I strongly suggest you do not use this company for your water delivery service. It's been a nightmare since I began service with them a few months ago. Tomorrow I will be firing them from their horrible service. I signed a contract to have water delivered once a month. Every month I've had to call to see when my water will delivered and it's usually 5 to 6 weeks. I am completely out of water by this point and have to buy additional gallons of water Customer service is grade F. The ladies just do not care , it's astonishing, it's also astonishing how they keep their jobs . I drink a lot of water to maintain my health, it's the most important thing we can do for our bodies Culligan water co are careless with my health and well-being . If I could give zero stars I would. This company is the worst customer service company I have ever had to deal with in my life. Do not do any business with them unless you want to receive a collection notice in the mail that you did not pay for the system they installed a year ago. I signed an authorization for payment for everything and they just didn't ever bill my credit card. I also had Enrolled in a monthly service to have my system checked and have salt and have the bulb changed each year. They stopped coming and didn't bill us anymore so we thought they just didn't want our business and then we receive a collection notice for the system install from a year ago and all of the months for the service plan that we didn't even know we still had because we never received a bill, a call, salt, anyone checking our system or anything. Had my routine yearly service on 10/25/2023. Technician was good. Inside staff (billing) not so good. I had questions about my bill. I called several times and left messages. They don't call you back. They processed my credit card when they said they would not until they called me back. I was also charged a $2 paper processing fee even though they had my credit card information and should not have sent me an invoice. I would think twice before installing any of their equipment. They have a monopoly and once you install their equipment, only their technicians can service it. read more

I am stunned at the poor service that I have received from the Culligan water team for my home. I was eager to embark on both a whole house water filtration system in the basement as well as a reverse osmosis unit under the kitchen sink. A service contractor came today, worked for 2.5 hours on the RO unit install itself. When he was proceeding to go do the basement portion I asked him to instruct me on the function of the new unit. Well. Out of the clear link spigot came hot drinking water!!!!! When I told him this was not acceptable he told me I had a faulty faucet. It was installed by a local plumber a year ago. It worked just fine. Hot and cold streams were fine. There is a mixing problem that I've had throughout the home but that has never really caused an issue. Sometimes my cold water in the kitchen sink is tepid and my cold cycle on washing machine is tepid. And my hot water has been fine. No other mixing issues except the above. After the install was reversed and removed, the hot water stream in my kitchen sink was a trickle. Not one person from the Culligan management team has followed has followed through with me to address and repair in a timely fashion. Be very aware!!!!!! I would not have believed this occurrence unless it took 5 hours + of my band width away from me today. I just keep getting challenged by the service manager whether this was a change from baseline. Of course it is. I didn't live with a trickle of hot water for 3 years here prior to today's botched visit. One star is too generous. Run in the other direction. And? The installer straight up lied and said that my hot water pressure was low when he turned on the faucet. A true misrepresentation = lie. If it had been? I would have addressed it a loooooong time ago. read more

