I wanted to let everyone know that this place is racist and discriminates against individuals with disabilities. A few times my groups have taken the individuals that we support here because they want to play pool . They give them nasty looks and state that they are too loud and most recently they did not let the group play because the staff stated there were 6 individuals playing and the staff were there to just assist them. The person there kept insisting there is only 6 people to a table and would not let the guys play even with the staff explaining that they are autistic and staff once again are there just to assist. He took the table back and gave the staff back the money. Which is ridiculous since the group went when they first open and it was empty in there. I think it was a mixture of my individuals being autistic and the staff being mostly black. Either way I Will be informing the better business bureau and filing other complaints with other entities to ensure that this does not continue to happen. read more

After many years of hitting up Bell Blvd during my college days, and passing Cue Bar during my drives down Northern, it always piqued my interest and never got the opportunity to go in...until now! I went in on a Wednesday night for a casual date to play some ping pong. I never realized how big it is inside...I mean, the space is HUGE! I was quite impressed! Though they only have two ping pong tables nestled in the back corner, there are plenty of pool tables. The prices are very reasonable and they also run many specials on drinks. There is also a really cute lounge area by the bar with...get this...AN INDOOR FIRE PIT! Awesome. What I really liked was the service wasn't overbearing. We got our drinks and proceeded to play without anyone interrupting to ask if we wanted to order anything, though if you do, hailing a server is not difficult at all. Just a side note, it may seem like they have a private lot for you to park in on the side, but it's for the big CVS next door so you're stuck with street parking which is a little bit of a tedious task to find a spot during certain times of day. read more

Came here on the weekend twice with a few friends and I have to say I'm impressed with the measures they have taken. 10/10 COVID They took down one person's info for contact tracing plus everyone's temp to dine in. All the tables inside that they advertised on their Instagram were separated. Nobody was on top of each other. Sanitizers were everywhere. Numerously, I heard them tell everyone as they walked in to wear a mask when leaving their tables. That reassured my group a lot. But what I was super impressed was their outdoor dining area as well. Even though it has gotten chilly, the ambience outside their doors were very well lit. The service hasn't changed at all. Always on top~! Made sure we were never missed out. I really enjoyed their newest addition: Margarita Pouches ($15). My group ordered a lot of those that we had to stop by again the next night! Went here on a Tuesday. The bar had few patrons but the pool tables were all surprisingly occupied. Yes on a Tuesday! Luckily it took us only maybe 30 minutes to get a table. The place is huge. The bar can sit a good number of people then there are tables around where you can enjoy a drink while waiting for a table to open up or simply enjoy your drink. Then there is this lounge area, which appears so cozy and kinda romantic. Guess the effects of the lighting and the fireplace have that vibes. That area was empty at that time, was thinking this will be a good place for a girls night out. One of them is the size of a movie screen.. Pool tables and cues are in decent condition for the most part. Pricing for tables are competitive! They play dance/pop-music, but it's not annoyingly loud or distracting. Lounge and bar are up front and ping pong on the side of the room. Air hockey table is awkwardly placed in the middle of the pool table area so if drunk guys start playing it might get annoying. The pool hall hosts a pool players club, which gathers to play a couple of times a week. The staff is polite most of the time, although a couple can be a tad snippy. Servers are usually attractive young women and all staff members dress in black to match the room. Food there is consistent with bar food and may be a little better. Drinks are plentiful with mixes of liquors that seem unique. Not all drinks are cheap, but if you want to get buzzed, it's pretty good. Specials on beers and drinks to be found as well! This is a neighborhood place that is great to come to just for shooting some pool and not getting your drink on, although you can get your drink on here and you might play pool better if your do. Lots of tables to play on and we have never had to wait for a table. Plenty of seating for those not into showing off their mad pool skills and just wanting to watch those that think they have skills. We come here every so often and have a few good laughs at who thinks they are the Minnesota Fats of the neighborhood. I break out my "Simpsons" stick and start smacking those balls into the pockets. Yes I do own a pool stick with Homer Simpson on it, don't judge...just love. And all of the balls are good right? I don't discriminated against the balls, all are fair game for me. :) We have ordered some bar food here and its bar food. I have never had any beer or cocktails at this place so I really cannot rate it based on the alcohol but the fun is good. They also have ping pong another game where you get worse or better based on alcohol content of the human body. There is a very busy Halal food truck outside of the Cue Bar, which seems very popular at all times of the day. Note to all coming here....DO NOT PARK IN THE CVS PARKING LOT. They tow cars regularly in this parking lot. Cue Bar has no parking lot so you will need to park your car on the street or better yet take an UBER. When we came to this spot I was kind of discouraged due to the big B rating on their door. Nevertheless, we entered and headed straight to the bar. The bar itself is huge. Lots of seating and there is such a variety in drinks. Probably any and everything you could want. I was satisfied with the bar. When seated at the bar, you can overlook all the pool tables. It was set up nicely. This spot is