture, every moving box and bag, and when he adjusted the invoice with all of our last minute add-ons he was very fair.