I would say Don't USE CULLIGAN!! We put in a whole house filtration system which we pay for every month. Service is another $90 a month. They have not shown up in 6 months. Which means no salt, I had to buy my own at Home Depot. I called to inquire, first was told they have a salt shortage. I asked why am I still being charged. The answer from rude Janet is it's a service we provide. I said but you have not serviced me for 6 months. She said that's what we signed up for. If you have a problem it's covered under the service contract. LIE- I had a leak and had to pay the technician for repairs. When I told her she said that it was not true, basically calling me a liar. The service contract is a money grab, much cheaper to get salt at Home Depot since they never show anyways. Shame on us for not reading the fine print. If I could give them a negative star I would. Worst service I've ever experienced. I signed up for their water delivery service on an automatic monthly plan that started in May. They emailed me my first delivery date and told me they would deliver every 4 weeks starting that date. They delivered the first day at the end of the day, but did not bring a water cooler so I could not drink the water. The delivery driver said the order did not mention a cooler, which is crazy. How am I supposed to drink from a 5 gallon jug? He was kind and brought my cooler the next morning. He was supposed to install, but just dropped a box at my front door. Thankfully, install is just plugging it in, so I didn't need him to do anything and just took care of it myself. Then they mailed a future invoice that would cover May and June , which was fine. I set it up for automatic withdrawal. The invoice included my delivery schedule, which matched what they told me by email. When week 4 came, I put my empties outside the night before just in case the driver came early. By the end of the next day (the supposed delivery day), no one had come. I called Culligan the following day and someone took my name and number and said that I would get a call back. I didn't. I have a very busy job and personal life, as I'm sure most other people do, so I called back 2 days later and was able to get in touch with the person I had supposedly left a message for the first time. She told me I was scheduled for the following week. I explained that can't be right and went over the reasons why. She looked at my account and apologized. She said my delivery schedule was set up incorrectly and I should have gotten a delivery that week. She assured me that even though they have my 2nd delivery at 5 weeks, all the future deliveries will be 4 weeks. So I made sure the empties were out the night before again and, again, no one came on my scheduled day. This time I had even gotten a confirmation phone call from Culligan the day before, but they still didnt show up. So I called them to find out where my water was. They were going to see if they could put me on that weeks schedule until I said that it was 2 weeks in a row that I had expected water and not gotten it. I'm buying from the grocery store at this point anyway. It would be great if they would deliver today. The woman said "Oh dear. Let me see if someone is in the area. We'll call you today" Hours and hours later and no phone call. It was the end of the day so they obviously weren't coming or calling me back. So I called and got what sounded like the same woman as before. I told her to just cancel my service altogether. This was only my second delivery and since I couldn't even get it, I dont want to keep the service. She said she would take care of it and I was all set. I of course, I should have known I wasnt, given that she hadn't taken care of anything else. They ended up withdrawing both the May and June payments from my bank account and when I contacted them about it, they said that their records show that I have an active contract. I havent contacted them in writing in order to cancel and I need to give them 30.days notice. I explained that I recieved no water at all in June so they can't charge me for a product I did not get. Their response was that I have the water cooler and jugs. I responded that they are cheating me. I explained the whole situation, start to finish - the number of times I had to contact them - how I tried getting water in June but they just didnt bring it, and how I tried canceling my service and they told me it was done. But they steal my money anyway. They are charging me for holding empty eater jugs and a useless water cooler. They are thieves and liars. DO NOT use their service!! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would.  I've been dealing with them for a year.  To start, salt/filter deliveries are always iffy - they are never on the scheduled date and often completely missed.  We just found out that our system had ZERO neutralizing material after prodding a yearly service tech to help with water that felt slimy.  Even though the system was serviced last year it had no calcium neutralizing material left (according to him it only needs to be topped off yearly, not completely refilled).  But who knows who I can even believe at the company at this point. I called customer service to inquire about water quality tests and a woman who claimed her name was Janet, was difficult to work with and would not pass me along to another customer service rep or supervisor.  Literally refused my request to speak to someone else when I realized she couldn't answer all of my questions in a coherent manner.  When I asked for her name she repeatedly told me I was not listening to her and made it difficult to even get that info.  Not sure if her name is even Janet.  If anyone at that company has any integrity - you should really really look into what your staff is doing.  Completely insane.  Stay far away from Culligan. I'll never call these people again and will tell everyone I know to use someone else. First of all I was a customer of theirs- they put in a water purification system years ago. I called them the other day because the tank that holds the salt was leaking. I expected a reasonable quote to come out and check out the tank. The guy that I talked to said the tech will check out the whole system for $153 -- I said I just had that done last summer and I wasn't due for a check up,so I asked how much is the service call to just check out the salt holding tank. and he said $153. I was wild $153 to check out a leak- Nothing like trying to take advantage of people. I told the guy to have someone call me to discuss this-- The call never came--- See you later. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Find another company. Ordered and received a water cooler. Received my first delivery as scheduled. The second month, the water bottles were never dropped off on the date I was given. When I contacted the company, they told me the delivery had been rescheduled (without letting me know) to a different date. No one showed on the 2nd date either. I called back to be told it had been rescheduled yet again for the following week. At this point, I cancelled the service since it was unreliable. After paying for the initial setup delivery and the first water delivery that I had received, they continued to charge me for water deliveries I never received. Called month after month to continuously be told the bill would be removed, but continued to receive a bill. read more

