Nathan, you should be ashamed of yourself. Do not trust this CubeSmart location. I had to file a police report today with the Aventura police after noticing brand new Nikes from my storage unit went missing while I was out of town for weeks. My unit is very organized and all of my inventory is accounted for. The sneakers were inside my unit, right in the front, but I did not think they would actually get stolen by the staff. This whole organization is a scam! I just realized my 5x5 unit price went up 20% in the past 2 years and according to the manager it is going to increase each year! I'm paying $93 a month for a 5x5 unit! Whaaaaat?????? I've asked them about promotion for a bigger unit,,it's advertised 5x15 online for $73, they told me that I can't upgrade for that price and have to pay $120!!!!! So if I get that unit under my husband I will pay $73 - but you won't accommodate your current customer???!? When I called the "corporate", dude on the other end told me - I don't know ma'm, I'm sorry. I will contact a manager who will then maybe contact you back. Needles to say, one ever got back to me. Whaaat????? I'm moving my stuff at the end of the next cycle- this is fraud! Moved to this location because my previous storage rates were getting out of control. CubeSmart Aventura is a very clean and safe facility. Not cheap but worth the money. They have surprisingly nice perks such as free coffee, free wifi, covered parking, a real dock for commercial trucks, a free truck when you move in, work stations and even a conference room! I used to rent space at a nearby facility not by choice but because it was bought out and therefore I became a a customer by default. I recently chose to move out my of the old facility as I got tired of the decline in service, cleanliness, and attentiveness from the staff. By no means the staff at the old facility was bad it is the company that they work for that is the driver of the decline. I went into Cube Smart and since the moment one I felt welcomed and the environment reminded me of the old company that used to own my previous storage. Regina was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional and was I would say had about a 75% impact on my decision to move in to Cube Smart. read more

I have to agree with the previous review. Very rude and/or not helpful staff--another vote for Yamile (plus a few others who are no longer there). I've been storing with this facility for over three years and have had a number of issues over payments, poor attitudes, no return calls, etc. The office refuses to take payments over the phone so the customer gets stuck paying a "convenience fee" to use their very unconvenient website. The site's technical glitches have been reported repeatedly to customer service and upper management (Nester Alvarez) to no avail. Based on the exorbitant rents they charge, lack of appreciation, and overall poor customer service, I would recommend storing elsewhere in the region. This location is the best! Although it was busy and there was only one employee...the customer service was great Jennifer had a lot of patience and made me feel very satisfied with my visit. Standard as far as the rental process goes, But one thing that really tarnished the whole experience for me, which happens to be a pet peeve of mine. Don't offer something like a great deal if that something is not going to be readily available, for example they're moving truck. If it's something that's very rarely available say so on the rental day so the customer can make plans accordingly, don't get somebody's hopes up and then tell them. "sorry the truck won't be available until a week or two from now. Tell the customer in advance for example when you're saying, "you can get the truck for $10 for the first day for new renters, oh but the truck won't be available for this amount of time and isn't available very often". Then at least I could plan ahead or I would know not to even bother with this so-called great deal. So now at least for the people who read my review, will be informed on there so called truck rental deal. One other thing is you can forget about them calling you back, won't happen. read more
