This coffee shop has balanced up and down Colfax for the last few years, but I recently stopped into this new location. They have the same great coffee in a cute little spot with plenty of space on the inside. There's also some other shops attached if you wanted to browse around. This is a cute coffee spot with delicious coffee and pastries along with local artwork. I've met a couple of friends here for a morning coffee and service and product have both been consistent. This place is seriously cute!! I love the different rooms and the variety of couches, chairs, and tables. The music was set at a nice volume- you can have a conversation, making it a good place for a meeting or catching up with a friend. Or you could study or work solo without being distracted. Had a great experience coming here. The lady helping me was super nice and helpful! I really enjoyed the ambiance. Great spot to sit and read or work with a cup of coffee. A sweet little coffee (plant and gift shop too!). Be prepared to be welcomed by warm energy when you enter. Plants hug the air and coffee aromas will fill your lungs. Several food options (get there early if you want that delicious breakfast burrito). There are numerous spots to plop with a book or your computer. If you're coming here it's for the ambiance. It has great artwork and enough seating/parking. I'm surprised there's great reviews for the coffee. The drip was very watered down and the mocha tasted more chocolate than espresso. You can tell the coffee is watered down in my photo. Coffee is good to great, the people that work here seem very nice and the vibes are mellow with comfy seating available. Haven't tried any food or baked goods but they all look good. I was so happy to discover this coffee shop! I absolutely love the space! It is unique and spread out, great for working or catching up with a friend. I love all the different seating options! They have really cool local art exhibited all over the walls. I've been twice, and the art has been different, so I think it changes monthly. I noticed that they do a first Friday art event, which I want to check out in the future! it looks like they do other community events as well. They have a great selection of food and I love the espresso drinks that I've gotten. They serve Novo coffee, which is one of my favorite local roasters. Can't wait to come back for more events and to try more things. My only wish is that they were open later on the weekends, but I understand limitations in that. read more

I ventured here just looking for a place to relax while I waited on an appointment. This spot came up in the area and I decided to try it out. I was NOT disappointed! Super comfy local artist type vide. Tons of cool comfy spots to relax and enjoy your treat. Lots of local artwork on the walls and live plants adorn the space. The coffee is top shelf for sure. I had the mocha which was a perfect balance of Java and Chocolate. Not super sweet just luxurious and velvety. Pastries are fresh and flaky ( I had a chocolate croissant). I suggest order two. You're gonna want more than one for sure. The people. Let me tell you. The staff is so kind and welcoming. I finally tried Mint & Serif after driving by it for years, and it's my new favorite Lakewood coffee shop! They have a delicious spicy chai and a very cute, calming atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for meeting with a friend because they have tons of seating and nice background noise so that you don't feel like everyone in the place can hear everything you're saying. What a lovely coffee house! The pics I took speak for their self but just in case, let me tell you the decor is interesting to look at as you sip coffee and have a nice bite. The decor seems to be part Indian and part Kenyan with beaded items and cloth totes for purchase. This morning I had a mushroom and spinach quiche, a small chorizo burrito with salsa and a lovely Latte. The quiche had a nice soft crust underneath and the flavor of the ingredients was mild and not overpowering. The burrito was a nice change of flavor pace without being to spicy and had a bit of mild Indian flavor (not an overpowering curry). My Latte was delightful and I am going back to pick my daughter up and bring her here because I love the atmosphere, food and coffee so much this morning. read more

Numero quatro in our Colorado coffee house quest is Mint and Serf about 3 minutes from the house. A very mountain town gift shop-esque vibe welcomes you upon entry. Seating ranges from cafeteria type two seaters to couch and arm chair comfort throughout the first front level with a carpeted shopping/art/comfort seating loft area in the back. I ordered an almond milk pumpkin spice latte and Tim remained in his pattern of vanilla whole milk latte but added an egg and sausage panini, as the food options are super tempting here at the Mint. The cheerful barista giggled as I goated hubbie for ordering at the counter before I was ready and we found our seat in the middle of the slow stream of coffee consumers at 9am on this Sunday morning We both admit that the flavored syrup tastes in our lattes didn't shine through as much as we would have liked, mostly tasting like straight milk latte with very little pumpkin or vanilla...but still very warm and frothy and the panini was melty and delish! It should be told that there IS wine and craft beer available later in the day too for anyone interested, probably worth a try! read more

Quaint little coffee shop with fun decor and an outdoor seating area. Love the wall mosaic out front but the back outdoor area could use some sprucing up. The customer service was excellent. My son devoured his cinnamon roll and hot chocolate. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it had the perfect amount of coffee to cream ratio and wasn't overly sweet. Would definitely come back again.