I purchased my system on May 23, 2010. The salesman Matt Stickers tested my water and determined it was very bad. My stepson "who is a licensed plumber" was present at the time. Matt sold me a system that would alleviate me from changing filters all the time as I told him I was changing filters once a month as I have a French drain and the backwash would be fine. The system was installed on March 26th and my step son was here then also. Matt was due back on April 1 for a followup but due to Covid 19 we rescheduled till 6/16. Matt called that day to say he broke his toe could he reschedule till 6/22. He never called or showed up on 6/22 so we rescheduled for 6/24. He did come on 6/24 and tested the water at which point I told him I wanted a maintenance contract, which I bought. I GAVE Matt a cancelled check for auto deduction and he said someone would contact me to set up a schedule. NO ONE ever contacted me so I called Matt back and he said call the 800 number, he was sales not maintenance. So there lies the first big shebang. Wham bam thank you mam, not my problem. I finally got a visit set up for 7/1. NO ONE SHOWED up!!!! I was almost out of salt so I finally reached, Aaron the maintenance manager and he personally delivered some salt on7/15 and suggested I called the 800 number to set up maintenance. I did and they said I was scheduled for 11/9. Needless to say 11/9 came and I called to verify someone was coming at which point I was informed that the date was a delivery date, not a scheduled maintenance date. Frustration beyond belief I explained to Tanya that my system was chocking at which point she was able to schedule someone for the next day. Greg the technician explained that I basically I should have had the Filterclear system, which was a backwash system that would eliminate the need to change the filter probably every 4 months because of the amount of rust. I told him that is WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS SOLD.! I have since spoken Aaron, the manager in maintenance, left a message for Mike K., who is Greg's boss and Matt, who is Matt Stickers boss, neither of whom has returned my call. I spent almost $ 5,500 for this system an I AM NOT @ ALL happy with the service NOR the management I as i continue trying to reach a resolve . I have a Culligan reverse osmosis water filtration system that requires filters be replaced which includes a membrane and filters for sediment and carbon and a 4th bullet like filter for removal of chlorine. I have purchased these filters in the past from the West Warwick store. They repeatedly always have problems finding information about purchases in the past. They charged me 200.00 dollars just for the membrane filter and another ninety dollars for the other filters. They charged me over three hundred dollars for these filters. I told my children and they suggested I look online. I was able to purchase the same filters for a little over 50 dollars. I went to return the filters that were still enclosed in the sealed wrapping with the receipt and was told they were not allowed to take returns. This appears to be price gouging and also taking advantage of an elderly female since I am 71 years old. I don't recommend purchasing replacement filters from this location in West Warwick,RI. read more

After seeing a few ads on Facebook I decided to try Culligan water. I had some issues at the beginning of my service and was considering going elsewhere until I called customer service. I dealt with Monique two times and both times she was so fantastic that she kept me as a customer. I left the company I was with for the last 3 years bucause of very poor customer service. I call Culligans along with a couple others and they seemed to be the best value. When I spoke with customer service to set up my new accoung it was very smooth and the gal I spoke with was very helpful. It's still early in the relationship but so far so good. The worst customer service in history. Culligan delivered a bad tank and they can't come out for days. The water is orange and smells and they expect me to live like this for days. Wish this was in their homes. Very bad customer service and the staff is very rude. I feel this was done maliciously because last month I was upset that they had charged me for months of service that they never showed up for. Great product, horrible customer support. I needed a service, called Culligan of West Warwick for an appointment after receiving one of their cards in the mail, was offered a 10AM-1PM slot several weeks later, told them that wouldn't work and was offered a 1:00-4PM slot which I accepted. The day before my appointment I received a voice mail message reminding me one of their techs would be coming between 10:00AM and 1:00PM. Wait, that's not my appointment time, so I called back and they told me that was my only option because the appointment time I had made weeks earlier was actually only my preferred time and that they go by what time works for their schedule that day. So in essence, Culligan of Warwick, despite give me a three hour window around which I planned, expects you to be available for them the entire day. Their scheduling makes cable companies look thoughtful! Wish I had not bought the system, and would not recommend them based on my attempts at getting my system serviced. read more

Knowledgeable, friendly and open to providing assistance or recommendations. I was pleased to know my 10+ year old system was in good shape. I did upgrade the RO filter system a few years back and is also doing well. Didn't feel any pressure of a suggestive sell or push to update. I still feel valued as a customer and that I made a good investment choice. I would have been really really pleased if the filters on the RO change were bled prior to installation rather then seeing the charcoal in the water and having to run the tank dry a couple of times after service. read more

Culligan water softening equipment does a great job removing rust and odors from my well water. Quarterly service (filters and salt delivery) always on time and done expertly. Friendly service person. Recommend Culligan to anyone needing clean water. read more
