Ell was very helpful and have a thorough explanation of the rental process and she did it with a genuine smile that you could feel that she was happy to assist without any hesitation. I was able to get the units I needed in the time frame I was looking for. I have to say that it was the team work between Josh and Ell that made that happen. Josh assisted and was able to find the units that were becoming available. He and Ell made this process such a delight when I was expecting it to be somewhat stressful with the time frame I had. Not only was this experience a breath of fresh air, but it continued each time I was at the facility. The maintenance and care of the facility is just as nice. Each time I have made a trip to my unit I see all of the crew doing something around the facility and each time they make eye contact and greet you with a smile. Josh was painting on one occasion and stopped what he was doing to acknowledge me and say good morning. You do not get this kind of acknowledgment anywhere these days and when you do it's definitely recognized. Thank you Josh, Ell and the other extremely kind and helpful maintenance helper that all I can remember is he has been with them for 4 years . I didn't want to get his name wrong. At the end of the year the price went up 25% and this past weekend we moved our daughter out of the unit. We found a lot of mouse droppings and quite a bit of damage due to the mice. Things were chewed through and urine covered a lot of items so we ended up throwing a lot out. When we were moving the items into the moving van a mouse came out of a piece of furniture. We did not store anything food related so they weren't enticed by that. I am not quite sure what the solution is for a mouse issue in a large facility like that but something has to be done.

I have tried working with the company for a reduced rate and they won't lower the bill after being with them for years. I was told the only way to reduce the rental fee is to move my contents to another unit. I understand this is their company and they can have whatever policies they want. I really want to make any future long term renter aware there are much cheaper options in the surrounding area, especially if won't visit your unit frequently. I have another unit in the surrounding area and the prices are much lower. Renting from this company has been a costly mistake and I want others to make an informed decision.

We purchased a 27x 10 space earlier in the week but when we got there today, the truck behind our space was overlapping into our space, making ours 24 feet. When talking to the guy working, his response was he can get the guy to move the truck up in the space( which he did a few inches and didn't help), try to switch with the neighbor but no answer or leave the premises with our boat. We paid for a 27 foot spot but it was really 23/24 feet.. but according to the guy working there, it was our fault to not test out the spot first to see if it fit. The guy reported the truck guy didn't want to move his truck and bc he has been there a whiland the working guy said nothing he could do about it but leave the facility. So we had to find a spot, at 7 pm, to be able to place our boat. Extremely disappointed in the staff and situation. I would not recommend this place at all. I have never been so disrespected and just generally slimed as a paying customer to a service provider. I had a great experience in the first half of my process with CityStash when my things were collected for storage. They weren't the most professional team, they bumbled around and were rushing, apologizing for knocking things into walls but never stopped rushing. That said, they were good, kind people and I was happy to look past a little damage-free klutziness. When it came time to have my things delivered, the situation went south quickly. At the very end, I think possibly even after my delivery window, I got a call saying they were running late and hadn't even picked up my things from the warehouse to be delivered. I had been calling the main line for updates but didn't get a call back for hours, long after they would have known they wouldn't make it within the delivery window. Again, while it was annoying and could have been handled better, these things happen and I was willing to look past it. The delivery was finally made about 7pm and the movers again arrived flustered and rushed through the process, again banging into things and dinging walls. I assured them it was no big deal and not to worry, I understood sometimes life goes wrong. Once they had finished putting everything in the house, they let me know they had misplaced the specific hardware to reassemble a major piece of bedroom furniture - dresser with attachable mirror. I was told they would collect new screws from Home Depot and see me "first thing in the morning," calling me about an hour before they arrived. The next day I waited until 11 before I began calling, again waiting hours for a callback. This is when I began to get frustrated. When the owner finally called me back around 4pm, he said to me: "I don't know who told you that or why, but that was never going to happen." After exercising a healthy dose of patience and understanding through this, I had now taken not one but two unnecessary days off of work and a snarky remark from he business owner was the last thing I wanted to hear. Two full days later, the job was complete beginning on Tuesday and ending on Friday. The owner will likely be surprised by this review, though I'm not sure why. I clearly communicated my frustrations and he took little to no responsibility for the issues, blaming everything largely on the team he had sent in. When he wasn't blaming his team, he was all but shrugging his shoulders at me. While they certainly were part of the problem, my real grievance rests with him, who handled the situation with the grace and professionalism of a kindergartner in a boardroom. I was refunded $35 for the over half of a week of inconvenience, which perhaps was more insulting than no acknowledgement at all.

They also said they would come try to fix the dresser that they damaged, but they never committed to a time to come and eventually started ignoring my emails. The concept is great but if they are going to carelessly break things then that is worse than them not moving anything at all.
