I went into this thrift store with my friend and our babies, and from the moment we walked in, the energy was completely off. The staff looked at us like we didn't belong there, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. It honestly felt like they assumed things about us the second we walked through the door. I was only in the store about 10 minutes, found an outfit I liked, and went to check out. The woman at the register -- an older, heavyset Hispanic woman -- stared at me the entire time, up and down, like she was uncomfortable with me even being there. When I got to the counter, she said "Oh, you found something?" in a tone that felt very disrespectful, almost like she didn't expect me to buy anything or didn't think I could. The entire interaction felt judgmental and unnecessary. I've never felt so unwelcome in a store before. If you're not from their usual crowd or you don't "look" how they expect, don't bother coming here. They really need to work on their customer service and stop making people feel out of place. read more

I came in this establishment today on a mission to sell. I ended up selling a LV replica and I wish I could've gotten more money for it than what I expected. They were going to sell it in the store for $40 and you get 30% of what they sell so I got $12 for it given the fact that I did not know the purse was a rep with that when I got it I'm glad to get it out of my possession. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere this establishment has all the up-to-date Styles in fashion. They definitely give you a good about the items in the girl was really friendly and made an exception for me since I only had two items that she was letting me go in between other customers with large items. She did slightly inform me that this can't happen next time and I thank her for accommodating eBay. They don't just buy women's clothes they buy men's clothes and much more. They have a lot of high brand, namebrand, purses, clothing, shoes, accessories, and much more. This location is located in the same shopping center as TJ Maxx that's to Buckhorn Grill very clean establishment very friendly staff. Also if you're going to sell the items to them, they ask that you have them and reusable bags totes or other items. Great establishment. I highly recommend Cucamonga shopping center for anybody looking to update their style or sell some items great establishment great experience. I will definitely be coming back here again very soon. let me start by saying, the young kids who work here are great. HOWEVER, this place is awful. waste of time. I called before I showed up to make sure I followed the rules (I always give my stuff to goodwill, hospice, etc). I brought in 5 bags of expensive, good stuff (uggs,sorel,coach and dooney). I am sorry Cucamonga you just didn't come thru for us. We came from Chico & you let us down. The wait time was unreasonable! After a 2 hour wait we were told it would be additional two hours as others have dropped off. We returned only to find those in front of us, that there clothes had not been processed either. We even received a apology from the manager, with a willingness to give us a $25 credit that we never received after correspondence. Staff was polite & not responsible other than the management they are ran under. Unfortunate! We visited two other stores being Crossroads & Plato's Closet who processed our clothing within 20 minutes & gave us a very reasonable offer. I don't know if the ownership has changed, but service was so irritating I won't be back. I have found interesting vintage fabrics there before that I remake into new designs. I have never had employees in a shop follow me around and make me feel uncomfortable. There were other issues, but that was quite enough for me. read more

I took probably 20 items of brand new clothing & shoes with tags on them (fashion nova, SKIMS, SHEIN) 8 items were taken and I received $28 (about $3 per item). The 4 SKIMS bodysuits & tops were $80 a piece. They seem to want to take all your expensive items, but give you chump change for them. I will not be going back. read more

I called ahead of leaving my home (over 20 miles away) and asked them how they would like to receive the clothing to be bagged/boxed for resale evaluation, I was told they just need to be in a box/plastic bin or a reusable bag. I showed up without lids on my plastic boxes and was turned away. The staff should be more specific as to how they will accept items so people DON'T WASTE THEIR TIME OR GAS. So sad, this place has gone downhill. The only employees are high school kids with zero social skills or any knowledge of customer service. I went in today - 3 girls and 1 guy working. Not one person greeted, all just talking about inappropriate work topics, cussing and being very unhelpful. You can bring in really nice expensive clothes and "the best they can do is $5" I would only consider trying to sell your clothes if you have super outdated/unfashionable items. Not sure who they have as the person who picks clothes but they need to be retrained, and be consistent with your hours cause she is never in when I drop off. read more

