It's a pretty decent home service company, however - the workers are very professional and the service is reasonably priced. I haven't called on them for plumbing service, but their heating & A/C people know their stuff. When I've called them to fix my A/C, they've not only fixed my main problem, but have also done other little fixes (e.g., replace a section of insulated ductwork that had a hole in it) or give helpful tips (e.g., use this type of furnace filter, not this other type). Like any home service company, they can get backed up during "crunch" times. If you're calling them because your A/C broke on the first 90-degree day of the year, you're going to wait a few days. In general, though, they're not going to leave you hanging, especially for routine repair work. Their prices are reasonable, though, and their people are knowledgeable - qualities you want when it's someone working on your home.

The tech put 2 lbs. of refrigerant in and a die pack and said we have a small leak and the unit was cooling. The unit was cool for about 10 hours. We were charged $470.00. We called the next day, but they couldn't fit us in until the day after we called. When the tech arrived, he was here for 10 minutes and said it was our coil. It's been 3 days and they still have yet to give us a quote to fix the coil!!

Thus far they have fixed multiple leaks (one of which they had to be called back for to fix), installed gas lines, and removed a tank water heater and replaced with a gas tankless system. He showed up, changed the time for regeneration, upped the GPG for the salt which doesn't do anything but add more salt for softening and added air to the bladder. I've still got brown water, in fact it's worse. He talks to and treats you like you're just a stupid home owner and he's the expert.

Andy's quote for the water install job was over a thousand dollars cheaper than his competitors and we're very happy with the install and our water system. Andy was later hired to perform two additional jobs. (Water Heater Install & Bathroom fixture install). His quotes were less than competitors and the jobs were done without issue. Aside from Andy being the low bidder, Andy brings an air of confidence to each job. It's going to get done, it's going to get done right. I appreciate the fact that their schedule is full, and that they have customers like me who have come to depend on them for their honest reliable services.

This well company drilled my well about 4 years ago. During the summer of last year, (3 years after…read moreinstall) I noticed that there was a LOT of water accumulating about 15 feet downhill from the well. It continued down the incline and flooded my driveway made of millings causing quite a bit of damage, so I decided to dig a French drain system. I hand-dug around the well, about a foot down I could see water bubbling out whenever the well pump cycled. Shutting off the electric, I dug down to find the metal coupling/reducer that comes out of the well column and connects to the pipe that feeds the pressure tank in the house. Turning the electric back on and running the water, I could see water shooting from this connector. A LOT of water. So it became obvious why the yard and driveway were constantly flooded into a marsh like state. Called Smyrna well and explained the situation. He said he would come out two days later in the morning. When I called after he didn't show he said that they blew a hose on their digger and he needed to fix it. Long story short, I was blown off at least six times for various reasons and he would never show up as promised, nor call to explain why he didn't show and try to reschedule. I always had to chase him and try to get him to come out. I decided to hire a plumber that came on high recommendation. He was able to determine the problem just by looking at the part with the hole and the part exiting the well it was connected to. The part coming from the well was made of brass. The connecting part with the hole was made from galvanized steel. (see photo of part with hole caused by electrolysis) He said that a very basic rule in plumbing is to not connect two pieces of dissimilar metal as they will create a condition known as electrolysis which will eventually eat through the metal and cause a leak or total failure. Seems that galvanized was cheaper, so no thought was given to the headache it would cause the homeowner later. Very little consideration given to doing the job correctly, and even less to providing any form of after support. I gave the well company owner over a month to come by and fix this issue, and he never showed nor called to let me know the status of when he could come. After a month, I got tired of waiting and called a professional. If I ever have to drill a well again, I will use a company that knows not to use dissimilar metals and will guarantee and fix the work they performed. Disappointed isn't a strong enough word for what I'm feeling about this situation.

Price gouging! Took advantage of older retired people…read more Charged us $820.00 to replace a $145.00 Teco recirculating pump on our hot water system. The entire job took less than 1 hour. Looks like $675.00 per hour labor rate to me. First sent over someone who could not fix the problem and then had us wait two more days the send another tech. I knew I was being taken, but just spent more than 3 days without hot water. I have been a customer for more than 3 years and schedule maintenance services every year. Never been happy with their pricing, but this is the final straw. Will never use them again. Left a message for Mr. Pierce asking for an explanation of the charges before I wrote this review, but he did not even give me the courtesy of a return call.
