They have been extremely flexible with us during our move in every possible way. Moves are super stressful, and they understand and accommodate in any way to make it go smoothly for you, and without the added stress and worry of piling on charges. For a business in the moving industry, this is rare. They are locally owned and treat you like family! Going with crates rather than boxes saved us a ton of time and effort (and consumption!). They pick up and drop off with no effort on your part. Pickup was tricky with stairs and multiple trips, but they did it with no complaints or help on our part. However, I am on a time crunch and start school in less than a few days and had to take the risk because I had a pretty big move and only a short time to do it. With that being said, the process was SEAMLESS. Two men arrived - Hez and Louie- to the house bright and early- professional and prompt. Handled my furniture with grace, wrapped it all up, loaded it up carefully, and made their way over to my new home. There was not a single dent or damage to any of my furniture. Extremely polite and hardworking movers that worked diligently from 7-1:30 pm straight. This move was from Providence to MA and they worked in the rain with being wet, slippery floors and quite a few stairs. Now, the cost quoted to us was exactly the same as charged. I have no idea why others state they were misled by charges, that was certainly not the case for me. I seriously had such low expectations going into this move from the reviews and was blown AWAY by these two movers. Also- all my furniture was thoroughly wrapped in blankets and/or wrap. They undid it all for me once inside the house, put everything together, and put it exactly where I wanted it. They worked on basement, ground level, and upstairs with coverage of two bedrooms, full dining room, living room and basement. So as you can imagine, a lot of furniture had to be moved. Management was not a program whatsoever and actually pleasant to deal with. So hopefully whoever is reading, they did an absolutely flawless job at moving me and I am genuinely happy I hired them. In 2015 I was planning to move abroad. I rented out my house and put all the belongings that I was…read morekeeping in storage with Jones. I was led to believe that my furniture would be in its own little storage compartment and not get disturbed. The furniture that I kept was all mid century collectible furniture in excellent condition. I ended up moving back into my house two years later. Almost every single piece of furniture was damaged or banged up in some way. On one of the larger pieces was a sign indicating it was in a storage room for oversize pieces. For sure my furniture was not in its own little compartment, and it obliviously was carelessly moved around many times. They sent someone to "repair" the damage which basically entailed covering it up with a magic marker. A really disappointing experience. Would not trust them again with anything valuable to me.
