Adj: Upscale thrift store with an Unique and meaningful cause ReNew is a local non-profit organization that sells high quality and higher end donated items for raising money to support Acres of Hope which is the organization they created to help the community. There are actually 2 ReNew stores, one focused on home goods and decor type of items and the other is clothing, shoes, and smaller items. 100% of the profits from these stores goes directly to their program that helps women and children out of poverty and homelessness. This thrift store isn't like a Goodwill, not big, not "corporate" and so I feel that it's much more personable. Everything is tasteful and nicely organized and they even tell you it's "curated" on their website. ReNew sells new and gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, kitchenware and especially some nice sets of fine china (see pics), arts and crafts, card and board games, books, dvds, some smaller electronics and home appliances as well as upcycled home decorations, housewares, furniture, etc. They really do sort and quality control their items, as I can see that their new and gently used, high-end and name brand fashion are all high quality. Some of the items are kind of overpriced for what they are being used, but most items are at "low-thrift boutique" prices, and for a good cause so it's definitely a great place to shop. They have a list of items they accept for donations as well as what they don't accept. Well, this place was a true find in Roseville! Clothing, housewares, accessories, jewelry, furniture, books, etc. I scored a beautiful newer set of melamine dinnerware for a fabulous price! This is an amazingly large shop filled with clothing, shoes, housewares, craft items, accessories, jewelry, furniture, books, linens and stuff. They often have a red tag $1 clothing section, a green tag 65% off section, other discounts (student 15%) and specials going on. They were having a 25% pop up sale and 50% on shoes/bags when I was there. The store was clean, cheery, well curated and organized. We stopped into ReNew to browse and see if we could find some items for our house. There's plenty of parking in the lot, and there are two entrances. Inside everything is really well decorated and displayed beautifully. We stopped in right after Christmas so there was still a lot Christmas decorations, housewares, and ornaments. They have a clothing section, home area, and then furniture, books, and toys. This is a place you'd want to check out seasonally for new items. The prices range and when we stopped in they were having specials on certain items for a big discount on the listed price. They are also working to raise money for a great cause, it benefits the Acres of Hope, a program supporting women and children. You can also make donations here. read more

Well organized with a great group of volunteers staffing this unique boutique. The store is decorated to match the seasons and the care that is given to the customer experience is very evident. From clothing that often has the original price tags still on the merchandise to the useful housewares that are priced to sell, this is a fun experience with every visit. New stock is added every day. I didn't find what I wanted but I know it's a hit miss when you're looking for pots and pans. But the stores laid out lovely and they have anything else, You'd actually imagine. The people working there are friendly and helpful. I just got a simple cookbook. But it had nice pictures and that's really important in life. Make sure to stop in. I was not previously was not family with ReNew, having donated to other organizations in the region. A friend of mine is part of the volunteer staff and after hearing such positive comments from her, I purged the closet and headed to the Boutique. I believe the staff persons name was Lisa, who helped me with my donation and shared some additional information that would be helpful as I decided to shop as well. From the moment I stepped inside I prayed and asked the good Lord not to let me lose my shopping mind. They had everything! Fine China, furniture, art, clothing, shoes, you name it! I truly love the store....it's volunteers, inventory, cleanliness, and so esthetically pleasing to the eye...but...so very disappointed that for a store that gets. their inventory "donated" chose to up their prices like everyone is doing to take advantage of the hard times.... Looking at their clothing today....I could put $2-$5 with the prices you are asking and get it brand new....not used. Also, looked at some of the jewelry, and most neckless's were $10 +....come on, why? I know your business is helping women and children, which I know you are blessed for doing, but, don't forget the folks who are barely rubbing two nickels together. read more

