The latter is a definite recommendation because the green chili here is perfect and IMHO, not too spicy. I might have added Cholula to kick it up a notch. ;). Home Cafe is clearly a neighborhood favorite, as the booths were occupied as well as the outdoor cafe tables, but I was still able to grab a seat at the breakfast bar. One thing to note is that parking can be a little challenging, especially for those needing mobility access. The front lot fills up and there are no spaces designated for ADA access. Same goes for the restrooms, which are located downstairs in the basement.

It was warm enough to eat, but it didn't taste freshly made, it felt more like it had been sitting under a warmer for a while before being brought to the table. The coffee also took an unusually long time to come out, which surprised me considering it was just a cup of black coffee. While waiting, I noticed our server sitting in the booth behind us chatting with what appeared to be his family. I have no issue with staff interacting with family or friends, but customers should still be taken care of in a timely manner, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case during our visit.
