They were very responsive in coordinating and the shell arrived in Florida within the timeframe. However, beware of the size of the shell. When we told them we had a one-bedroom, they recommended the 10-foot shell, although we were wary since we had a lot of stuff, so we opted for the 15-foot shell. Our stuff ended up just fitting into the 15-foot shell, so that would have been a big problem if we went with the 10-foot, especially since we were moving out that day and couldn't waste any time. The movers were nice and got our stuff out quick, but a problem arose with how they packed the shell, which we didn't realize until we unpacked. They stuffed our boxes in and many of them got crushed and a lamp broke. Also a bunch of the furniture got scratched, but we didn't cover the furniture as we didn't really care. Another thing- when the movers arrived in Florida, they key they gave us to the lock back in NJ did not work. We tried and tried, and finally they used bolt cutters to cut the lock off. Zippy Shell is what it is, a low cost option for moving, but don't expect high quality stuff.

I had to share my experience, because this company did exactly what every relocator's WORST…read morenightmare is. I found them on unpakt.com, called them, and found them to be very helpful and able to accommodate my needs. It was a comfortable 3-4 weeks before our move. We were happy. Then, out of nowhere, 12 days before our move, we get an email that they canceled our move. No phone call, no nothing. Just an email. So, I call them -- and was promptly reassured that the cancellation was a clerical error ("I think my secretary cancelled you by accident"), and that he would get back to me. Saturday comes and goes, no call back. So I call Sunday just to check in, and am told that he is out of the office until Monday morning, but he will be back in the office by 9am and will call me first thing in the morning. I confirm that he knows my name, he tells me he doesn't need a phone number, recites the details for my move -- all in all, I'm feeling confident. Monday, 3pm, no call. So I call him and am sent to voicemail (for the first time) and leave a message explaining that I would REALLY love to hear back, given it's roughly 9 days before our move at this point. Monday, 8pm, no call. It is now Tuesday, 6pm -- still no call. Because of this "clerical error", and frustrating inability to return my REPEATED calls, we were forced to book with a different company -- after going through a number of other companies who were booked by this point. This company jeopardized my entire move, and they STILL have not called to apologize or rectify the situation. They delayed my booking a company that actually DOES want my business by 3 days during a peak season and less than 2 weeks before our move. This was the opposite of reliability. Highly, HIGHLY discouraging.

I will say this, "If you want your furniture to be moved from point A to B, damaged, you the customer, to be overcharged, and your personal items to be stolen, then this is the moving company for you." Ricki Sharma's goal is to get the money and he cares less about the best practices when it comes to his company's level of service.
