Absolutely horrible experience with Sureflow Rooter. We hired them for a sewer backup issue, and the situation became significantly worse after their visit. The basement was left with visible sewage contamination on floors, walls, pipes, and surrounding finished surfaces. Instead of properly cleaning and sanitizing the affected areas, the sewage appeared to have been smeared around the basement. What should have been a professional sewer service turned into a biohazard situation that now requires professional remediation and possible removal of contaminated materials. The technicians and management were extremely unprofessional throughout the process, and after we raised concerns about the condition the basement was left in, communication became dismissive and calls were repeatedly ended without resolution. If you are dealing with a sewer backup or any situation involving contamination in your home, I strongly recommend hiring a company that takes proper containment, cleanup, and customer safety seriously. Based on this experience, I would never use or recommend Sureflow Rooter again. read more

Sureflow rooter was the 4th place that I called after my antique bathtub wouldn't drain. The first place wouldn't open up a panel to access the pipes and wanted me to do it (I'm not a handy person). Sureflow did it without any issues. The second place wanted me to pay a dispatch fee which I didn't want to do if they also didn't want to open that panel. Sureflow didn't charge me a dispatch fee. The 3rd place no showed and when I called to figure out what happened, they were vague about when they would get to me. I called Sureflow and they came on time at our agreed upon date. I highly recommend Sureflow rooter and will definitely call Sureflow again with future drainage issue. read more

Sureflow came to my house to fix a clogged sink (and charged quite expensively). After a few months the sink broke again and water was leaking from the pipe. They didn't end up fixing my problem and tried to charge me another amount for their "work". Oh, and did I mention that they came in 5 hours late for a morning appointment? read more

I contacted Sureflow after reading fellow Yelpers reviews. My bathroom sink drain was clogged beyond the P trap/ wall and I was unable to reach it myself. They arrived exactly at the scheduled appointment time, and repairs were completed perfectly within an hour. Brian's come out on a few occasions and today I called him to clear our sewer line. Even though it was money out of his pocket (and I was embarrassingly late in paying him for the previous visit), he informed me that the city I live in now clears street side blockages for free. Brian and Mike are awesome! I had a terribly clogged bathtub drain...I spent over 4 hours this weekend, and took a trip to Lowes to buy and try multiple types of snakes trying to unclog this monster...and I just couldn't get to the actual trap where the clog was located. While very discouraged, I decided to look at the Yelp reviews for a plumber in my area and found Sureflow Rooter. Due to the positive reviews, I figured I'd call and see if there was any way that they could come look at the drain within the next day or two. I called them between 11:30am and noon today. They said that they come out between 2:00pm and 3:00pm today. They called when they were on their way, and got here around 2:15pm. They also had to fight a bit to get through to the trap (it's an old house with an odd setup), but were able to get it taken care of and put everything back together within an hour. They charged $110, WELL worth the money! The clog was quite extensive. They cleaned up everything after and even put the overflow cap back on (that I had taken off). These guys were top-notch and I will definitely use them again! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber!! A+++ read more

Two great experiences: 1) came by, unclogged our sink drain, was on time and less expensive than larger companies 2) came to our other house, assessed the problem (galvanized pipes corroded, causing a sink clog). Said they were not licensed to replace pipes in MA (but can in RI). Refused to take a payment for their assessment. Said they could snake the line, but because of the corrosion, it would only be a temporary fix. Brian and his son were AWESOME! I recently bought a house and uncovered major issues with the waste water pipe. Had waste backing up into my basement due to roots growing into my pipe. Sureflow responded quickly and managed to remove a lot of the roots and get the water flowing so I could actually use my house. I had a clogged toilet for DAYS. I tried plunging. I tried using the snake. After watching how to videos, I tried using the snake again. After round 5, I was ready to call in reinforcements. I read solid reviews then called Sureflow Rooter to schedule an appointment. I figured I'd get the voicemail as it was 7:30 pm and well past official business hours. However, a very nice man answered the phone, gave me specific advice on how to use the auger again, and scheduled an appointment for the next evening just in case me v. Toilet didn't go as planned. I called at 8:00 this morning because my tub and bathroom sink were blocked up. We were so grateful that they were able to come out the same day. Our original time was for 11:00 but as anyone can understand there are always things that occur that can set you behind. However, we were notified regularly of their ETA. Can you give less than 1 star? Brian is rude, shifty and incompetent! Be warned about this company! We had Brian and his assistant out to our home for a poor drainage issue. I was told he had snaked the septic line and found it to be clear (second plumber really snaked the line and cleared the problem) then he told us we needed to have an entire piece of the plumbing line replaced which they had to come back on another day to fix. The first day we paid for the snake, $120 dollars. The next visit, only the assistant came out to the job and the pipe was replaced. However, we were missing cash from our home! Police were called and the money was returned HOWEVER, the problem continued. Against my initial instinct after speaking with another plumber I called them to come back with the hope that the work would be under warranty, it has only been 5 months and the problem continues. So...Brain comes out, the thief had been fired and I am hopeful he will be able to restore flow. Brain tells me that they have to do all the same work again, snake the line and see where the blockage is, this time it is going to cost $360. I ask why is it 3x the cost as a few months ago? He said my number is listed under "headache" and he does not need this harassment! Stormed off my property in a huff. Everything about SureFlow Rooter service is a unprofessional and shady! At the end-April 2018 I would have given them 5 stars as they came out and snake dour main line for a blockage at $185. Now it is the end of June and he wants $225 for the same service even though the first time did not seem to work very long. I tried to engage him in a discussion on a "plan" to fix the issue permanent but I got nowhere. I am now off to find someone I can really work with. read more