equipped with activities for all ages. There are pool tables, a beer pong table, a ping pong table and an air hockey table. There might be more things in the back but I didn't get that far. We only stayed at the bar for a short while and left however I could see myself coming back here and playing some games. Had a date at Cue Bar on a Thursday night. My first impression was a good one. The place has a good vibe. It's huge, clean, the football game was on the big screen....we were good. The register in the front is for pool only.....there will be another bill for food and drinks. The prices for pool are listed and the price is dependent on the day, time, and amount of people on the table. He gave in his I.D. to get a pool table and were assigned table #19. There are several pool tables, a Foosball table, a Beer Pong Table, and Table Hockey. The waitress came around (in the beginning of our date) and took drink and food orders. I ordered Pinot Grigio and then a Sex on the Beach from the Happy Hour Menu. Not sure of the Pinot Grigio brand but it was delightful and the Sex on the Beach was really good. There were a lot of good drink choices on the late night happy hour menu posted right on the front door. When we wanted to order food, the waitress was no where to be found and it was not busy at all. When she finally came around, we grabbed her and ordered Honey BBQ popcorn chicken and they came out cold. He really wanted quesadillas anyway so we sent the chicken back and ordered steak quesadillas instead. She was very nice about taking the food back and taking it off the bill. Before the quesadillas came out, she brought us the bill saying that she's closing out so we should close out. It's all good but now I understand why you were no where to be found. She was probably cleaning up so she could get up outta there. What I didn't like is that she stood there in front of us waiting for him to pay, took the money, never brought back the change, and didn't ask if the change was hers or not. I thought that was rude. I've gone by this place a great number of times and finally last week my friend decided he wanted wings and I wanted to play pool so this is where we came. It was a Tuesday night which was all good because this place is open until 3am. I parked right out front. We sat on a little repurposed pool table couch and ordered wings and fries. I LOVED the fries. Perfect crunchy. Perfect amount of salt. My friend enjoyed his wings. They come in orders of 8, 12, or 15. Didn't order any drinks so I can't comment on that. As far as the pool goes, there are plenty of pool tables and they are set up nicely enough that you aren't dancing around trying to avoid hitting the person at the next table. There are tvs scattered around and ONE HUGE one that I was right under. As far as service, there was always someone floating around when I had a question and they were quick and attentive. My friend's suggestion was to come here and bring a can of whooping in billiards. Said can of whoop a-- did not materialize. Not that I'm amazing at pool anyway. The music is top 40's, and to quote Kate Perry, I liked it. Then again, I walked in with my coworkers around 3 pm, so maybe it wasn't a crazy scene. We were looking for something nice to unwind after a long crazy week of work. After walking in, I glimpsed in and spied scores of pool tables, even a table tennis table, and also air hockey table. For some reason, they didn't have some things on the menu--maybe since it was the afternoon? Or is it like this often...I would still give them the benefit of the doubt. Espresso machine wasn't working, so we did not have cappuccinos or Irish Creme Espresso. We ended up with two iced coffees which were great! Oh well, so there are no berries for colada. It's okay we are resourceful, so we got pina coladas instead. I felt bad for the waitress, since she was all alone by herself, bringing us drinks and plates of food. She was aboveboard about the things available and apologetic about things that ran out. I liked her. She was really helpful and friendly. And we all really liked our meals and also the drinks which were good. Sweet! I was thinking of Long Island Iced Tea, but it might be too much--let's save it for next time! The cue bar. Well let me start by saying. I was here for a date night and it was okay. The bar staff is a little overwhelmed it took a while for them to come to you. Also what's up with the garnish. Lmao we ordered a bay breeze and for garnish we kept getting lemon or lime garnish. What ever happened to the pineapple and if you didn't have it, what about a cherry or the orange. But the wait wasn't long. We played a few games stayed for an hour and had a good time, playing. The floor waitress was no where to be found for the first 30 min of our play time and listen we were there to play and drink. And if we would have had more drinks we would have power more. The place was clean and nice so that's a plus but would have liked faster service and attention. When we left we noticed floor staff was a little to busy socializing and smoking outside. Needed to catch the Mets Vs. Yankees and The Celtics Vs. Heats game. Both airing at the same time, we decided to come here since I remembered they had a good amount of televisions at the bar. The had both games on! and the nba game was on the projector screen in the back for people shooting pool and playing Ping Pong. The bartender Vanessa was very friendly, helpful and might I add cute! She had a lot of customers ordering drinks, but we were still able to get her attention anytime we needed something. She was even able to help my friend charge his Iphone behind the bar. Since we're sitting for a while watching the games, we decided to order the beer tower for my friend and I. The tables are solid without any scratches on the felt. Most of the cues are straight but always test them before using them! I love that they have a full bar and have waitresses going around to each table. Drinks are okay here, not the widest selection of beer but respectable enough where everyone will find something that they like. I do like drinking Macallen here, something about drinking whisky and playing pool just rings that perfect tone. Make sure you don't park in the CVS parking lot. You will get towed. read more
