We enjoyed a nice charcuterie board, dessert and a little espresso martini to top it off.

I Finally got a chance to review one of our favorite spots to do a wine tasting…read more We first came months ago at a suggestion from some friends to go with them. It was a great tasting of a vineyard in California. A month or so later we went to another tasting that also was quite good. Then, last week we went to another with friends. This time we noticed on the email they explained how to park for free(we never knew this, always grabbed street parking). So the hook up in the parking ramp was nice. We walked into the Gourmetphile to a group of happy people ready to try some wines. We grabbed our seats by our friends and got ready. The spokesman for the company had some words, explaining the Gil family vineyard and its different wines. It's located in Spain and is between a couple of the more famous wine valleys there. Then we were off to the wines. They were quite good. What was debatably even better were the dishes that the owner provide for each wine. Different meats, cheeses and jams. Every dish was designed for that specific wine to match with. It's a few dollars for a tasting here, but when you know it almost good wines, and excellent food, it's worth it. We left with a bottles of wine so obviously these were good. And we look forward to the next one.

Wow! These people sure know how to host a wine tasting. We…read morecame here recently for a tasting, and loved how organized they were. First of all, the amount of people is limited, making it an almost one on one experience with the person introducing the wines. Allowing us to listen clearly to their information and stories about the wines and wineries and easy to ask questions too. Not only do they know their wines, but they know very well what to pair with them. This was not a random charcuterie plate on the side, they paired each wine with a specific bite/ dish and explained why exactly they chose that an how it would compliment the wine. And, honestly, it all worked harmoniously. At the end of the tasting we were able to buy bottles, and also look at their shop front which has so many delicious cheeses, meats and more, plus, of course, wine to bring home and recreate these tastings experiences at home with your friends, family, or date. Highly recommend coming here, and you will definitely see us checking in again.

The business is run by Italians Silvia and Franco and on our night, assisted by grandson Alessandro. In the day it is a well stocked wine retail establishment with additional specialty items curated from Italy. But they offer a dining experience for up to 12 at 6:30pm The menu is set by Chef Franco and he will shop the finest local ingredients that day. Some of the shelf stable items are sourced from Italy like flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The entire experience feels as if you are visiting a good friend in Italy. We normally eat early and fast. At this experience we savored each course and paired it with wines suggested by Silvia and others in our party who had an interest in wine. Every bite was wonderful. We finished at 9:30pm and felt perfectly satisfied. The next morning my wife and I both noticed no reflux. To me that is the hallmark of high quality food and wine well prepared and enjoyed despite eating later than usual. Treat yourselves for a very special occasion.

Great mixture of select wine and foods from Italy. Sylvia was so nice and informative; offering wine to pair with our orders along with detailed explanations of Italian cooking and courtier. We were the only ones dining for lunch so we had a lovely time. The food parade started with the Zucchini Blossom (filled with mozzarella cheese) - OMG was that delicious. On to the next tapa was the Summer Capri - OMG 2 with an 18yo balsamic. Next up was the Pizza Alta Pisana - hands down THE BEST pizza we've EVER had. Made with the same 72hr dough as the Focaccia and with grated parmigiana cheese instead of mozzarella. Half with capers and drizzled with EVOO. Sylvia suggested Moscato for my sweet tooth queen and me a cab blend that was hearty without the sulfates. For the grand finale, we had homemade Profiteroles with cream and dark chocolate. Grand slam! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT for lunch or dinner. Call for reservations Thank you Franco and Sylvia - we'll see you soon

The wine tasting experience was $25 and there is a courtesy purchase of 1 bottle. But the wines were so amazing, we ended up buying way more. In fact, I returned to the store just a week later to buy more bottles of champagne for a party I was hosting later that week. The area also has a huge free parking lot which is a big deal in Wilton. First of all, the owners, Tim and Tracy, are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They welcome all with open arms, will find you the perfect wine for your tastes, and just generally have awesome customer service. Next, the WINE! What a great selection of natural wine. So much variety! Unique styles, unique countries. If you're an expert, pick for yourself. We prefer telling Tim what we're looking for and letting him choose the perfect match. Finally, the ambiance. Hip and modern, but still comfortable. We've been a few times during slow hours, and their sweet dog will be curled up on the mid century modern couch. Besides wine, there are other wine related goodies for sale. It's worth it to note, as of 2024 they no longer sell wine by the glass or food, and have gone back to being more of just a shop. But you can go in and do a tasting of the 4 wines of the week. Other great options are their weekly tastings with experts to teach you about the wines, and the monthly food pairing event!

My friend and I did the wine tasting first. We had a great experience with Tyler; he was very knowledgeable about the wines, including those not on the tasting list. I appreciate the service he provided us. Vanessa..Vanessa is one of the top servers at the wine tasting bar in my opinion. She gave us some different things to try, like turning wine into a chocolate strawberry wine with two flavors. She was on the money. She gave top-tier services. Kemen's smile is always contagious when he is here. We call him the truffle expert. The service that he provides at the wine tasting as well is top tier. If you are ever there, ask for one of these tasters; I promise you won't be disappointed. After our tasting, we had dinner, and our waiter's name was Anastasia.
