Wow! Definitely happy I decided to check this place out. I had a great experience. I love that there is so much space throughout the restaurant. There are a lot of TVs, which is great to watch different sporting events at the same time. Definitely a great space to hold an informal networking event. The food was amazing. So much better than I expected! I got the shrooms and bulbs burger, which was delicious. It comes with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and raw red onion. Next time I may add fig jam to it to add a different level of flavor. I asked for medium but it came out more medium-well. I decided to try garlic butter potatoes and they were delicious as well. They were roasted but the garlic butter flavor was infused throughout the potatoes. Both the shrooms and bulbs and the garlic potato's came highly recommended by our server, Michaela. She was spot on with suggesting these! I also ordered a Wild Sour Series: Dragonfruit Mango Ale. It was perfect and just what I was looking for in a sour. A member of my party got a whiskey burger and French fries. The burger came with Jameson infused bacon, cheddar cheese, whiskey sauce, lettuce, tomato, and raw red onion. She absolutely loved her burger and she is usually very critical of food when we go out to eat. She also loved the French fries. They had a great crunch to them and they weren't too hard. Michaela was amazing! She was so pleasant and offered great suggestions to us. She really helped to make the dining experience a great one for us. Happy hour is 3-6 from Monday through Friday. There are also daily specials Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays there is live music and there are DJs. You can rent out the space for events. Enjoyed a work event at Tap Room. There's a private room downstairs that holds about 50 people comfortably. We were given a selection of mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, pretzel nuggets, vegetables with hummus and pita bread, buffalo chicken, Mac & cheese balls most of which are fried. The cocktails were an apple cider cocktail with Tito's vodka or an Espresso Martini made with Tito's. The bartender did a great job making the featured cocktails that were delicious! On a side note, parking in the back is checked by the Garden City Village Enforcement. Parking is 2 hours & checked by enforcement. Tickets were issued for parking front forward which is not allowed so be aware to park properly or you will be ticketed. It's a total money grab which is a shame bc it will hinder me in future from dining at these establishments with the ridiculous parking restrictions. read more

Unless you schedule space. I'm sure they will accommodate. Pricing was adequate for the listed menu items. Nice variety of menu options. So many tasty choices. The blackened chicken gyro was suggested. I must say, it was really good. Paired with the house fries. Perfectly cooked grilled / blackened chicken, with fresh chopped lettuce and tomato with just enough tzatziki sauce. Nicely seasoned fries, again just enough not so much as to over power the fries. The gentleman (Scurby C) behind the bar was also my server. He is pleasant and personable. Attentive to the patrons in his area and checks in periodically without being extra. My fiance found the Tap Room as a dining option for us while in the area since they have several gluten-free and vegetarian items on their menu. It was pretty busy for an early Friday evening when we went, which is to be expected, but we got a table for four right away. The server was great with getting our orders in quickly since we were eating before a hockey game at UBS. I opted for a shrooms and bulbs burger with a Beyond patty, as well as sweet potato fries. Note, their other fries are not labelled as gf. When my "bunless" burger arrived, it looked...interesting. I was still hyped to dig in since it had all of my favorite components, including Swiss. Sadly, I found it to be quite bland, and I was a bit disappointed by it. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their meal, and I liked my sweet potato fries. Chicken tacos as per her recommendation and a Shirley temple heavy on the grenadine. Barely any grenadine, and no cherries. I felt like a bother because I had to keep asking for things. The buffalo chicken tacos had NO FLAVOR and were DOUSED in hot sauce... like they seasoned this meat with hot sauce ‍ ordered my favorite birria egg rolls to go and they looked drier than the Sahara dessert... I had to get her attention several times instead of her checking on me. At the end I had "tap room rewards" and wanted to pay with that or use my free appetizer reward etc... she told me she didn't know how/what to do with my offers and then came back with the whole check compd due to it being covered with the rewards. We couldn't get tickets to Friday night's Mets game so we decided to go early and get a table to watch the game. We made a great decision! Hailey was our server and she was great. The place was pretty empty when we first got there but by the time the game started, there was a very long wait, including people with very small children which I didn't understand. I'm a mom, I get it, but not the best atmosphere for kids at all. The food was great and the vibe was great! Was in the area looking for something to eat tried this place a while ago so wanted to see how food the food was and everything was just ok... not the best not the worst. We got the steak sandwich, short rib pappardelle and the happy hour muscles. The bread was stale and not enough steak on the sandwich we also subbed our regular fries for truffle fries, and the fries are just drenched in oil. The short rib pasta was also just ok not enough seasoning very bland and kinda had a slimy texture to it. The muscles were also just ok. We got the garlic and white wine. It was a little bit too salty and no flavor of white wine at all. The service was good, quick and accommodating. The ambience was also nice. My first impression when I walked in was wow, this place is huge with lots of TVs too. We didn't opt for anything from the brunch menu (there were only 5 options), instead we got the white wine & garlic mussels, hot honey brussels, birria egg rolls, potato bacon soup, 2 tap burgers with fries and a kids mac & cheese. I also ordered the fried wontons but she forgot to put in the order (she didn't even realize) & I was pretty disappointed about that. All the food came out in under 10 minutes and everything looked delicious. The soup was creamy & crunchy (with bacon bits), birria egg rolls were packed with meat and the brussel sprouts was really good- crispy & sweet. My daughter enjoyed her mac & cheese, lemonade & fries. However, the mussels + broth were bland, the garlic bread that accompanied it was hard and the cheese was burnt in the burger giving it a charred taste.
