The first 3 months were great and then the rates increases started they up the cost every 3 months because they GOT YOU!! So I went down to a unit half the size what a pain in the ass!! We rented a truck to move our belongings into the unit, and we were informed that our key would be placed inside the unit as part of the move-in process. However, when we arrived, the key was not there. As a result, we were forced to keep the rental truck for several additional days while waiting to receive our key in the welcome package, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and additional expense. Additionally, our experience with the office staff was very disappointing. One employee in particular was unhelpful and unprofessional in handling the situation. Overall, the customer service has been extremely poor. We have also experienced unexpected rate increases, and if a payment is even one day late, the unit is immediately locked without consideration. The staff then act as though they do not recognize or recall prior conversations, which adds to the frustration. I had storage unit at this location for 3 years. The first year was fine. I had good service but then it got worse the last two years. They do not maintain the site and are borderline slum lords. There is never a cart when you need it. They have 3 carts at best which doesn't even cover 10 percent of the amount of units they have. The elevator is alarming and the maintenance on it is past due. Staff is not friendly and seem bothered when asking for help. Also if you are ever late on rent they lock your unit without notice and then call you acting like you are a deadbeat. I had a card on file that expired and I didn't catch it cause it was automatic. So the staff called and they were rude about it. Mind you it was only like a couple days past due. I gave them the updated card and said please put it on file. But they forgot to so the next month was an exact repeat of the situation. Lighting is horrendous. There is no lights in the unit and the hallway lights are on 30 second timers so by the time you walk in the unit the lights go out so you have to walk back out or bring a light. The main access door is always broken and can allow people to enter the facility. Lastly when I signed up they said there would be a yearly increase which is fine. But since rent was skyrocketing they kept raising every 3 months which is not acceptable. By the time I canceled my rent was more than double from when I started. read more

After initially having problems with this facility when in first opened, in particular billing, we ended up renting a storage unit there again three years ago. Overall the facility remains to be a nice one. The office staff is friend and they take good care of the inside of the facility. However due to the continual price increases we have moved out. We originally rented the storage unit online and was offered a 35% discount. However after 6 months the rent was increased to the original amount. So if you look online and see a price of $100 x'd out and offered for $65, that means in 6 months your rent will increase to $100. And in three years we've had several rent increases and are now paying 60% more than the original rent. Also note that I understand Cubesmart has or is buying a lot of storage companies so ask other places if they're affiliate with Cubesmart before signing to avoid high rent increases. read more

Air conditioner flooded my indoor unit several times damaging my proposed with black mold/water damage. When I first approached them about the damage they denied it has ever happened, but I was fortunate enough to come in early one morning to personally witness the flooding (AGAIN)! CubeSmart still refuses to accept responsibility and have my unit cleaned out... they want me to be exposed to the mold and chemicals they have sprayed in the unit (they won't even tell me what chemicals were used but I could smell them)), getting ready to take them to court to resolve this issue! I needed a climate controlled storage unit and only had a 24 hours notice. The CubeSmart website was easy to navigate and allowed me to reserve a 10x10 unit with no CC online. The next day when I went to then location I was very pleased with the quality of the units, security of the building, the friendly, attentive service and the ease of use.