Poor customer service and exchange policy. Tried to exchange a $18 pair of jeans that was damaged. (Didn't realize the damage till I got them home. They are clearly not wearable). Went back well within the 7-day exchange period. All original tags were attached because the jeans were brand new, plus the Cucamonga tag was also still attached. Employees called the manager and had me waiting for several minutes only to send me away with nothing but the damaged jeans. Clearly not a firm policy and I'm disappointed that the QC process for buying and offering jeans failed with zero options provided for the buyer. I had a bag of some of the same clothing hanging on there overpriced racks and I'm not even lying when I say my stuff was in better condition as what they were selling. Zero stars!!!!!! This place took my clothes- lululemon, Michael Kors purses, expensive shoes etc- Never called or text me to let me know my clothes were ready to be picked up. So I called the day after I dropped off To check in with them and was told that they entered my phone number wrong in there system, but that my bags weren't ready for pick up yet and they should be ready within the next 2 days! So I waited to hear from them, again, didn't hear a word from them!!!!!! Called and left messages.. called and left voicemails- all of these with my name, number etc- Then finally got ahold of someone who told me they would have the manager call me because they couldn't find my items... Manager called and let me know they donated my items with out my permission. Never called or text to tell me my items were ready to be picked up, never notified my items would be donated! NOTHING!!!! Then told me she was sorry, but there's nothing they can do about it! So I would guess.. I had 5 lululemon bags full of clothes, shoes and purses.. that amounted somewhere around 6-700 dollars... but I'm supposed to just be ok with not getting these items returned to me, or getting the money these clothes and bags are worth. I am so mad about this, first and last time I will ever go here!! Looks like I might need to have an attorney look into This! read more

I came here the other day and brought in some Items to trade in and I guess they only have A buyer come in on certain days So I had to leave my stuff there and the next day they called me and I asked if they take any of my items and they said that the buyer passed on them I wish these places wouldn't be so picky on what they take I had a namebrand items going in I had a pair of Old Navy jeans and a pair of toward pants and they passed on them This is a very clean establishment a very clean atmosphere The girl working was friendly and made good eye contact and smiled the girl that was going through the bags had a sour look on her face she might want to work on that given the fact that she's working retail and customer service just food for thought I have worked in retail for over 13 years and I know what kind of service should be provided to customers when entering an establishment whether it's a food establishment a clothing establishment or any kind of coffee establishment restaurant I know what kind of service should be provided I don't think I will come back here again they are too picky on what they want so if you have a lot of namebrand stuff you might want to think twice so you don't get turned away with your items going back home read more

Don't waste your time selling high quality or designer clothes here. They usually don't want it. They also will review your clothes on their schedule and then want you to return within a few days whenever they are done, with little notice. I've also never seen anything high quality in the store although my kids like it. Better deals for this quality at thrift stores though. read more

I used to love coming here shopping and selling. The selling side is still good but as far as shopping, my rating has gone down. I was so shocked today at the prices. They have raised their prices on items ridiculously. Compared to Freestyle, Crossroads, Plato's Closet which I would say they compare to, their prices are so much higher. A used Athleta black top was $22 and a used jacket by Athleta was $65! Ouch!! There were many other items that I would of purchased but the price was too high. In some ways I think they are trying to be more like Article Consignment. But even Articles prices are fair for what they carry. Super bummed about this as I used to love shopping here. They keep a clean store that doesn't have overcrowded racks like crossroads and freestyle so you can actually see the items. Just took 2 huge tubs of high end (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc) There was well over 60 pieces of high end clothing. All stain free, all washed and there was one jacket in there (original price was $250). I did get it on sale but never wore it. I had a pair of shorts (price tag still on $68) and a pair of jeans (price tag still on $98). Just called and they offered me $27.00. Screw you! Cost me more in gas to drive down there. Picking it ALL up and taking it to Goodwill for a write off! Before I took my things down, I first glanced at what they had and what they were pricing things at. First rack - used bra tops $6.00. Faded Nike T Shirt $12.00. I also hear someone took things in, they told her they would price it at X and she went in and found her item priced for $8.00 more than they told her. I don't care how sweet you are, you guys are dishonest and won't stay in business too long if this is how you operate! read more
