I spent 6 weeks packing (I'm 70 yo single female) and emptying drawers, even my boxes were organized according to size, and mirrors removed and packed from bureaus so that when Nelson and his crew came in to see what was being moved he organized them to start! They moved quickly but not carelessly along with laughter and by the time we were done unloading at my storage facility it was quite less than the estimated time! With that being said, the process was SEAMLESS. Two men arrived - Hez and Louie- to the house bright and early- professional and prompt. Handled my furniture with grace, wrapped it all up, loaded it up carefully, and made their way over to my new home. There was not a single dent or damage to any of my furniture. Extremely polite and hardworking movers that worked diligently from 7-1:30 pm straight. This move was from Providence to MA and they worked in the rain with being wet, slippery floors and quite a few stairs. Now, the cost quoted to us was exactly the same as charged. I have no idea why others state they were misled by charges, that was certainly not the case for me. I seriously had such low expectations going into this move from the reviews and was blown AWAY by these two movers. Also- all my furniture was thoroughly wrapped in blankets and/or wrap. They undid it all for me once inside the house, put everything together, and put it exactly where I wanted it. They worked on basement, ground level, and upstairs with coverage of two bedrooms, full dining room, living room and basement. So as you can imagine, a lot of furniture had to be moved. I was led to believe that my furniture would be in its own little storage compartment and not get disturbed. The furniture that I kept was all mid century collectible furniture in excellent condition. I ended up moving back into my house two years later. Almost every single piece of furniture was damaged or banged up in some way. On one of the larger pieces was a sign indicating it was in a storage room for oversize pieces. For sure my furniture was not in its own little compartment, and it obliviously was carelessly moved around many times. They sent someone to "repair" the damage which basically entailed covering it up with a magic marker. A really disappointing experience. Would not trust them again with anything valuable to me.

They arrived late and didn't take accountability for arriving late. They were like, "who said we are late?". And they didn't even communicate their ETA to us. 2. No one answered the phone , the morning that our moving service was scheduled and no one reached out to us on when they would arrive. Their contract states that they would reach out with their ETA and no one did. 3. Some of our larger items were bent or broken. 4. Because they were late, they ended late in the day so we weren't able to inspect our items until the next day. 5. Customer service takes ZERO accountability. 6. We agreed with AOA on moving items out of our garage but the day of the moving, their team refused to move it and said that it would void their insurance to move these items (lawn mower, garden supplies, etc). Soooooo we had to hire another moving company the same day and get charged the extra rate for late night and expedited moving services which is expensive. We politely reached out to the company and shared our experience and nothing was done but the company giving us all of these new reasons and excuses for the service. Side note: upon arrival to our house, they were driving fast on our road and damaged our neighbors property.
