From the start, Bri's warmth and energy made the evening special--she even hiked her gear up three flights of stairs without missing a beat! By the end of the night, I'd made a new friend. Her food? Incredible. None of us could stop eating long enough to take pictures! The bourbon peach chicken was perfectly moist, and the red snapper was my personal favorite. Her baked brie with figs was so inspiring I recreated it for Thanksgiving. We had an international group at the table, and everyone went back for seconds (and thirds). When we reached out to Culinary Experiences about a beachside luncheon for my bachelorette party, I had no idea what to serve - only that it needed to feed 10 women with varied dietary restrictions and allergies at an unfamiliar beach rental with a potentially limited kitchen. From one introductory call, Chef Bri was able to synthesize my concept along with the limitations into a proposed menu that needed little, if any, adjustments. She also knew what questions to ask - thanks to her familiarity with the beaches area, she knew more about what to expect from our rental than I did, which eliminated so much uncertainty on my end leading up to the event. As for the meal itself - amazing! It was our first group meal on the trip, and Chef Bri's skill and attention to detail set the perfect tone. The presentation was polished while still capturing the casual beachside vibe I had hoped for. The food was excellent, and the menu was perfectly designed to share while still accommodating the whole party. I also appreciated the caution she exercised around a particularly serious food allergy, and the effort that went into ensuring guest safety without excluding anyone from the experience. When I decided to move my tax residence to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, last June, I set out to find a personal chef, since I work 12+ hours a day as a trader/investor. Since I used to own a restaurant, I needed someone who knew how to make outstanding food, was responsive to my schedule and culinary tastes and was flexible to come to my house, twice a week, and make enough for me to have dinner for consecutive nights, only having to reheat what he'd made. After much research, I found Chef Dan Frye, and his wonderful wife, Brianna. They are intelligent, talented, personable and have spent extensive amounts of time abroad. They are willing to learn new dishes and prepare items that are beautifully presented and taste as good as they look. Dan does most of the food shopping, food prep and clean up, and Brianna will fill in for him, when necessary, and is a great mixologist.