These guys are awesome. I called last minute Saturday morning due to a dishwasher line which had gotten clogged and was beyond my skill level to fix. He was easy to reach by calling and even was able to come the same day! They ended up resolving the issue the first time and explained how to prevent it in the future. These guys are amazing! We had a very serious block in our main outflow pipe. My husband and a handyman tried to fix it themselves, but nothing they did worked. We were hesitant when it came to calling a company, because of all those scary stories you hear about how they will overcharge and under perform. But since they offered free estimates, we gave them a call. They came out and gave us some tips on what they thought was the issue. Let us know to call them if it didn't work, and they would come out to us again. We did as they said, but nothing worked. We called them the next day at 9am, and they told us they would be at our home between 1-2:00pm. By 2:06 they were knocking on the door. I let them in and they went straight to work. They were here for about an hour, and you could hear they were putting in some serious work. After about an hour, they let us know that we were all set, and gave us information on how to keep everything in working order. I had my check book ready and braced myself for the price. To my surprise, they charged us MUCH less than what we had expected. These guys are polite, on time, and very decently priced. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber! read more

Luckiest call we ever made was to Brian at Sureflow. He and Mike immediately diagnosed our clogged sewer lateral as a break - more important, a break that had been caused by a major utility company and its subcontractor. Brian helped us as we worked through the claims process, answered or returned all of our texts and calls, and most important, stood by his work. And guess what? His analysis was absolutely right, and in the end, the subcontractor had to admit that they had broken our line. We can't say enough about Brian's technical skill, professionalism, and integrity. Brian was very quick to respond and agree on a time to come to my home. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way and arrived on time. Pricing was relayed to me upfront. Unfortunately, he was unable to break through the source of our sink's clog. This is understandable, though, as he discovered the clog is caused by grout left by a contractor. He was quick to give advice on how to approach the problem, and recommended someone else who may be able to help. He did a great job walking me through where the issue likely is and how to deal with it. I wasn't charged a dime for the 50min of labor and knowledge. The draining issue is currently worse from breaking up bits of grout, but I'm confident that the information Brian provided will help us resolve the issue down the line. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is because the problem still exists, though I am otherwise extremely pleased with the service provided. I have been plagued with a clogged sewer pipe on one side of the house since I moved in. I have had several companies out to resolve it, with only short term gains and high expenses! Finally I called Sureflow when I was clogged to the point that I couldn't use my kitchen, washing machine, or bathroom. The previous people that came out said the toilet paper I was using wasn't septic safe and was causing the clogs (it's very clearly written on the packaging that it is!). Brian was here in less than 1/2 hour, ON A SUNDAY, and had the problem identified in short order with his trusty camera probe. There were roots invading a section of piping, as well as other areas that were degrading. He opened the clog up enough that I was functional, but said the problem would not be fixed without replacing the piping that was compromised by roots. He was able to come back, THE NEXT DAY, and spent most of the day here digging and replacing pipes. He discovered additional piping that had to be replaced while he was in there, and stayed until the job was done PROPERLY. The entire time, he was open and honest, and gave us an excellent price for the total job. As hard as it got and as each unexpected issue arose, he maintained an awesome attitude and refused to quit until it was fixed properly and permanently! I cannot suggest these folks enough, they spent the time fixing the problem once and for all. If you need help with this sort of thing, these guys are 100% trustworthy!!! read more
