Is this place called "Dirt" because the staff treat you like dirt? We didn't have a good experience here. I'd read reviews mentioning a rude barista, and unfortunately, I think we met her. She seemed openly unhappy to be there and was very unpleasant to all customers. We found Dirt on Apple Maps, which listed the coffee shop as open until 5 p.m., but when we arrived, we discovered it had moved. After tracking down the new location, we finally ordered drinks, only for the staff to start closing almost immediately. I asked about their hours, and the barista curtly told me they're closing and I could sit outside. I heard her drive away other guests who'd just bought drinks too. Another staff member said I could stay for a bit, but by then, I didn't feel welcome. As I sat outside, I ended up telling at least four groups of people that the place was closed. They really need to update their online listings, while that barista needs to learn some basic manners. We won't be coming back. read more

Dirt coffee bar is an ab ham & cheese croissant- loved especially because they serve it warmed up oatmilk cortado with vanilla - enjoyed it especially the microfoam. love the sparkling water served with it! the baristas behind the bar were all kind and friendly. greeted us upon entering and told us about their seasonal drinks. A coffeeshop that also supports a good cause? Heck yes! Dirt puts an emphasis on helping neurodiverse folx gain work experience, along with a lot of fundraising and cool programs offered throughout the year. They even have a sensory garden outdoors. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outside, including a fun covered gazebo type of structure. Lots of different types of seats too depending if you are there with a group to socialize or trying to get some work done. Decor is cute, they've got some little gizmos for sale and the staff is very friendly. We didn't try any food, but they have some tasty looking baked goods. Decent drink variety on the menu. I went with a seasonal latte (lavender) and my husband got a chai - both were very tasty. My one qualm is that we said we were staying to have our beverages, yet were still given single use plastic cups. I definitely saw others with mugs and reusable glassware so I'm not sure if it needs to be explicitly asked for or not, but I always prefer it when a coffeeshop opts for the environmentally friendly option. Dirt Coffee Bar is great Saturday/Sunday coffee option. Parking is easy with a lot in the back. There are a couple of cute boutiques down the road. Great coffee, great Gluten free options, and a great burrito (that isn't Bonfire Burritos!!). DIRT supports an incredible mission which makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. Cute spot, though a little cramped for my liking. I met a friend here last week as a midpoint for us. It was after noon and I don't usually do caffeine, so I got one of their seasonal specials, an apple pie tea. The flavor was great - had those apple pie kind of spices and flavors. The staff was friendly - the new employee was trying to the learn the computer system and it was a little tiresome but eventually we got things squared away. Positives: parking in the rear (or street if there are any), nice selection of coffee and tea, friendly staff, good vibes. One of the staff members did go around sweeping at one point which was nice, since the floor did have some crumbs and scraps. Negatives: A bit cramped, couch we sat on is pretty stained and not the most aesthetically pleasing, and the tea I got tasted good but had a lot of ....things, leaves? seasoning pieces? in it which I didn't want to get in my sip of tea. The new location is adorable. It is a wonderful upgrade. The coffee, food, and service is still amazing. Most of all, their community service is life changing. My daughter went through their program years ago. When she started I wasn't sure she'd ever be able to hold a job. She lacked the general skills, though I knew she could learn those easily enough. What I was concerned about was the confidence and level of communication which is required to attend to the average customer, and coworker. Today she is in another barista position full time. She loves it! She's great at it. She is even training others now. She has truly gained the skills to make her own way in the world and leave folks with a smile. I'm very proud of her progress. Dirt Coffee Bar is tucked into the Downtown Littleton area, in a repurposed old house. Inside is simple, comfortable and cozy. While small on the inside, there's plenty of outdoor seating. Parking is confusing, parking and the main door are on the west side or the backside of the house. But once you know that, it wouldn't be an issue for next time. Coffee was ok, not even close to being hot enough unfortunately. However, pastries we got were good. Both baristas were friendly. Unfortunately they do not do anything for dogs, no pup cups or bones. With the hundreds of coffee shop choices, I would choose another coffee shop that does provide pup cups over DCB for that reason alone. That being said, I would return again. read more

We went here on a Saturday morning at 8:45 and it was very busywork ! Thankfully, we were able to get a seat in the outdoor gazebo because it was still a little chilly to start the day. We r got a regular iced latte and the specialty raspberry matcha. We arrived to town a bit early in the day and needed a place to stop for a small bite while my husband some work done. Found this spot here on Yelp and had to stop in. There's a small lot behind the building but many people parked on the street and walked around back to head in and place their order. We were greeted quickly and placed our order. Moments later we were sitting outside at one of the many outdoor spots. They even have a small covered gazebo! I enjoyed a tasty, refreshing strawberry matcha. My husband enjoyed his pastry and I appreciated a few gluten free options to choose from. This place is adorable, comfy, welcoming. There's plenty of space indoors and out. I love this coffee shop. Today I tried the lavender rosemary latte. It was so flavorful and not too sweet. My fiancé had a cortado and loved it. The seating inside can be quite cramped especially on the weekend, but they have seating outside as well! Cute picnic tables for nice weather days and a glass gazebo for with heaters for cold/snow days. The baristas know what they are doing and only serve perfectly dialed in espresso. One of our favorite coffee spots near downtown Littleton. The place is located very close to the main street and close to ACC. The parking lot is very limited and access in or out is tricky, but there is plenty of street parking close by. They have really beefed up the outside seating area, I remember how it looked like when I first found out about this place a couple of years ago, and it has improved by leaps and bounds since then. They even have a closed, heated gazebo outside now. The inside seating area is pretty limited but nice and cozy. I did notice that at least on weekends, they run out of pastries very quickly. I tried a variety of items such as the pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate and enjoyed the depth and strength of flavor without being too sweet. The place was packed when I visited though fortunately most people were getting their drinks to go so there were a few spots available to sit down. The noise level wasn't unreasonable for the amount of people inside and parking wasn't too difficult. The burrito is cheap, though while inexpensive, its just a premade burrito they heat up in a toaster oven. The eggs are microwaved, wrapped in the burrito and then refrigerated and heated to order. I really enjoyed their bacon burrito with salsa and an orange juice. Their tea was yummy too. It was my first time at this coffee shop yesterday and I'm in love! The baristas were both incredibly nice and I really appreciated how they spent their time tidying up the place between customers. You could tell they took a lot of pride in the place which is very good to see. I got a lavender oat milk latte and it was FANTASTIC and not to mention, very reasonably priced. Their pastries also looked very yummy and I can't wait to try one. They also had a variety of other drinks besides coffee including beer and kombucha which I'm excited to try on following visits. There are so many spots to sit inside and outside. I started inside but had a zoom meeting so I took myself outside to their heated patio area. There were plenty of people who came and went but it never felt overcrowded or distracting if you're wanting to work like I was. Also! I'm someone who panics about parking when I go to a place so just remember there is a driveway on the right side of the building that reveals a lot for the building behind it.
