Mario and his team are friendly and personable, which made for an easy, smooth moving-in process, even after office hours. They called a few days before the move to see if we needed anything and check that we had received the code for our unit. Mario also called a day after move-in to check it all went well. Not a single hitch. We'll be back next year. (And their prices were less than most of the other units nearby because this location is still so new.) Btw I was not paid, nor did I receive any kind of compensation or service in exchange for this glowing review. They really earned it.

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. I recently visited my unit after a few years and there's clear water damage from within the facility. There's dirt from the ceiling that I was assured by Extra Space staff would not fall into my space. There's several spider webs as well. I've rented many storage units in the last 20 years, when in college and living in apartments in Philadelphia and New York City. I've used both Public Storage and another Extra Space facility. I've never paid more for a unit than my space in Cranbury and have never had these problems. Shame on this company for taking my monthly fee for 7+ years and not fulfilling their guarantee of fee for service. I will be looking into legal action.

When I arrived the truck was ready, and he actually was able to switch me into the smaller truck I had originally wanted. The process, which I remember previously taking forever, was incredibly quick. From the time I checked in to the time I was pulling away with the rental had to be less than 10 minutes. And not because I was rushed, but because he was efficient. Before leaving it was explained to me that I was required to return the truck with a full tank of gas (as it was currently full upon taking it) with the gas receipt. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but when I returned the truck he looked at the receipt and the mileage and decided he owed ME money back. Basically that the gauge showed full when I took it, but in reality it might have been less- so to make up for that he refunded me $13 to be fair. That level of honesty and fairness isn't something you see too often anymore, especially with bigger companies. I'd highly recommend this location.

We recently rented a moving van from this location. The price was reasonable and the van was…read moreavailable for the 24 hour period we needed. There was a flat fee for the van and $1/mile charge. Being that we didn't plan on putting more than $30 miles on the van, the $1/mile charge suited our needs. However, it could easily get quite pricey for someone moving a distance. They also sell storage and moving boxes, if needed. When it came time to return our van, we had to wait 20-25 minutes. That's rather unacceptable. There was one guy at the counter, however, he was not in charge of processing paperwork to return a van. He was very friendly and pleasant, but just couldn't help us. The guy that normally processes van returns went to run an errand, which in turn required us to wait. My suggestion would be to call ahead and make sure that someone will be there to assist you.