Upscale Thrift Store I was in search of a local non-profit organization (that wasn't a Goodwill) to donate some slightly used items. Anyway, I came upon this thrift store that is a store and also accepts donations. It was my first time here and I arrived around 3:00p. I missed the cut off and was told that donation hours were between 9:30a to 2:00p. I asked one of the volunteers where the donations were usually dropped off and I can come back on Monday. She asked how many bags I will be donating and she kindly said to go around and pull up in the back of the building and she'll meet me there. I was able to empty the back seat. Thank you! I went back inside the store and started looking around. The store had many volunteers working and kept the store tidy and clean. The interior has expanded and there were different sections for kitchen, household, clothing and jewelry. Although not as big as a Goodwill store this location carries some unique items. They had sales going on but items were priced a little on the high side. I didn't purchase anything as my purpose this time was spring cleaning and donate. It's easy to drop donations off and it goes to a good cause. They will accept almost all donations as they have a "sister site" for the items that are not up to their high standards. I was in between appointments and thought I would go to Ross for some much needed business casual clothing for my new position as a Concierge. As I was driving on Douglas blvd, ReNew caught my eye. I decided to give it a go. To my surprise, they have fashionable clothes and extremely affordable prices. This store has something for everyone. Home decor, jewelry, shoes, holiday gifts, kitchenware,furniture ............ with Beautiful ladies that exude customer service with a witty flare. This thrift store supports the Acres of Hope program, which helps women and children experiencing homelessness. All proceeds going to the charity!!!!!! If you're interested in a tax write off ,Donations are accepted at the back of the store during specific hours, and furniture donations require prior approval via email. If you're looking for an upscale boutique experience where all proceeds support a meaningful charity, look no further, ReNew is a goldmine! I visit this place every time I'm in Roseville. The store is always running a sale of some kind, which is great. I've mostly purchased handbags - I find most of the clothing is too out of style for my taste. My recent finds are a couple of Coach bags for 12 bucks each and a vintage Gucci shoulder bag. In an outdated shopping center in Roseville sits two ReNew thrift shops. One is the home shop and the other is the clothes shop. Great basic shops. Don't expect a huge operation and inventory like Goodwill though. Home shop: I stepped into the home shop first. It is a tiny shopfront. It was decorated for the holidays, awesome staging with the actual items for purchase. It looked like a mini department store display. Cute. They have furniture- dresser, bookcases, armoire, dining sets, end tables,and desks that were are up cycled...cleaned up, restored, and looking pretty. Plus home items: dishes, cookware, and kitschy kitchen items. I spyed some Corelle casserole & pots from the 1970s, priced $5-$8. Also they have Christmas home items...tons... ranging from decorations (ornaments, village houses, plates, glasses...). Clothes shop: This shop was also tiny. They carried clothes, shoes, costume jewelry, and accessories! They even had a small selection of X-mas sweaters. 100% of proceeds go to Acres of Hope. So very cool! AOH is a charitable organization that assists the homeless of Placer County. The store is staffed by volunteers and they accept drop off donations on site during business hours. Great! read more

Love these stores! One side is home goods and the other side is mostly ladies clothing. I can always find something at either store. The home store is arranged nicely and does not feel like a thrift store. The items are good quality and there is always a sale. The clothing side is organized well and they have a dollar section for people looking for bargains! Most of the workers are volunteers and they always greet everyone as they come in the door! Every time I visit the boutique they have displayed new merchandise. Their home goods and furniture department is always so much fun to brose through as you never no what you'll find. I find myself saying I don't need anything and yet I always come away with some new treasure. The gals in the boutique are very helpful and I always meet new people. I have visited this beautiful store for years. Just walking in to see the beautiful displays for each season was breathtaking. However, last year, when I walked in, everything was different. Gone were the beautiful displays of porcelain, china, crystal, glass & art work. In their place were racks of clothing. Tho nicely displayed, it looked more like a glorified thrift shop. All the beautiful displays that were once in the front of the store were now to the side and the back. And tho they were still nice to see, somehow the displays didn't catch the eye as they once did before. Maybe they have a new decorator, don't know. When asked why it all changed, the volunteer person came across as rude. Maybe there was a reason to have all the clothes at the entrance, don't know. It's just that it has lost a lot of the elegance it once had. read more

Nice second hand women's clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. They have a large selection and broad size range. They do a nice job displaying the clothing. I regularly find something I love. They are near three other thrift stores, Discovery Shop, Good Will and Urban Renew (right next door) The women who work there are volunteers and very polite and helpful. The proceeds go to a wonderful charity, so I feel good when at the register. read more
