His bid was competitive, and he was able to offer suggestions and ideas that we hadn't thought of or didn't know were feasible. The initial timeline was several months out, but Rob remained in contact and was able to move us up on the calendar. The project was completed at the quoted price, plus a couple of scope additions we requested. Work took a little longer than expected, likely due to modifications needed to bring our aging home up to standard, and the perfection of our tile work; Rob does things the right way, and uses great subcontractors. The end result is beautiful. The bathroom remodel was completed so perfectly that we now see flaws in our guest bathroom which was remodeled 3 years ago by a different contractor. Our master suite has transformed from the worst part of our home to our personal sanctuary. I would not hesitate to hire Rob Tol Construction again. In fact, we're already planning to when we're ready to start our next project. All were taken down to the studs, so there was lots of demolition. Rob sequenced the work so I was never without a functioning bathroom. Everything adjacent to the work areas was wrapped and the floors protected. Rob and his helper were meticulous about checking all the new fittings for leaks and repaired damage from a pre-existing leak from an upstairs bathroom. Rob's original estimate was accurate and the only extras were things I asked for in the course of the job. Now that the job has been done a while I am completely satisfied.
